Financial Aid/Scholarships FAFSA vs CSS

What is the difference between the FAFSA and CSS? Do I submit both? I've already done the FAFSA. What does the CSS do?

Some schools use CSS.

CSS is a much much more in depth application that schools use to award institutional aid.

You’d need to check each school to see if they even require CSS for institutional aid.
