Does anyone know what this could be? I have been experiencing this problem for the past 3–4 months. It happened before, and I went to the hospital and had several blood tests done, but nothing unusual was found. The doctor said it might be some kind of infection. It usually gets better on its own, but then it comes back again.
I want to clarify one thing: I have never had sex or even kissed anyone, so I don’t think this could have come from a sexually transmitted disease. However, I used to work in Germany cutting sea fish, and sometimes fish bones or sharp objects would injure my hands and cause wounds. I’m wondering if something could have entered my body through those wounds.
I am really scared and worried about what is happening to me. I was living in Germany before, and I got medical checkups there as well. The doctors did blood tests and told me that everything looked normal and that there was nothing to worry about.
Now I have returned to Nepal, and similar symptoms have started appearing on my hands too. The affected areas look similar to the pictures I have shared, but they don’t look like the typical sores that appear on the lips.
I have now visited a hospital in Nepal and have given samples for testing. The doctors are checking for herpes just to be sure, along with other possible infections and viruses. The results are expected in 3–4 days, and I am extremely anxious about what they might show.
Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what this could be? I would really appreciate hearing about your experiences or any helpful advice. I’m very scared right now and just want to understand what might be happening.

25 Y/O female with eating disorder (purging) and mental health history. 76.8kg, 163cm and take fluoxetine, Vyvanse, propanolol and clonidine daily. Blood results?

My GP is monitoring my ED. I’ve put dates next to the results.
Usually the clinic would send me a text to say I don’t need any follow up, but the most recent one, they wanted me to book in for a phone appointment to discuss my results, so I assumed something had come back abnormal?
My regular doctor wasn’t available to talk to, so I ended up speaking with another doctor, however she just told me all my results are normal.
I know they’re all within the reference ranges here, but that doctor doesn’t know the extent of my purging, laxative use recently and exercise, as well as my high water intake. I felt like I couldn’t tell her over the phone and my anxiety was way too high, I just felt stupid.
I don’t have any other appointments booked at this time. I’ve continued with my behaviours.
Do my results look okay? Sorry to waste anyone’s time if it’s all good.

Small lump on right ribcage it’s red because I won’t stop touching it it’s normally just a lump under the skin it’s a normal color. Found it a week ago. I guess it kind of like a pea under the skin kind of hard. Doesn’t exactly move. Am I overthinking? Could it’s be something bad?

(25m) So I’m a chronic strep throat person I’ve had strep every other week or month for 2 years now. I got a tonsillectomy earlier this year and thought the ear was over. I was wrong in September 1st I got it again and I don’t get better with antibiotics (sometimes I do) I’ve had strep for the last 2 months I’ve taken augmentin,Clindamycin, cefdinir and I’m here again. I feel a tad bit better sometimes during but then at the end I feel it all coming again. The only weird thing about my situation is my cultures never comes back positive. I take rapids test and most of the time they are positive. This is very important bc that makes it so my cultures can’t tell me if any certain antibiotics is prone to it. The thing is though I feel all the symptoms of strep like full blown. Except for a fever, I get sore throat, ear each, neck pain, body aches, sinus pressure, and headaches. I was looking if anyone ever has had my problem as I am feeling helpless and don’t wanna keep taking antibiotics if I don’t have a true active infection and I’m just a carrier. If anyone has any help or suggestions I would truly appreciate it. God bless you

For context, I am a pollotarian and have been for the last 9 years. My iron intake is pretty low; I track my food daily and have an average of 6mg a day over the last month. I was fasting when I took this test. Why would my saturation and overall levels be high?

I cut my thumb with a knife. It looks like it has stopped bleeding now, the white stuff was a tissue I had on hand to press down on it and slow bleeding. Do you think there’s a need for stitches here or should I just clean it and put a bandaid over it?

It was bleeding for a bit over 20 mins and definitely hurt/is a bit numb.

21 Year old Female

On August 31st of this year, I was standing outside a bar with some friends (was not drunk, maybe had 2 beers over 4 hours and lots of food), and passed out completely. I had a siezure and slammed my face into the concret, busted up my lip, face, and teeth. I was rushed to the hospital where they gave me stitches, told me I didn't suffer a concussion and that my CT scan was clear, and gave me some ointment for my face.

I was discharged, went home, and proceeded weith life as normal. I went out with my friends, resumed drinking and smoking weed, etc. 10 days late, I developed a slight headache. Nothing major, so I thought I must be dehydrated. I had a trip planned to San Francisco and went, my boyfriend and I drank heavily the whole weekend, which made my head hurt a lot, but I wasn't gonna waste the weekend in San Francisco, I wanted to go out!

When I got back on monday, the headache was just getting worse. I went into the ER and discovered two small subdural hematomas, which had been slowly developing over the 2 weeks post-fall.

They resolved on their own, I just got my brain scan back yesterday and it looks perfect according to my neurologist, no blood, she says I have recovered from the bleed. However, she also says i suffered a concussion, and to avoid alcohol for the 3-4 months.

My question is, what are the consequences of that?? Besides a bit of brain fog here and there (which I had before) I feel just fine, and if the initial concussion was on the 31st, they told me i didnt have one. I havent hit my head any other time, and I was already drinking very heavily after the initial fall.

Have I fucked everything up by drinking that weekend?? Did I do any damage to my brain?? What wold happen if I did drink? What are the consequences?

She went on a rant about how alcohol is bad for everyone, but I just wanna know if I fucked everything up in San Francisco, or what would happen if i did drink. Will I ever be able to drink again? I miss being a 21 year old girl and going out with my friends. I loved going out and I can't imagine never being able to again. Please tell me there is light at the end of this tunnel. AM i alcohol free forever? I miss it.

My mother faced some pain in her chest, with palpitations, weakness on the night of 5th October. Ever since she has high pulse and BP rate. We consulated a physician who suggested for Echo. Now he says she needs to have a surgery. Can anybody please read these stats and help me get a better, clear picture of the issue. She has had a period of stress both physical and mental. Would she require a surgery or medicine be enough to take care of this. Please help. Thanks
