Online course workload

I got accepted into the HR certificate program & notice most of it is online & have a few questions for anyone that has gone through the program or taken online courses in general:

How is it delivered? Do instructors record lectures then upload & you can download to listen / watch then do assignments or is it more reading material + assignments?

How intense are these courses? I was thinking of taking 4 (BUSA2005, HRMG3105, COMM1103 & FMGT1152) to start but can trim it to 3 if it is crazy intense (or bump it to 5 if its light) I am in between jobs so figured I would attempt to get as many done thats reasonable. I have been out of school for 15 years so don't want to over do it at first either.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Looking to buy Byrd and Chen Tax Principles, any year for really cheap. You can dump your old books on me for spending money. I just want some for casual reading, not classes.

Edit - Forgot to clarify, I'm looking for physical version

Hi, I was wondering if anyone in Bachelors of Applied Computer Science show an example of how their course schedule looks like. Will be an upcoming first year this Jan.

What do BCIT students ACTUALLY want from employers?

Hi everyone!

Your responses will directly influence recommendations we're making to Enterprise Mobility on how they recruit university students, so this is a chance to have your voice reflected to a real company.

Our results are currently skewed to UBC. We're looking for responses from students across BC, regardless of your faculty or whether you're currently job hunting.

The survey takes a few minutes, and every response helps us build recommendations that better reflect what students actually want from employers.

Looking for Student AI developer, remote, flexible hours students into agentic coding

I run a small agency (around $15k/mo USD) that gets local businesses showing up on Google and in AI answers like ChatGPT and Perplexity. most of the work runs on agents i built with Claude Code /Codex : research, writing, publishing and reporting, backlinking etc.

I'm hiring one person to build with me.

what you'd actually do:

- build and run AI GEO/AEO authority sites for clients

- improve the agent pipelines that handle research, writing and QA

- track which pages get cited by AI and fix the ones that don't

What i'm looking for:

- you've built real things with agentic coding (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, whatever) if so show me

- you know SEO or AEO/GEO, or you're obsessed with learning it

- you can work on your own and ship without hand-holding

what you get:

- fully remote, you set your own hours

- a paid trial project first, so we both know it's a fit

- Payment structure will be talked about on call (DM ME)

No degree or years of experience needed.

A portfolio counts for way more. i'm in my early 20s and building this from scratch, so you'd be early. to apply, DM me what you've built with one link. i reply to every DM. also curious: anyone here running agent setups for SEO work? what's your stack?
