Adding this one to my collection: the Singapore $20 polymer commemorating 40 years of the Currency Interchangeability Agreement between Singapore and Brunei (1967-2007).
The front has Yusof bin Ishak, Singapore's first president, with an orchid beside him. The back is my favorite part: Singapore's skyline and the Esplanade on one side, Brunei's landmark mosque on the other, joined by a "Forty Years" ribbon in the middle. The polymer window with the coat of arms and the ghost portrait make it a great one to hold.
Does anyone else collect commemoratives or polymer notes? I'd love to hear which Southeast Asian notes you'd recommend next.

I randomly remembered I had this commemorative Kuwaiti dinar and thought I’d share it here! It’s something that holds a lot of sentimental value to me. My family was personally gifted it by Kuwait’s ruler at the time, right when it was issued and before it was even made available to the public. It was eventually passed down to me, and I still have the original commemorative envelope it came with.
It’s a 1 Kuwaiti dinar note issued in 1993, two years after Kuwait’s liberation from the Iraqi occupation in 1991.
My absolute favorite part is that it features the names of the countries that helped liberate Kuwait, written in both Arabic and English.
These include the United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Italy, Australia, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Greece, Norway, Denmark, New Zealand, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic and Slovakia), Argentina, Honduras, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Morocco, Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Senegal, Niger, Philippines, Japan, and Kuwait itself.
The original commemorative envelope also features a message from the Central Bank of Kuwait in both Arabic and English, expressing gratitude to the countries that supported Kuwait’s liberation while remembering those who suffered during the occupation. I think it’s such a nice touch, and I love that they chose to recognize all these countries on an actual banknote.
Anyway, thought you guys might find it cool!

Hello,
I am a student and as part of my major work project I am going to create a folio on a new type of banknote display. Where I live there aren’t many collectors to do a survey so I would like to ask you to complete my survey
Everything is completely anonymous and takes less than a minute
Any response is greatly appreciated
