Tier 1 [Vitiello] There would be the issue concerning Krösche’s working team, specifically sporting director Timmo Hardung, his right-hand man and trusted associate. Eintracht would like to keep Hardung to have him take over precisely the role left vacant by Krösche. Tiago Pinto is one of the names.

Milan have been looking for several weeks for a new executive figure who can work closely with owner Gerry Cardinale and support Ruben Amorim on a daily basis. The search began after the dismissal of Giorgio Furlani and Igli Tare last May, but during the summer the Rossoneri were unable to finalise a deal with Markus Krösche, the leading candidate to become Milan's new executive, mainly because Eintracht Frankfurt wanted to keep him at the club.

However, since Sunday evening, things have changed, because Krösche has resigned and is once again in talks with Milan. Contacts are ongoing, and in Germany they are confident that everything could be resolved by the end of this week, both from an economic point of view and regarding his responsibilities within the Milan club.
Meanwhile, yesterday, the executive delivered an emotional farewell after the board meeting in Frankfurt: "I can only say thank you for five extremely exciting years."

The first issue to overcome concerns a clause that Milan could pay to Eintracht to release the executive from his contract. In fact, Krösche is tied to the Frankfurt club until June 30, 2028, and to secure his release Milan would have to pay €4–5 million. The two clubs will have to discuss this matter in the coming hours.

Then there would also be the issue concerning Krösche's working team, specifically sporting director Timmo Hardung, his right-hand man and trusted associate. Eintracht, however, would like to keep Hardung to have him take over precisely the role left vacant by Krösche.

So who will be the new sporting director who will join him?Several names are being mentioned, and the leads point towards Portugal. One of them is Tiago Pinto, currently an executive at Bournemouth, Milan's next opponents in the Europa League, and a former Roma executive. Other rumours point to Boto of Flamengo.

Question/Help Milan for a day

Hi, I'm travelling to Milan 22nd November for 24grs. Flight lands at 9am and going to the game Sunday evening before doing a San Siro tour monday morning.

Staying around Centrale station as I only need a bed, so got a cheap room.

What are the must sees and must dos for the game? Looking to get tickets in Secondo Anello Rosso to get a good view of the game and the Curva Sud.

Tram/metro to game?

What time to arrive?

Best quick grab food options around stadium?

Best place for a beer post game to let the rush die down?

Rabiot: "Fortunately, we won the match, but in the end, I’m not sure we deserved it that much. That is why I’m a little angry because, as I said, we won and we needed the three points, but we cannot play a first half like that and then collapse in the second half."

Discussion Tuesday Discussion Thread

Great place for team discussion/whatever Serie A related topics you would like to bring up. Examples: Transfers, rumors, players from other teams, things you miss about the old days etc. Whatever you want as long as it isn't too off-topic.

Also a good spot to ask about the stadium, the city of Milano, bars, fan clubs in your city etc.

Here are some important links for new members:

Interview/Quotes Youssouf Fofana to El País on the move from Milan to Sevilla: “Simply the management and the coach decided that I didn’t fit into their project. I understand it and fully respect it, there’s no bitterness. Now I’m at Sevilla, where they wanted me”.

Honestly, I don’t know where we’d be without “the Duke.” May God keep him healthy until the end of the season.

Tier 2 [Moretto] Milan’s number one target for the January transfer window is the central defender. RaphaĂ«l Le Guen could be a target for the summer, given the injury that will keep him out for 2 months. On the list there’s Gonçalo InĂĄcio and Ghilardi from Roma.

Interview/Quotes Amorim: “Estupiñan? It happens at other clubs too that sometimes the fans aren’t too keen on certain players. We need to support him. He’s a player who has played in the Premier League, and I can guarantee that by the end of the transfer window we had a list of clubs who wanted him. But I said no.”

Aggregator [MilanWire] Ruben Amorim on BENCHING CissĂ© after his hat-trick: “I’m NOT going to play someone just because he was really good in the last game.” “Every game is a different story. I choose players based on what THAT game requires.” “CissĂ© needs to be ready to come on — and score another goal.”
