Other Should I open up a table?

Hey guys! So honestly Ive made this post to get some advice or some type of push in the right direction really. But Ive always been thinking about opening a small booth for cons or smaller event spaces, as ive always made stickers for the fun of it and Ive had people suggest it in the past.

Obviously these are just 3 designs of my stickers that I made for fun so their cuts aren't PERFECT but its a visual of my art and the idea. Id want to start off with smaller event spaces and obviously get to making prints as well, but I wanted to start with an Etsy shop, then a small pop up event table with prints + stickers, and later some keychains and other merch.

My question is: do you guys think my art is good enough for this decision? Should I keep working on it and brainstorm some more?

Honestly this post is mostly me seeking advice, and wanting a push in the right direction. Im not nearly as confident enough with how my art is, and I know artist alley may be competitive.

Although I do have fun making these and I always love when I hand these out to people and they light up, so regardless I know ill keep making more stickers and more art. I just thought id ask if it was a good idea to start a booth in the midst of it since im ahead.

Any comments or advice is appreciated<3

Thank you guys!

Supplier Question What’s the best manufacturer for lanyards?

I wanna say this is a little off-topic, but I’m going to ask this question in regards to one, seeing who could make a high-quality lanyard. Two, I am in need of a new lanyard and I really don’t feel like grabbing one at the mall because they’ll either be expensive or they won’t have the fandom that I want.

What’s the best manufacturer for custom lanyards?

[Discussion] Anybody have any experience with selling through consignment shops or markets in other EU countries?

Hi everyone!

I’m a small jewelry business owner based in Germany, and I’ve been thinking about expanding into other EU countries.
Since I’m a bit overwhelmed, I’m hoping some fellow artists, makers, or small business owners might be willing to share their experiences with me. :)

I have a connection to a lovely little shop in another EU country, and there’s a possibility of selling my handmade jewelry there on consignment. It’s something I’d really love to try, but I’m honestly feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the possible tax rules, paperwork, and legal requirements.
Since I’m still a very small business, I’m trying to figure out whether it’s actually realistic and financially worthwhile.

I wouldn’t need to ship anything, as I could bring my pieces to Latvia in person. But I’m not sure whether that makes things any easier legally.
I’m also really interested in eventually participating in art, design, or handmade markets in other European countries, so I’d love to hear about that too!

A few things I’m wondering about:
- Has anyone here sold their handmade products through a consignment shop in another EU country?
- Did you need to register your business in the other country, or could you operate through your existing business?
- Has anyone participated in occasional art or handmade markets abroad? How complicated was the paperwork?

I’m not necessarily looking for professional legal advice here (I know I’ll need to check the actual requirements), but I’d be so grateful to hear how other people have navigated this in real life.

I feel like there must be other small makers who have wondered about the same things, and I’d love to learn from your experiences before jumping into something I don’t fully understand.

Thank you so much in advance !!

Supplier Question What kind of printer should I get ?

Hello
I’m currently trying to start up an online shop and eventually table at artist alleys but I need a printer since I think it’d be easier than having to order certain items.
I’m looking to print stickers (especially ones with colored outlines), sticker sheets, and prints

What kind of printer would be able to print all of these or would I need two different printers for prints and stickers ?
