Hello! I just moved to Atlanta, and I am trying to find a dentist. I am in Decatur so preferably around there would be great, but I am open to seeing anyone in the Atlanta area. I am having some concerns about my teeth, and I want someone who will take their time to hear my concerns and point me in the right direction. If anyone can please recommend a dentist that ideally takes Cigna insurance I would appreciate it!

Hi! Just moved here, what are your favorite things to do in this Atlanta neighborhood? Any traditions or fun activities that happen around the holiday time? I’m trying to not have to drive too much to do fun things and meet people that live close by. Thanks!

I've been handing more and more of my life to AI agents, from coding to errands to random side projects, and I'm curious who else around here is into it. What's the coolest thing yours has done for you? And are there any local spots or groups where people nerd out about this?

Coming up from Orlando to go to a concert Sunday evening at State Farm Arena. Want to hit Little Five Points to grab a bite to eat and walk around. My question is… would it be better to catch the Marta to SFA or park at the arena?

Hi, I haven’t been here since I was a kid, I wanted to go back but over the years I have heard that they don’t treat the animals well and it was overall depressing. I wanted to know if this was true before I give them any money.

My mom is new in town, recently divorced and is in her late 40s.

Other than hanging out with me she doesn’t go out much and I really need her to be apart of a community and make friends.

She’s into art (I’ve taken her to the High Museum), movies, trying new restaurants, live music, and generally open to new experiences.

Any recommendations? it could be a place, a group / club, a reoccurring event.

I'm in Sandy springs looking for a job and also would love to meet more of my kinda folks!! Bout lost depression battle recently and of course I spiraled but I got up hot help and moved to Atlanta to actually LIVE!!!!! So if some clean and sober folks have any suggestions please enlighten me!

Hey y’all, I’m currently in the southside of Atlanta near Forest Park, and I’m currently living in my car. I just wanted to see if anyone knows a safe place that I can park and sleep at tonight.

I have piles of clean laundry I need someone to come put away. Im in sw atlanta. Anyone know a service?

If you have gotten epidural steroidal injections in the Atlanta area and you’ve had a good experience at your facility, can you post it (and the cost, whether self-pay or not, if you’re comfortable sharing)?

I need this procedure for a herniated disc, and the facility my orthopedic PA referred me to is giving me a hard time about disclosing the cost of the procedure before I go. They also have no openings within a week and no afternoon appointments. I’d like to call around with my doctor’s order and try to get cost estimates and a sooner appointment. But I don’t know where to start. Thanks!

I (21F) am from Canada, Ontario province and my girlfriend (23F) lives somewhere close to Duluth ! Our monthsary is coming up soon and I've been wanting to send her a gift as soon as I can. Sending something from the postal office would probably take a while. Thought of UberEats, but decided i want to deliver something more thoughful and presentable. Are there any other services I can pay for something like this? Thinking of giving her a gift basket full of some of her favorite goods.

I can't do anything too grand at the moment as I am only working a part time job right now.

To my girlfriend if you're seeing this, no it's not me :')))

I'm graduating in May 2027 and looking for recommendations for restaurants or venues to have a party at in Atl? Would love if parking is easy as well

Right now I am thinking 50-75 guests

I have been looking to run a marathon (no prior exp or just urge like Barney Stinson to get up and run marathon). If anyone wants to sell their ticket for 1 person because they couldn't go, I would be more than happy to purchase it.

Thank you in advance, feel free to dm me.

Hi everyone!

My boyfriend and I are attending a wedding in Duluth on Sunday, November 1st, and we’re thinking about heading into Atlanta afterward, probably around 9–10 PM.

I’ll be pretty dressed up for the wedding, so I’d love to find somewhere with a nice atmosphere where we can grab some cocktails and take a few cute pictures!
Ideally looking for somewhere with a pretty interior, nice lighting, or city views.

I know it’s a Sunday, so I’m not sure what will actually be open that late. We’re open to pretty much anywhere in Atlanta!

Would love any recommendations! :)

Hi :) my dad is craving fried green tomatoes but hasn't had any luck with the restaurants he has tried. He doesn't want them with cheese on or inside of them. Need suggestions in the metro Atlanta area; we are close to downtown.

Hey everyone! What will you guys be doing for Halloween this year? I’m 25 and my friends and I are trying to see what and where are the best places to go to have fun. Just looking to drink and if possible walk to different locations.

Where would you all recommend to look online as far as events and buying tickets goes? Where would be the best place to go for bars with close proximity?

Hi everyone! I am visiting Atlanta next month for a few days with my brother before we head to Nashville for Thanksgiving weekend. We arrive in Atlanta on 23rd November and leave on 26th.

In terms of things to do, please could you recommend some places to eat, any sightseeing and daytime activities?

Then in the evening/nighttime we are looking to go out to some bars and clubs. Our music is hip/hop and R&B so any recommendations for these types of places for a good night out would be appreciated. Also, which neighbourhoods are best for these?

With us also being in Atlanta just before Thanksgiving, does it tend to be quieter in the days leading up to it? I've seen things about the night before Thanksgiving being a big party atmosphere in some places, but in other places it can be quite quiet.

Thanks all and looking forward to visiting next month!

Hi guys! I’m in Atlanta and was wondering if there are any Bathukamma celebrations or events happening around ATL. 🌼

Would love to join and celebrate with the Telugu community! Please let me know if you know of any upcoming events, locations, or WhatsApp groups where event details are shared.
Thank you! 😊

Hey there,
Thinking of making a WhatsApp group where people get to hangout based on hobbies and personal interests. Example going hiking tomorrow or dining out at so and so anyone wanna join etc. not like the whole group meets up.

Platonic or otherwise it don’t matter.

What do you guys think ?

TIA

Hey Atlanta! I’m a local comedian looking for a few businesses that wouldn’t mind letting me film some comedy skits at their locations.

I have a few ideas I’m trying to bring to life:
● Retail store: A funny skit about Gen Z employees. Very brand-friendly and should take about 15 minutes.
● Auto body shop: A slightly edgier comedy skit, but nothing too crazy. Would need about an hour.
● Restaurant: I have two different comedy concepts in mind and would be happy to share them.

I’m open to other locations too! If you own a business or have access to an interesting space, I’m always down to brainstorm a funny concept around it.

For context, I’ve been creating comedy content for a while, recently wrapped a comedy reality show, and have had several videos reach over a million views.

Happy to discuss a collaboration too. Mainly just trying to find some cool local spots to film and meet people who are open to creative projects.

If you know of anywhere or anyone I should reach out to, let me know!

The discount is only for some and the classes that do have a discount says it's for Fulton County residents but are they actually checking?

Hey everyone! 😊
I’m thinking of hiking Stone Mountain and thought it would be fun to go with a few people rather than go alone. Is anyone interested in joining me?
I’m open to meeting new people, enjoying the hike, and having a good time. If anyone’s interested, let me know, and we can plan a day and time!
Looking forward to meeting some fellow hiking enthusiasts! 🌄
