Hi im new to seller central and i have a question, if i am going to sell a generic item and other sellers have the same item listed as generic also can i get on there same listing as them ? Or would i be removed or penalized?

So my family has an Amazon seller account with Amazon easy ship delivery method: we pack stuff and Amazon manages the delivery. But today for our orders, Amazon changed easy ship delivery to self ship and apparently it’s going to stay this way till 25th oct. This is festive time in india. Is this a common practice or just a one of thing/ a glitch?
