That's kinda why you're here right? 3x3's of your favourite's are fine by the way. As long as you're in some way recommending anime or asking for suggestions your post's going to be fine.
For example, you could promote an anime you like by telling us about it on a post, but you couldn't link a blog video or podcast about that anime. Comments are fine for this, but we don't want to see it on posts.
When it comes to things like anime, there can be a wide spectrum of views and discussions. Some discussions can become spirited, we know, but we still have the expectation for you to treat others with courtesy and respect.
Do not put comments to incite fights or trash talk anime. Just simply mention you do not like it.
It can be hard not to talk about your favourite scene, but remember this is a place where people come looking to learn about anime they haven't seen yet. So any spoilers you do say, must be marked as spoilers.
We get it, you like hentai too. If you start a Hentai recommendations sub, let us know, we might even send some members your way. Just don't post perverted images on here lol. If in doubt about whether something's indecent or not... it probably is, so don't post it - many thanks.
There are better suited subs for those
Hentai Recommendations are banned. Mention Ecchi in post title if you are looking for anime of such genre.

My partner & I have been getting into anime & would love some recommendations based on our tastes.
We loved all the studio ghibli movies, suzume & your name.
apothecary diaries - currently up to date / waiting for the dubbed episodes. we love the animation style, strong female lead, the mystery solving & plot building, the slow burn romance / humour. would love some similar shows
demon slayer
attack on titan
black clover
full metal (but i didn't get as attached, idk why)
toradora
currently watching frieren & find it very peaceful but kinda slow.
let me know what you think we'll like :)

Already watched:
Currently watching:
Watchlist:
Ranking Anime I’ve Watched:
1- Demon Slayer + Attack on Titan
2- Chainsaw Man
3- Death Note
4- Pokemon
5- FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
6- Spy x Family
7- Assassination Classroom
Anime I watched and didn’t like:
My Hero Acadamia (not into superhero stuff)
One Piece (sorry but its too long for me)
Here’s what I’m looking for. Please follow this EXACTLY:
What I LOVE A LOT:
Blood/Gore
Violence
Action
Don’t shy away from main character deaths
Trauma
Horror
A little comedy
Some mystery/crime here and there
Hot waifus
What I’m fine with/It’s alright:
A LITTLE bit of romance (as long as it’s not the entire plot)
Filler episodes (a few are fine but if there are too many I’ll fall asleep)
Slice of life (if they incorporate action and/or comedy into it like Spy x Family I’d watch it)
What I HATE:
Sex (nudity/suggestive material is fine as long as there’s no actual sex or intimate body parts shown as my girlfriend would probably kill me if she saw me watching that)
Romance-centric plot
Long anime
Horrible pacing
Anyway, those are my criteria! GIMME YOUR BEST SUGGESTIONS!!

What is the most anticipated show of this season? Mine is Firefly wedding and The Apothecary diaries. I'm so much into Firefly wedding for this seasonal anime. Can't wait for Friday so I'm now reading manga. For Apothecary Diary, I'm curious how the story's gonna fold out.

Started talking to a boy and I told him I like anime and he said he really only knew of Chainsaw Man from one of his boys. Whats a good anime we could watch together considering he's only seen Chainsaw Man. My first instinct is Hunter x Hunter but ill take any recommendations

Basically looking for a show that uses its world building as a weapon against expectations of people that are watching it, like Ascendance of a Bookworm or something that makes the people watching assume things only to go in a completely different direction, like Though i am an inept villainess. Or just something that manages to be completely unpredictable and surprise you lots of times in a different way
Shows that fit : Ascendance of a bookworm, Though i am an inept villainess, Dungeon Meshi
Shows i found extremely mid and predictable : 86, Spirit Chronicles
preferably female MC fantasy

Looking for adult romance animes!!
Not that I mind high school ones its just that I'm looking for ones that are around my age, I don't mind if they have action, heck it could be a sub plot for all I care as long as they are adults lol. I haven't watched too many actually
I'm currently watching [The saints magic power is omnipotent]
And not currently watching, but have seen a few episodes: [Betrothed to my sisters ex]
Those are the only ones I can think of rn besides [Spy x family] if that even counts lol. Anyways thank you in advance!!

I don't know why but for the longest time I've never watched anime. I didn't hate it, nor did I hold anything against those that liked it, but I guess I more so thought "it's just not my thing"
Then about 2 weeks ago I sat down looking for something to watch, decided to pop on Assassination Classroom and.... I loved it. Every second of it, every episode, every character, the visuals, the humour, everything about it was genuinely an S tier experience! And yes the ending broke me! Probably my favourite show ever now!
Now I'm currently starting Spy X Family, and I'm really enjoying that too, but that feeling of missing out all this time just keeps on lingering over me. I should have started way sooner!
This isn't something I want to "larp" (as much as I don't like that term), I think this is something I want to be invested in long term.
What else should I watch? What should I look out for? And should I stop feeling bad about not joining sooner?

Name of the anime:- Psycho Pass
Psycho pass seems like a great anime. I haven't heard greatly about Season 2. Should I watch them both or stop after watching Season 1?
Please drop your suggestions.

Been trying to get my girl into anime, and she’s watched Berserk and AoT. She loved them both but her favorite thing of both it the relationship between Guts and Acadia, and Eren and Mikasa. I need something with a tragic love story. Please let me know! Tyia!

It must be a high fantasy anime or at least western medieval setting.
Not present day or Sci-fi.
Not Isekai or Tensei.
Male MC.

Looking for a series to really just get stuck into.
Not looking for some of the bigger names ideally, I've already seen Fairy Tail, Naruto, Dragonball and all that jazz.
I'm looking for some, like, at least slightly less mainstream anime that I probably haven't heard of already.
