I put the NSFW just in case the filter had a problem, but it's tongue-in-cheek humor, not a big deal. I had the music recorded and some lyrics on the page with a story in mind, but when I started experimenting with talk-backs and voices it got out of hand! So I toned it down a bit after ending up laughing hysterically at writing all kinds of crazy stuff. It was very enjoyable to experiment finally reaching past my comfort zone. I wrote the music, lyrics and made a rough demo before I uploaded this to Suno and tweaked the production. Then I downloaded it and did some editing in Audacity. If it is considered AI music, I'm game! I'm really proud of the result regardless of how I created it. I support anyone one who loves to make music no matter how it becomes a song. I've been working on a Viking-themed concept album using Suno, with 10 tracks following a journey through Norse mythology, battles, Ragnarök, and rebirth.

I wanted the album to feel like one continuous adventure rather than a collection of unrelated songs.

Kept getting looped vocals whenever I asked for glitchy, warped synths. Turned out the word 'chopped' in my prompt was the problem. Got rid of it now the vocals stopped repeating :D

This trend of spending most of your listening time listening to music that you have brought into the world is an interesting one. I'm sure lot's of musicians over the years have spent a good deal of time being their own audience, but with ai generated and assisted music there is still a connection from an individual point of view that means the creator may be the only fascinated listener and no-one else is interested (ofcourse there are exceptions). I'm not judging this btw but it is a trend. What I'm wondering is what to call this practice? Is there already a phrase for someone who only listens to their own music? Preferably not an insult, but a balanced descriptor.
