Bamco’s doing a survey for people who played AC8 with a feedback section at the end. Good time to voice any changes and improvements you would want to see

Posting very soon will return to approval by default, but keep in mind we are still heavily moderating spoilers. A comment will be attached to any Ace Combat 8 posts to ensure everyone is aware of the continued focus we have on preventing spoilers and guidelines to follow. Violators will receive bans, purposeful and malicious violations will be permanent bans.
Contrary to "popular" belief, none of us are career reddit mods (I honestly cringe at the term myself). For most of us this is our only subreddit we visit regularly. We have jobs and careers, touch grass, and also have played the game with the free time as well. For those who are understanding and sympathetic to our slow responses or inability to handle all the posts made, thank you.
For those that were disappointed by our inability to handle the volume of work presented, I'm sorry we couldn't deliver a good experience.
However, I would like to make a proposition as well. With the large influx of new users and posting, if anyone interested in joining the mod team and helping out, you can send a private message request to myself u/DriftingNitro , same as before there is an application process but I'll handle it one on one via DMs this time. Having some help shooting down spoiler reports would be a massive help.
A new Ace Combat game is a special type of excitement we only get to experience once in a while. Thank you to everyone for being so enthusiastic and being a fan of the franchise. It has been heartwarming to see so many new faces welcomed into the franchise, and veterans supporting our nuggets first sorties. I hope to see you in multiplayer (some of you already have). If you have any anger left in you about posts not getting approved, or about this subreddit not working the way you want to, feel free to come and shoot me down in Co-op Warfare (if you can catch me).
In case you missed it, there are several troubleshooting threads we've created for people to consolidate issues and hopefully share solutions, feel free to look in the following threads:
Full Release Spoiler Discussion thread
Ace Combat 8 Reviews Megathread
Pre order & Game code troubleshooting
Performance Results Megathread
Online Multiplayer Issues Thread
These threads will gradually be taken off the pinned posts, you will be able to find them linked here.

So I've been stuck on misson 20 of AC7 and every time I get to the very end of the space elevator I get SLAMMED into the wall by nothing. Every attempt its happened. And its not stick drift, it's not my settings, its not my plane build. Idk what it could be. In the clip above I dont touch the controls at all. That violent movement was THE GAME.
UPDATE: I'm a dumbass.
I've been only shooting down the UAV then immediately climbing the SE. Didn't even think about having to destroy all the targets in the base part as well. Im not going to take the post down for the simple fact that a fellow dumbass might need this evidence in the future ✌️😭

We’ve seen massive rail guns, we’ve seen giant super planes, hell we’ve seen laser towers and all the insane weapons the strange real universe has to offer, but it’s honestly crazy to say that something as simple as orbital rods from space in my head is the most terrifying when you look at it
- the entire concept of being a victim to it is unsettling, one moment everything is fine the next without warning a massive explosion goes off and the place you once stood is devastated, if you somehow manage to survive your thoughts are running at 1000 “ what just happened, were we nuked?
- It’s a weapon where we never really had a sure way of destroying it fully, yeah sure we may have taken out one and disabled another but throughout the whole game it’s shown to be one of the more resilient super weapons, having multiple ways to aim it and it and Sotoas ability to launch more if needed
- The final thing is that it’s just too damn effective at being a shadow that you can’t help but being afraid of, almost every mission I had a fear that a spear would just come down and decimate the fleet or destroy our ground forces and multiple times that did end up happening
All in all a terrifying weapon for how simple the design truly is, and in a world of crazy and unique super weapons it stands out as being the most effective

So a little last minute, but for London MCM comic convention, as I'm popping in on the Friday: thought I'd throw together a quick 1 day build. Some airsoft kit, toy helmet, paint mask, and a few little details. It will pass for something casual and fun.
Hopefullly bump.i to some other AC8 fans there too. I can't be as cool as Wings, but if peeps think it's a good attempt at Rex, I'll be happy.
(Also expecting lots of "are you dressed as top gun?", which tbh I won't see as a bad thing either! Lol)

Kazutoki Kono recently did an interview about the lore relating to Strangereal, the FCU, and the background and locations surrounding the game. One of the questions asked was, "What inspired the name of the game?"
His reply was, "We went to America, to some of the most well-known and historical locales for flight history, and during a reconnaissance shoot at a southern airport hangar, we were looking at plane emblems to sort of draw inspiration for what was going to be our new emblem. We came upon a plane with a rainbow emblem, that looked like a hand, and it really laid the groundwork for what became the Five Fingers. Then, out of nowhere, this zealot with a lisp runs up to us. He has a sign in his hand, and he is yelling, 'It's Adam and Eve! Not Adam and Theve!'
...and that's how we knew our title. This guy was crazy, but he sure was fast, like he had wings. And of course, it all naturally fell into place from there."

So if the FCU only had three ships at the start of the campaign then where did they find all these Ticonderogas, Burkes, and a Ford class carrier?!?!?!?
