Project Design/Guidance Bicycle Helmet Mounted Camera Idea NSFW

NSFW because I'm under multiple influences.

I had the idea of making a 4K (-ish?) camera using Arduino boards then incorporating it into a vent cavity in my bicycle helmet.

HOWEVER, I want to encase the circuitry in air drying modeling clay or Bondo/other ply-able filler, recessed into a vent cavity so I can make a helmet cam that is more ergonomic and """""aero""""" than a 2-way-taped-with-a-bracket action cam.

Convince me not to? I feel in my heart of hearts that it would be baller and work like a dream but I only know enough to fuck around but not enough to know what I'll find out. Help me before I hurt my wallet.

Kthnxbye.

You're prob just gonna end up mangling a perfectly good bike helmet to jam all the bits in there. I'm thinking you are looking for something like this: https://capovelo.com/cyclevisions-edge-smart-helmet-features-front-rear-cameras/

Helmet is there to save your ass, if you just add in a load of parts without careful consideration your helmet wont work as well as it might if there wasn't some homebrew electronics project jammed in there.

I'm not gonna stop you tho have fun :)

What camera/ lenses would you use? If there are things that fit could be interesting.

But you don't want to compromise the crush factor and safety of your helmet- it keeps you alive.
