I restored new iPhone from old one. Both on 27.0.1. On old one is Altstore Pal installed and some apps.
On new one there is no popup or other hint to download or even allow marketplaces.
Of couse I'm in EU, restarted many times, checked settings, no VPN active, use Safari...
What else can I try?

I have been using Altstore on my old iPhone 15 Pro Max (currently on iOS 26.6.2) without any issues. Now, I've been trying to install it on my new iPhone 18 Pro Max (iOS 27.0.1). I keep getting this error every time I try. I let Altstore expire on the 15 because i knew i would need to reinstall it on the new phone. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Altstore and iTunes on my PC.

In case this is relevant: I still had the expired Altstore installed on my old phone when i did the transfer to the new one. If this is what is causing the issue, do I need to a reset the new device?

If anyone could give me any suggestions, it would be appreciated!

Hey everyone,
I’m trying to install AltStore on my iPhone 12 using AltServer on my Windows 10 laptop, but I can’t get past the “Downloading dependencies. This may take a few seconds” message.
I’ve already installed iTunes and iCloud directly from Apple’s website, and both are installed on my laptop. My internet connection is working fine — I can browse websites and watch YouTube videos without any problems.
AltServer stays stuck on “Downloading dependencies…” for more than 10 minutes, with no visible progress. Task Manager shows very little CPU, disk, and network usage while it’s stuck.
Previously, I also got this error:
“Failed to open the iCloud installer. Could not open the file. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.”
I’ve restarted both my laptop and iPhone, but the issue persists
Does anyone know what causes this, or how I can fix it? Has anyone experienced this exact issue on Windows 10?
i even left it on overnight, but still not installed

Randomly the apps i had installed said they were no longer available and i’m no longer able to verify apps. when i try it loads for a sec then nothing happens. I tried to reinstall altstore and I dont get any type of error, just nothing happens.

Have I been banned? and if so for how long and do yall know any ways to get around this

got this error today while trying to refresh, everyone else seems like they have the 80045 error, just wondering is it the same for error 36607? sorry i did scrolled down to find this error related post but i cant find so i posted to see if anyone actually was able to find a solution for this error

If AltServer on macOS 27 fails with -80045 or "The data is not in the correct format", I made a temporary build of the fix I proposed in #1834, for people who can't wait for it to be merged.

Before you run it:

- It's unsigned and not notarized. The release has SHA256 checksums and the patches it was built from, so you can build it yourself or read the diff.

- It gets anisette data from a community anisette v3 server (ani.jkcoxson.com). That server sees a device identity, not your password or 2FA code, which go straight to Apple.

- Apple Silicon Macs only, tested on macOS 27.2.

What I tested: sign-in with 2FA, installing AltStore on an iPad Pro and an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and refreshing AltStore from the app. I did not test refreshing other sideloaded apps.

What it doesn't do:

- It's not universal: some accounts still get -80045 with this identity.

- AltServer on the Mac only, not remote refresh.

- SMS codes fail on Apple's side, use one from a trusted device (Settings > your name > Sign-In & Security > Get Verification Code).

Don't retry many times in a row, Apple rate-limits. Also, jkcoxson published a Mac-identity anisette server (mac-ani.jkcoxson.com) that may work with the official AltServer without patches. I haven't tested it.

I used mine a few years ago with no issues, just got altstore back and saw someone talk about a “ban wave” on here.. can I actually get banned? Also how do you even make another apple id without a phone number in the uk since the google phone app thing doesn’t work over here?

Looks like there’s another bug of sorts 80045 error. Probably a new profile ban without saying profile ban perhaps?

I had only 1 day remaining, thank you to the person who said to use your Mac as the anisette server. Had to try 2-3 times but it worked just in the nick of time. 2012 MBP still going strong on Tahoe😁

If AltServer on macOS 27 fails with -80045 or, since Oct 14, "The data is not in the correct format", here's what's going on and a fix.

Why: on macOS 27 AltServer generates Android anisette data. Apple first rejected it with -80045, and now answers any request that declares an Android client with a 503 HTML page, which AltServer shows as the format error. It's not your password or your account.

What works: Windows anisette data from an anisette v3 server (ani.jkcoxson.com), with the client info and user agent that server reports. iloader 2.3.8 uses the same approach.

Fix for AltServer: I opened a PR, https://github.com/altstoreio/AltStore/pull/1834 (+ https://github.com/rileytestut/AltSign/pull/61). Tested on macOS 27.2: sign-in, 2FA and AltStore 2.3 installed on iPadOS 27.2. Until it's merged and released, iloader 2.3.8 is the easiest option if you need to sideload now.

Tips: use a 2FA code generated on a trusted device (Settings > your name > Sign-In & Security > Get Verification Code). SMS fails right now. Don't retry over and over: Apple rate-limits you (429/503). Some accounts still get -80045 even with Windows anisette.

Hi everyone, got this error yesterday and since then I can’t sign my apps, tried to use another WiFi, few cables and in the last attempt I’ve tried to uninstall the app from my iPhone, didn’t help either

Couldn’t find anything online about this specific error number so maybe someone here could help, thanks in advance
