This afternoon I was getting back into my walking routine after traveling for the okyuji with Band-Maid playing in my ears of course. They help me keep my pace up so the ol' ticker keeps ticking. But more importantly Band-Maid brings me joy. Last Friday after arriving in Dallas in afternoon traffic and facing other challenges I was not in the best of moods. But it all melted away as soon as the Maids began to play. I just witnessed three fantastic shows at Dallas, LA, and Phoenix. I had a great time chatting with other fans in line and experiencing the joyful atmosphere. Maidiacs are the best! Sidebar, a superfan named Curtis handed out some great bottle openers which he made himself to the folks in the Phoenix line. I admired mine and slipped it into my back pocket. Today I hear a great thumping coming from my clothes dryer. Yep, left it in my pocket, but I rescued it, I think even the paper card survived. Thanks again, Curtis! Thank you, Band-Maid and all the wonderful fans!

I was at the Phoenix airport (still am) getting pushed in a wheelchair (I have PD) through the huge crowd. I looked up and there they were, like 12 inches away, waiting in a line, looking at 7:00 am like the glamorous rock stars they are. Miku saw my Band-Maid shirt, smiled and waved, pointed to her own shirt, nudged the others, and gave me a "well, aren''t you lucky?" smile. As I rolled past they all smiled and waved. The chair turned and rolled around them on the other side; I opened my mouth to say something in Japanese, and my mouth just stayed open lol. Total fail. I didn't want to make a scene, so I didn't bug them for a picture or anything, I just grinned like an idiot and turned beet red. The airline guy pushing the chair was mystified, said who are they? I managed to say "the best rock band in the world" loud enough for them all to hear me, and I got another smile from everybody. Then I rolled away. Man, I was having a rough morning, but now I'm not feeling a thing 😀

A moment with kobatomiku right before the BAND-MAID sold out show at the Wiltern on 10/12/2026. Thank you to Miku and the Band Maid crew for making this happen.

It has been three years since the band came to the US🇺🇸it will be burned into our memory, seeing her unleash the thrill from the starry pigeons🕊️🕊️🕊️

The surprise appearance by Michael Einziger was super sick.

One more US show to go in Arizona tonight, then Mexico to excite their fans🇲🇽

Go Miku!

Legendary and iconic Budokan is waiting for you next month in Tokyo🔥🔥🔥
