I just finished season 2 and as of now, the series has cemented itself as among my all time favorites. I initially started watching because it had been in the watchlist for so long and wanted to scratch it off the list, but now, I'm so happy I did. I understand that a season 3 (if we do get it) won't be for some time still because the manga is monthly, which is fine for me. I know that the anime teased the next arc as well. I did have a question though. Does the cast from the college arc stick around in any form? Like Chise's classmates specifically. Lucy, Ivy, Issac, and Philomela? Based on a scene at the end with Veronica, I imagine at least that we haven't seen the last of them, but is this a situation where characters sort of remain isolated to the story arc they were a part of? Does Chise (without real spoilers) simply leave the college moving forward, or does she stick around a bit more? I imagine not, since her emotional goals for attending were sort of achieved, but I'm curious.

I just finished watching the second season, >!and for some reason, I have a huge problem with Torey. He comes across as extremely childish to me. And the headmistress was strangely disappointing. I actually quite liked Adolf Stroud.
But overall, the professors all seem almost like students themselves rather than authority figures—with the possible exception of Siegrid Wachmann. Rahab possesses a natural wisdom and authority; that’s the kind of vibe I had imagined for the professors. Then again, it might be an unfair comparison, seeing as she is over 2,000 years old.!<
I’d love to know what you all think—which professors do you like, and which ones don't you like?

Has this happened to anybody else? Might have to order this one just so I can read chapter 40 and if there is any thing missing from chapter 39
