Hey everyone, I've owned the N160 single seat 2025 variant for awhile now ( 10k+ kms), and one thing I've noticed is a burning rubber type of smell after high speed rides, for ex I was cruising on the highway today around 80-90km/h and hit a top of around 103 for a few mins, total ride was maybe 40kms tops, I came home and I could smell burning rubber from around the engine, but there have been no damaged parts around (i checked).

All three free services were done on time no other issues otherwise. Please advice on what could be the issue

I need help in deciding which colour to choose for ns400z. As i m confused with red and grey..

Can anyone suggest which one will be better..

Guys i need suggestion should i use castrol power 1 ultimate 20w50 or Motul 7100 20w 50 for My n160 for longer engine life??

I own a Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, and my bike insurance is expiring tomorrow. I want to renew it with good coverage rather than simply choosing the cheapest policy.

My priorities are:

Good coverage for accidental damage and theft.

Zero depreciation cover, if available and worth the price.

Engine protection and roadside assistance.

A good cashless garage network, preferably including authorised Bajaj service centres.

A smooth and reliable claim settlement process.

So around 10-15 days ago , my RS200 showed a check engine light after it got drenched in the rain for like 15-20 mins , and it was missing a bit in low rpms but that is normal due to the pour or so I thought because it has been missing for like 2-3 months

Only like 2-3 days and I take it to the service centre and these bajaj a\*\*holes keep it for day as it was crowded and was told to collect it next day , the next day technician didn't come , after that Sunday so their day was off , Monday they say battery is dead and we don't have it so please bring a battery without that we can't do anything

So I arrive with a battery of 12v 9ah and the service began , but these fools , they say that my bike doesn't have a fuel filter so can't change it ( i asked for it to be changed to resolve miss problem) , the check light they ran and didn't tell any code just that it's showing , just said that it's showing description not found , and they say that ecu might be faulty and it'll need to be changed ( around 5k but I refused )

Also that uneducated worker was constantly and unnecessarily revving thr shit out of the bike didn't even let it cold start after it sat for 3 days and even after saying not to do so , he said that's how bikes are fixed

Asked for a coolant change and they filled some knockoff coolant not even mentioned in the bill by name just outsource job , the mechanic was so shitty , left out 3-5 bolts and when I inspected only then did he install new ones , all this while I had been told 5-7 times to sit down and not be near my bike but I knew this shit would happen

At last I cursed bajaj and myself for bringing the bike to this shitty ASC and left after paying 1600 that includes 600 for labour , 500 for parts , 500 for general service and rest taxes

Today they call me and ask how my bike is running and after I complain they say to bring it in again , and after I said that it'll incur further charges , they said that they won't charge for labour just for the parts

I'm hell bent on not giving my bike to them again but some part of me wants to talk to a manager in there and give him a piece of my mind ( the whole showroom is under no recording policy , it's written on every corner ) , hence I can't record this incident and post on X

All this and yet my bike still misses in the low rpms and the check light still there , planning to visit 2 different ASC tomorrow and ask them to resolve the problem

the thing i am noticing in my ns200 its new only 5 months old thats all its 1270 km drove the noise i am getting is lightly like chain sound when i block exhaust and check sound i cant able to notice you can check noise i am worried from 3 months this sound occurs after 10 km ride or high rpm rides i went around 10-15 km so its both lower rpm at beginning after higher rpm okay see this is the sound check this out and tell where its coming or its normal but definitely i am worried too much its my dream bike too check this and tell me guys whats the problem

Which engine oil will be best for my n160 so that i can have a long engine life and i dont much care about the mileage

Dominar 400 zero km e já com problema no ABS. Mais alguém passou por isso?

Comprei minha Dominar 400 no dia 27/09/2026 e fui retirar a moto no dia 10/10/2026.

A primeira decepção foi logo na entrega. A moto ainda não estava emplacada, então tive que aguardar mais 3 dias para conseguir andar com ela.

Mas o que eu mais temia acabou acontecendo. Logo no primeiro dia de uso, a moto já apresentou problema. A luz do ABS simplesmente não apaga e fica acesa o tempo todo.

Confesso que fiquei bem chateado, porque uma das coisas que eu mais queria evitar ao comprar uma moto zero km era justamente ter que deixar ela na oficina logo nos primeiros dias.

A gente compra uma moto nova esperando ter tranquilidade, sem precisar se preocupar com problemas mecânicos tão cedo. E aí, logo de cara, acontece isso.

Agora é deixar a moto na concessionária e torcer para que resolvam o problema o mais rápido possível.

Sei que problemas podem acontecer com qualquer marca, mas não deixa de ser frustrante. Você fica naquela expectativa de pegar a moto nova, aproveitar a conquista, e acaba tomando um banho de água fria.

Queria saber de vocês que também compraram uma Bajaj: alguém passou por algo parecido logo nos primeiros dias? Como foi a experiência com a garantia e a concessionária? Resolveram rápido?

Espero que seja apenas um problema pontual, porque gostei muito da moto. Só não esperava começar minha experiência com a marca dessa forma.

My routine is changing drastically, and I need a quick sanity check. I own a 2016 Bajaj Avenger Street 220 (~17,400 km total, RC valid till 2032).

My New Routine (~16,000 km/year):

* Daily Commute: 45 km daily (6 days/week) in mixed highway and heavy stop-and-go city traffic.

* Weekend Rides: 1 to 2 Sunday trips a month (100 km max). I likely won't do massive tours (like my past Kullu-Manali/Delhi trips) anymore.

* Riding Style: Mostly solo, cruising between 50–70 kmph.

The Dilemma:

* Keep the Avenger: I get 32–35 kmpl. It lacks the refinement of newer models and vibrates at 65–70 kmph, but I love the cruiser comfort, solo pickup, handling, and highway stability.

* Swap for a 110cc Commuter: Showroom offers a low ₹20,000 exchange. I must pay ₹65,000 out-of-pocket for a 65+ kmpl bike.

The Math:

The commuter saves me ₹23,000 annually in petrol, recovering the ₹65k cost in 2.8 years.

My Question:

The math favors selling, but will a basic 110cc bike completely ruin my daily comfort and weekend rides compared to the Avenger? Is it worth sacrificing this level of ride quality to save ₹1,900 a month?

Looking for advice from daily commuters!

My n160 2025 is 1 year few months old,I had my 4th paid service due on September 13th,I had completed my 1st three free services right on time and within the km run mentioned in their manual but due to family emergency, i failed to meet their 4th service due date norms,will they void my warranty? I am really worried as it is more than a month now,has anyone experienced this before or has knowledge about this scenario, if yes please suggest will they void my warranty?

Is there anyway I can do anything to still save my warranty?

I bought the top variant of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 about 6 months ago, and I’ve recently seen the new speedometer display on the latest model. It looks pretty impressive!

Does anyone know if it’s possible to replace the old instrument cluster with the new one? Would it be a direct fit, or would it require wiring changes or other modifications?

Has anyone tried this upgrade, or have any idea whether it’s compatible with the older N160?
