I finally bit the bullet and bought chess, but my copy didn’t include a rulebook. Does this indicate it’s a counterfeit? I know you can download the rules as a PDF but I much prefer playing with a physical rulebook. If genuine copies of chess are being sold without a rulebook, then this is one of those things like QR code menus that stink of enshittification.
