Really struggling to sell my car

Hi All,

Any tips or recommendations for selling my 2017 Bentayga W12? It has 59,621 miles. Looks flawless. I’ve tried selling locally and can’t get any interest outside of dealerships who offer $45k. That can’t possibly be the market for these, is it?? Msrp was $260k per the window sticker.
Located in California if that helps.

Help with Replacement Bumper for Supersports

I am the lucky dope from this post - https://www.reddit.com/r/Bentley/comments/1x2vq4c/im_the_smartest_or_the_dumbest_man_on_this/

The car needs a replacement rear bumper and not really anything else other than a ton of servicing.

Scuderia shows three bumpers for the Supersports,

13 3W8807417AL cover for bumper $6,343.28

13 3W8807417AM cover for bumper $6,343.28

13 3W8807417AP cover for bumper $2,950.76

From my exhausting research on ChatGPT, it appears that AL is Non-US so it doesn't have side lights, AM is the US version and that AP is for the non-US with a back up camera. Can Someone here confirm? I would love to save $3,300 on the AP if it fits.

Does someone know where I can by the workshop manual for this car? This is a US import with the W12 motor.

How are these going so cheap now?

Is it fuel, the UK economy or something else? Realistically, on a model like this, what are my running costs going to be for the year?

Title: Luxury Car Enthusiasts & Owners – Interested in Getting Paid to Evaluate Dealership Experiences?

Hey everyone!

I'm Jan from Shoppers Confidential, and I'm looking for individuals who might be interested in completing paid mystery shopping assignments at luxury and exotic car dealerships across the United States.

What is mystery shopping?

Mystery shopping is a way for businesses to evaluate and improve their customer service through real-life customer experiences. As a mystery shopper, you'll visit a dealership as a regular customer, interact with the sales team, and provide honest, detailed feedback about your experience.

The goal is to help dealerships identify areas for improvement, recognize excellent service, and ultimately provide a better experience for their customers.

What's involved?

We have assignments involving luxury and exotic car dealerships, including Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley, and Aston Martin, depending on location and availability.

Depending on the assignment, you may be asked to:

  • Submit an online inquiry about a specific vehicle.
  • Schedule and attend a dealership appointment.
  • Interact with a salesperson while presenting yourself as a genuine potential buyer.
  • Evaluate the salesperson's product knowledge, professionalism, and overall customer experience.
  • Complete an online survey providing honest feedback about your visit.

Who would be a good fit?

You don't need to own a luxury or exotic car to participate, but you should have a good understanding of these vehicles and be able to confidently present yourself as a potential buyer.

This opportunity may be particularly interesting for current luxury or exotic car owners and enthusiasts who have firsthand experience with these brands and would like to contribute to improving the dealership experience.

If you've ever visited a luxury dealership and thought about what could have been done better, this is an opportunity to share that perspective in a structured and meaningful way.

We're looking for individuals who are comfortable discussing these vehicles, interacting naturally with sales professionals, and providing thoughtful, objective feedback.

Certain assignments have specific age and eligibility requirements.

Is this paid?

Yes! These are paid assignments, with compensation varying by dealership, location, and requirements. Some locations also offer boosted pay.

Interested?

Feel free to comment your city and state below or send me a private message. I'll be happy to check whether we have any available opportunities near you and share more details.

Whether you're a current luxury car owner, a longtime enthusiast, or someone knowledgeable about these vehicles, I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks, everyone!

Would you keep a 2020 Bentayga V8 over a 2023 Range Rover First Edition?

I own both and need to sell one, but I’m having a hard time deciding.
The Bentley is a 2020 Bentayga V8, 100-year anniversary edition, with around 48,500 miles. The Range Rover is a 2023 full-size First Edition V8 with around 67,000 miles, rear entertainment, and reclining rear seating. Both are paid off.
The Range Rover has the newer interior, but the Bentley feels more special to me. I don’t see as many around, and I feel like I might regret selling it. I also already have two newer Range Rovers on lease, so keeping the Bentley would give me something different.
For those who own or have owned a Bentayga, would you keep it over the Range Rover? How has your ownership experience been as the miles go up? Looking for honest opinions, including reasons you would sell the Bentley.

Just a regular dude who wants to own a Bentley someday. What would you recommend?

What’s up everyone!
I’m just a regular, hardworking dude who has always dreamed of owning a Bentley. I’m not rich, don’t come from money, and I’m not trying to impress anybody. I just genuinely love these cars and would love to own one someday.
I’m looking at getting one strictly as a Sunday car. Something I can take out on weekends, enjoy a nice drive, and keep in the garage the rest of the week. It wouldn’t be my daily driver.
I know Bentleys aren’t cheap to maintain, even when you buy them used. I’m not expecting Toyota reliability or maintenance costs, lol.
I have a few genuine questions for current and former owners:
What’s the best used Bentley for a regular guy to get into? Continental GT, Flying Spur, or something else?
What’s the sweet spot for model years? I’m looking for something that’s depreciated significantly but isn’t going to be a complete nightmare.
How do you “hack” Bentley ownership? Meaning buying smart, avoiding massive depreciation, finding independent mechanics, sourcing parts, and keeping ownership costs reasonable.
How much should I realistically budget annually for maintenance if I’m only driving it 2,000–4,000 miles a year?
Are there certain engines, years, or models I should absolutely avoid?
Would you recommend buying one outright or financing a newer example?
If you were starting over, knowing everything you know now, which Bentley would you buy?
I’m not looking to pretend I’m wealthy or put myself in a terrible financial position just to have a badge in the driveway. I want to work toward owning one responsibly and enjoy the experience.
I’d especially love to hear from owners who aren’t millionaires and figured out how to make Bentley ownership work without breaking the bank.
Appreciate any advice, experiences, or reality checks!

***Update***

Car showed up, and is in great shape, no difference in gaps what so ever (2.53 MM on the driver side and 2.56 on the pass side) which must just be bad angels on the pictures. Taillights, all wiring, every bracket, PDCs, side lights and cracked bumper are in the car so I saved a ton of money. Car drives fine and I am digging in today to see everything I need. Bumper bars are the exact same length and the only dent is right above the right hand side large cut out on the bumper bar. Seems completely cosmetic, even the trunk opens and closes as it should.

Car was at a body shop because there is a ton of righting on the bumper like they were going to try and save it. Interior is mint and there is what looks like a $20K sound system in the car.

So help me count all my chickens before they hatch and create a post that will come back to bite me right in the ass.

I have been looking for a 2011 Supersports with rear seats in this color for a bit. found this beauty at Copart in GA and won the bid at $21K. if it has frame damage I just learned a valuable and expensive lesson. if not, I have a great DD for about $30K.
