Purchasing US Toshiba 65 inch Z670R for $549?
Seems like a no-brainer for that price? Agree or disagree?

Yesterday, I booked a 55-inch Samsung S90H TV and paid an additional 14% for an extended warranty covering 2 extra years, bringing the total warranty period to 5 years.
Was the extended warranty reasonably priced, or did I overpay? Is it worth keeping, or should I cancel it?

I don’t know much about TVs, so I’ve been doing some research and narrowed it down to these three options that fit my budget:
● LG B6E OLED
● TCL QM7L Mini-LED
● Hisense U7G
They’re all around the similar price for the 65” model.
My main use will be watching sports and movies. I’m not a heavy gamer, and I’d like to keep the TV for at least 5 years.
I currently watch TV in a basement, but I’ll eventually move to a townhouse, where the living room might be brighter.
Which one would you recommend, and why? I’d appreciate any advice on picture quality, reliability, longevity, and any issues I should consider before buying. I’m open to other suggestions in the same price range too.
Thanks!

Hi, I’m looking to replace an old Samsung 55 inch QE55Q6FAM QLED. Think it’s from 2016. Still runs ok but want an upgrade, possibly to 65 inch too.
I’m in the UK and have a budget in and around £900 and can move a little but have been a bit overwhelmed at the amount of options and from the research I’ve done I know I’ll not get an OLED so have been looking at mini led options.
I’ve looked at lg Qned85 but now I’m led to believe they aren’t true mini led and don’t have full array local dimming.
Then the equivalent Samsung geo qleds at a similar price don’t seem to support hdmi 2.1 or 120hz.
I’ve seen the Hisense U7S and it seems to get very good reviews for picture quality and cover the other things I want but my concern would be build quality, would it last as long as a Samsung or an LG?
I’m having a hard time deciding. Basically I’d like the best picture quality possible for the price, I’ve a series X for occasional gaming and 4k blu rays too so the picture quality on the discs is important. I was all up for the LG QNED thinking it was a proper mini led but now I think I’ll be disappointed with the picture, any advice?
Thanks

Like I’ve said above, I know very little about the actual technical breakdowns of how televisions work, but I know that I want and need a new one.
Im in the market for something that would take advantage of the capabilities of the Xbox series X for both gaming and watching streaming services. This will be in a room that stays fairly dark and never has any issues with glare. Im looking at about a 65 inch television for this space.
I’ve tried and tried to do research but I get overwhelmed with all the info. I know I need something with at least native 120hz refresh rate, but that’s about the extent of my understanding.
I don’t want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on something that will only matter on benchmark scores, but I still want to have a noticeably enjoyable experience.
Help me spend my money, but not too much of it. This would be in the US. Would it be crazy to try and keep a budget of $800 for what I’m looking for?

I want to get a new TV ready for GTA 6 and I'm looking at these two TVs.
LG 55" 4K Ultra HD MiniLED Smart TV [2026] - 55QNED70B6C - £429
Sharp 55 Inch 55JH6425K Smart Roku 4K UHD HDR Mini LED - £349.99
Are any of these good or has anyone got any different suggestions. I would like a MiniLed one because I don't trust OLED because of the risk of Burn in, even if it is rare to happen. I want the size to be at least 55 inches and not cost more than 450 pounds if possible.
Thanks

Hi guys! I'm really confused about this decision mainly due to one reason:
Color rendition and color science.
Hisense genuinely has nice colors out of the box; it's really pleasing to look at.
Also is it me or does Hisense also have a greater perceived sharpness in content?
What's the consensus guys? Just want a quick decision, I might go for 85inch or 75inch, and UR8S is bit more expensive (200$ extra)
Opinion needed in terms of 2 things:
- Motion, and general processing such as upscaling
- Colors

I posted a few days ago asking for good options for a bright room. That issue has now been resolved because of blackout curtains. So the question is what is a good TV for gaming.
My upgrade is mostly spurred by GTA VI coming out. I play on PS5 and am looking to get a 65in. Mostly interested in the Bravia 7II, but also heard about LGs and Samsungs being viable alternatives. Two other considerations are that this will not be wall mounted and I would like to try and stay under $2k.

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to post, and I will delete my post if this doesn't belong here.
I'm looking to upgrade my TV and wanted a few recommendations on which to buy. I currently have a Toshiba 43in LED 4K UHD Smart FireTV from 2018. I don't really use it much other than to watch a few shows and let my cat watch her YouTube too haha.
My only wants in a TV would be some kind of voice control—I love using the Alexa feature on my current TV—, user friendly UI, with a good display/sound quality. 43in for me is the best size because it's the biggest size that can fit in my room. I'm open to reasonably priced TVs as long as they're not a thousand dollars.
If this also helps, I'm able to buy from Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and Costco.
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone!
I'm upgrading from an old 32-inch Grundig from around 2010, so I'm hoping for a significant improvement!
I'm looking for a 43-inch non-OLED TV for up to €600, available in Italy. The Samsung QN90F caught my attention because of its Mini LED technology, HDR brightness and gaming features. At around €600, it would be my first choice, but unfortunately it seems to be out of stock everywhere I've checked.
I mainly use the TV for PS5 gaming, movies, TV series and sports.
I mainly use the TV for PS5 gaming, movies, TV series and sports.
My main priorities are:
Good pixel response and motion clarity, with minimal ghosting or smearing.
Decent viewing angles, as the TV is positioned at an angle to my sofa.
Good performance in both bright conditions with direct light and complete darkness: good reflection handling, high brightness, deep blacks and minimal blooming.
Ideally, 4K 120Hz, VRR and ALLM for PS5, plus good HDR performance.
Would the QN90F be a good fit, particularly regarding viewing angles and pixel response? Or would an IPS/ADS TV be better for my setup, despite its lower contrast?
I'm open to alternatives, but please consider the specific 43-inch versions, since specs can differ from larger models. I'd appreciate recommendations based on actual measurements and reliable reviews rather than marketing claims.
Thanks!

I currently have a 65" TCL T6C (it was cheap when I needed a TV) but now I have an Xbox and use the TV a lot more I'm looking to upgrade. I don't want OLED. I was looking at the Bravia 7 ii but was told it wasn't good for gaming. Currently considering the TCL C8L (QM8L). I just don't want to spend a lot of money on something that won't look good for gaming - mostly online like Gears, CoD, but also GTA, Star Wars, Hogwarts, etc). Any advice on what to look for (UK)?
Hello everyone. Let's say if the prices were equal for both the Sony Bravia 3 II and TCL QM7L, which one would you go for?
At first I was set on a 50" TV as my viewing distance will be just under 6ft, but reading more threads on here + some YouTube reviews, I think 55" TVs have way more options.
The TV is mainly going to be used for streaming movies and TV (with subtitles; also my laptop will be plugged in via HDMI 2.1), YouTube, and occasionally sports during big playoffs/events. I don't really game or use a console.

Been looking to upgrade my TV and had a post pop up for a used A95L. Was purchased last year, minimal usage, asking price is 1200. Ya'll think its worth going for? I would obviously be testing it and checking it out in person myself before going ahead with it. I just worry about possible problems/ defects in the future with no warranty.

Hi everyone.
Need a new 55in or 65in for my new place. I have a 5 year-old in my household so I’m a bit apprehensive to get an OLED at this point in our lives. Been doing research on OLEDs and just as I was ready to buy a 55in C6 on sale, it hit me…”ehhh you know what, maybe when she gets older.” So now I think I better get a Mini LED for the time being. Right?
I’d be upgrading from a 50in TCL Class 5-Series QLED.2021. So almost anything is an update. This tv has served me well but it’s time for a new one.
Anyway, budget is $1300 or less. We only do streaming and movies but do appreciate a clear picture, good motion control and great colors. I keep it on low brightness most of the time.
What do you guys suggest?
