Ballot not delivered
Yesterday USPS Informed Delivery showed that my election ballot should be in my mailbox. There was no election ballot in my mail box. Has anyone else seen this

I don’t live in Vancouver, WA so this may seem stupid but have been looking at a lot of satellite images on Google Maps / Earth and it looks like all the grass and everything else on the ground is brown even in different vintages of imagery.
Is there a large part of the year when this is the case?
I used to live in northern Arizona and there was a lot of natural grassland up there that’s just naturally brown basically all the time. However, the bushes and trees are not, and what lawns existed were green.

Hi everyone 👋
I’ve only lived in the area for like two months but so far, I haven’t been to the mall. Before I moved here, I read some older Reddit posts that said that that the mall should be avoided or it’s not safe but I’ve also had family members tell me they go there. So I guess I’m just wondering, do I really need to keep avoiding the mall or can I(a female in her late 20’s) go to the mall and can I go by myself just to shop? I hope this doesn’t sound silly, I’m just not sure if I’ve scared myself with old Reddit posts about it.

I’m 19M. I’ve lived here my whole life and I had a couple friends at school and a few at my last job. I’m not in touch with these people anymore because I have a hard time keeping and making friends since I’m pretty awkward. No one at my current job is anybody I’d get along with outside of work.
I go to parks sometimes but I never see anybody that I could go up to since people typically go to parks with their friends, too. I don’t drink or smoke.
I enjoy playing video games and going outside the most, but I’d like friends I could do anything with.
Any recommendations for what to do? I’d like to make some genuine, real friends.

We are hoping to move to the area soon to be closer to family. I know it’s difficult timing to be buying, but we are considering it. Fishers Landing East is an area we are interested in and they’re zoned for Evergreen district. Our children are very young, so it isn’t something that will affect us right now, but we are looking ahead to school years.
Would you recommend this area for schools in Evergreen, or should we hold out and hope for a home in Camas district?

Does Vancouver absorb any of the alternative culture from Portland?
Do any of the neighboring towns in WA (Woodland, Ridgefield, Kalama, etc.) have a liberal-ish, hippie sort of vibe to them or are they just more conservative small towns?

Title says it, I am a trans woman in a rural town of 4k people and am relocating on Friday. Willing to roll the dice to escape my current environment, urgently in need of housing-- can pay a few months ahead of time, none of the places I've applied to will work with me as an out of towner.

For all my lawn gurus in Vancouver. What are you guys using for your lawns? First season with in our new home and just did a minor lawn renovation and over-seed. I want to stay on track with best products and chemicals to achieve a healthy weed free lawn yearlong.
Recommendations?
Thank you!

I have literally sat at this light for good 3-5 minutes for it to turn green when there's virtually no traffic. Also, once it is green, this has got to be the shortest green light ever. I've never made it through without seeing it go yellow.
What's the deal with this spot?
Update: WSDOT confirmed something was off and that they just adjusted it. When I noticed it, there was another car in the other lane. I know it's not psychological perception. After about two minutes, I took note of the time. Three minutes have advanced before it finally turned green.

Hi I’m looking for an apartment complex in Vancouver, Washington / Camas with good sound insulation. I’m in a bad situation where I hear my neighbors all around me and I’m on the top floor. It’s really affecting me badly. If anyone can relate I would really appreciate you pointing me to a better complex Thank you!

What happened to pastor Josh Porter? Saw he is no longer on staff. I am not anywhere near Vancouver WA but followed him from afar. Would appreciate anything anyone could share.
