Increase in scam bots. if you see them, please report them. We are doing what we can to stop it, but its a cat and mouse race.

Like the title says, if you see a bot, then please report. Bots suck and we are working hard to remove them.

My Beretta 92fs with Biohazard GG92 Comp and Maroon DS grips

Would love to one day get a Brigadier slide but can't justify paying $800 for just a slide (Seriously what's going on with slide prices for the brigadier, the whole gun is $900)

Just sent my slide to LTT finally. (Old pics)

Been messing with plates for a while, made the decision to send it off to Langdon finally. Saw one in person recently with a RMR HD and I instantly knew it was time.

I have a RMR HD, Holosun 507 comp, tan RMR, and a Holosun 507c ACSS to try out once it comes back from machining.

What’s your go to optic for these berettas?

I think this was a steal looks to be good condition besides holster wear, its in .40 S&W which isn’t ideal but i’m okay with that, going to maybe send it to Langdon Tactical.

Another 9mm would be redundant

Seriously always wanted to own a Beretta. I have too many solid 9mm pistols, another one would be overkill even though the 92 is a great shooter.

So anyway picked up an FDE 80x tactical. 100 rounds down so far it’s awesome!

Now the question what suppressor should I go with? 🤔

Beretta compensator compatability

• Upvotes

I have an M9 beretta with a threaded barrel, I just wanted to check and make sure that if I bought the beretta 92fs compensator there wouldn't be any issues with fit (at least that anyone knows of)

I would assume that there shouldn't be an issue with installation, but id rather be sure before dropping that much on it

80X Trigger question

• Upvotes

I had the opportunity to try a 80X recently. I'm generally a beretta fangirl, currently owning a CX4, S20, U22 Neos, with a 92XI on the way, and an 84bb and 1301 on the list. The 80X was on the list until this past weekend when I got a chance to play with it.

Overall, on par for what Id' expect from a Beretta: well made, feels nice in the hand if a bit small, largely smooth operation... except the trigger? It felt... rusty, almost. Very uneven resistance along both SA and DA pulls, with a textured, almost crunchy feel.

Is that normal for an 80X? Or was I using a dud?

My take on the Ghost. I replaced all black parts with nickel plated parts. This is a flat shooter and a very comfortable one as well. Made in Italy.

Happy coincidence or by design? With the Beretta optic height front sight and the gutter sight built in to the rear the Romeo perfectly co-witness. No rear sight modifications necessary. I like the wrap around grips much more than the Vertec straight style.

Question about 92X Performance Trigger

Hi.
Trying out different firearms, before purchasing, is not viable where I live.

I have a 1911 in 9mm which I very much enjoy using.
I didn't appreciate all of the fuss about the 1911's trigger until I tried a Glock style CZ.
The trigger on the CZ was very foreign to what I had become accustomed to and I really didn't take to it.
Specifically, the take up and first shot just felt strange to me (I don't have extensive experience with different pistols).

I've been interested in the 92X Performance for quite some time. From the little bit I know, I'm assuming the trigger (in single action) will feel much closer to the 1911 than the CZ?

Is there anything I should be aware of?

Thanks.

Which comp for a 92 Centurion?

I have had my 92GTS Centurion for about 3 years and I have decided to stop leaving well enough alone. I would like to add a compensator. I'm not currently considering a PMM comp, because I would like the barrel to be able to be removed without a vise and torch. In the future I'd like to be able to shoot this suppressed.
I'm currently weighing these options:

  • Beretta threaded barrel and Volker comp - The overall cheapest and probably fairly lightweight. Allegedly easy to remove
  • Beretta threaded barrel and Beretta/Toni comp plus full-length guide rod - I've heard the performance described as disappointing, but the guide rod indexing does sound nice.
  • Jarvis comp install with the full new barrel fitment package- 440 smackers is a lot and it involves mailing my gun off, but it's only about 80 bucks more than getting a Beretta branded comp and barrel, plus it comes with complimentary custom fitment.

I'm curious but concerned about

  • Jarvis comp with .575-40 threads on the original barrel- the GTS centurion only has about 3 mm of barrel protruding from the slide for Jarvis to thread.
  • Jarvis dual port comps- Is it going to be goofy on a centurion, even if I'm not going to try and conceal the thing.
  • Beretta threaded barrel plus Toni Major Power Factor comp and full-length guide rod- I've heard fairly little about this compensator actually, other than it being more aggressive than the normal Beretta compensator.

Decided on the 92FS as my first purchase! I’m very happy with it.

Beretta 92 centurion

This one has no rail and is 9mm, a friend doesn't want it anymore and is trying to get money together for an DD with a suppressor, and a short barrel shotgun while he can.

I can afford it at 700, any reason to not get it other than no rail or optic cut, both of which I don't care about.

Pros or Cons

TIA

Will do some kind of write up at some point.

Besides the hardware (!!!), the differences seem quite small…

If you bought a second gun to complement the 92fs, what would it be ?

I have a 92fs that I shoot alot. Id say 500 rounds a week.

Was thinking of getting a second habdgun to reduce wear on the fs, and a more compact option to potentially concealed carry

I am thinking of picking up either a px4, apx, 80xcheetah,or a cz 09 or cz nocturne to complement the fs.

LTT and blackbeard both offer custom work on the apx and px4, but I've heard bad things about the apx.

Im leaning towards the cz nocturne. Thoughts?

Used M9 worth it?

I have a friend selling me his used M9 under 500 rounds for $500. Was wondering if this is a good deal or not.
