Afternoon.

I’ve been invited to join my brother at Airsoft in Bristol this coming Sunday. I am using some of his kit and one of his guns as I do not have any equipment of my own at this time. He has ran me through the basics over the weekend and I have used the gun in his enclosed garden which then enabled him to dial in the scope.

I am hoping that I can take this up as a hobby if I end up enjoying it. What I don’t want to do is make a complete fool of myself as I know there will be people on our team who are vastly experienced.

Any tips which would enable me to not make a tit off myself?

I just bought the Lancer Tactical X AirTac Customs Gen.3 CRBN M4 off my friend im looking to take the stock adaptor off to use a pdw stock or a normal aeg buffer tube does anyone know how i take it off ? I cant find any videos

Need a bit of help, I've not played in about 4 years and I'm currently running a KWA ronin and ASG scorpion. I'm looking to get a new AEG in the next couple of months but have no idea of what's good these days, I have a budget of about £400-£500

What’s the best aeg mags to get the ones I have now ain’t working that atm I have to push and hold the mag there for bbs to keep firing or it’ll shoot a bb then nothing then a bb

I have on my belt the usual, mags, pistol and a dump pouch.

All the attachments are pretty much fixed in place, but the thing keeps on swivelling around. Not fun when you go to grab your pistol and it’s worked its way around to your arse.

How do you keep the belt fixed in one place?

Hi all, bit of a different advice post/request.

I got into this sport thanks to my Dad and we had many happy years of playing until around 10 years ago when most of his stuff got stolen and he kinda just stopped playing due to work commitments and fitness.

Fast forward 10 years, he's now retired - health is better although definitely not as good as it was but he is adamant that he wants to get back into the sport before he loses the opportunity due to some other life event.

Can't say I blame him and I've learnt not to argue with him.

I've directed him to look at sniping opposed to sneaking about like he use to. Gives him the opportunity to play a more sedentary role I suppose?

But I've got no idea about snipers or DMR's nor the best kit to direct him towards. Budget is about £350 for the main RIF and he's settled on a Glock for secondary - just doesn't know what one to get.

As for all the other kit - further suggestions would be appreciated! Trying to push him towards battle belt or something to help his mobility

The progression of my VFC M727 Carbine Seal/Ranger clone(ish) build, sadly I don't have a picture of the gun when it arrived ie, bare. I'm especially pleased with the Larry Vickers double mag mod, I bought a genuine Duramag and some deactivated 5.56mm rounds. Looks good hanging on the wall.

Think of it as your own little corner of the internet dedicated to airsoft, rather than trying to piece everything together across different social platforms.

We're a small team building this specifically for the sport, and getting the mobile apps live on both platforms has been a pretty big milestone for us.

Hi all. Struggling to find a nice decent looking short suppressor for my rifle. Ideally wants to be practical for cqb and outdoor environments. Have been looking at the KAC QDC suppressor, Any photo inspirations/ideas would be great!

Looking for some technical advice! I’m trying to build a tiny, self-contained anti-fog system for airsoft goggles.
The idea is to fit a 3–5V mini air pump and a 3.7V 800mAh 14500 battery into an AA battery holder, with silicone tubing directing air into the goggles. The pump is rated at 0.8–1.2L/min, and I’m hoping for 8–9 hours of runtime.
I’d use small air inlets and 3mm foam to reduce vibration. Do you think this is feasible, and would the airflow be enough to prevent fogging? Any advice is appreciated!

Looking for a tracer unit that will fit a TM 416 and also an AAP, is that a thing? Any pointers much appreciated.

Have been hiring at my local site until my UKARA registration was done, which is now sorted.
Have a £250 budget, so have narrowed it down to the EMG x Knight's Armament KS-1 / M4 AEG from Patrol Base.** **
£190 plus spare mags, sling, BB’s etc takes me to the £250 mark.
What drew me to this was that there is a 7.4v battery included, so ready to go out of the box.
I know that an upgrade to a new 11.1v battery is ideal but can add this and a red dot sight a month or so down the line.

Have been playing in woodland, so the long-ish length shouldn’t be a problem.
Wondering if any feedback on this model or if anyone has an absolutely nailed on recommendation for a different option in this price bracket?
Would prefer to stay M4-based.

I forgot to say, I would want blowback and semi-automatic. Full auto might be nice, but I believe they put a lot of stress on the internals?

At the start of the year I got myself back into airsoft after a very long hiatus from the hobby. For my first gun upon my return I decided to get myself an AK as I have always loved them!! I added the rail and optic and called it a day, thinking it looked pretty slick....until I played 40k Boltgun 2 and I saw the bolter wrapped in prayer scripture and purity seals, so I had to do it!!! I haven't been able to get a purity seal yet, but it's going on the lower receiver just above the mag well!!! I'm super proud and happy with this!

Hi all! Just looking for some advice - recently upgraded my gearbox for SA AETHER with HAL ETU. Got it activated and all. Before ordering I’ve seen that on Specna arms own website was pdf file with instructions on how to program it, but of course I never saved it *duh* and now google chrome won’t let me to go to SA website as it keeps flagging it as unsafe. Anyone can shed some light on what’s the issue with website or perhaps has a copy of said instructions and can share them ?

P.s I know there are YouTube tutorials- but I want to actually test different settings and the only place where I can do so is my local airsoft field that doesn’t really have any signal , so that’s not quite the option.
