I don't get this at all. To me, it seems obvious that Obama won, and Hillary and Harris didn't, because he ran stronger campaigns than they did, not because voters are more open to electing a black man as President than a woman, white or black. Do a lot of Democrats sincerely believe that their campaigns were as effective as his was?

No woman has ever won a USA Presidential election, based on the electoral votes. Do you think she would win against a male or female Republican candidate of the same or similar philosophy as our present Republican political figures?
This is NOT pot stirring, ranting, or agenda posting. It is a real question and a situation which we may actually be facing at election time. I have read that a woman is under consideration. At any less potentially disastrous time in our history, I would have cheered this. However, tRump's misogynistic, clearly outspoken views about women are a strong indicator that there are still (somehow) people who would not support a female candidate. Please don't tell me that the presidential election is "too far in the future to worry about it". The Republicans, for all I disagree with them, obviously plan further into the future than the Dems, and that seems to be paying off for them. This is NOT the time to nominate a candidate, however wonderful, who is so unlikely to win.
If a female candidate, a Democrat, is nominated, Democrats must face REALITY of the fact that at this time, as in the distant and more recent past, she would be even less likely to win electoral votes, in my opinion, due to the increase in misogynistic views expressed by some of our legislators and their sexist supporters. These are NOT good times for women and we need to face that.

In the video, conservative operative Tommy leaves unmolested. No one accosts him, there’s no chants to “lock him up” or terrible things said about him. Instead, he’s heard and respected. Compare that to how liberals/progressives are treated at Republican rallies where speakers encourage the crowd or police to physically assault the person, and they do.
Cynics like to say there’s no real difference between Republicans and Democrats. Doesn’t this comparison prove that sentiment wrong?

Wisconsin is so purple that even a few votes per ward can tip the state. Every single vote counts! Lots of ways to help all around the state:
