It’s been over a year since I posted anything. Hope you’re all enjoying your 40’s ☺️ I’m going for 44 now and life’s still pretty good and fun!

Had a quick rip in and out of Scottsdale but what a great city, definitely looking forward to the next one!

I'm 42 male, but everyone is always shocked when they find out how old I am. I act pretty young still, I'm in good shape, I have good hair, I dont have much grey, i dj and go to raves, I own my own business and work from home so I don't have like suits and grownup clothes, i still dress in tshirts and outdoorsy casual clothes most of the time. I really don't wanna change any of those things either.

But I keep running into situations where people freak about how much older I am. At burning man everyone in my camp thought i was around 30. I have been kinda seeing this girl I met IRL so we didn't know ages. The other day she asked me how old I was and I said 42 and she kinda freaked out (shes 33) and was like holy fucking shit you do not look that old.

I guess I should take this as a compliment that I look younger, but I can't help but feel like everytime someone calls this out i'm like "yup, i'm old as fuck" I hate it. I wish I was 30. I went through a divorce at 40 and while I love my life now, I didn't plan to be early 40s and living a life like this.

How can I change my mindset so I dont feel so upset about being the "fucking old guy" all the time and constantly having this issue come up when meeting new people?

Today is my 46th birthday. Not sure how I feel about it, but here I am. Grateful for health and wealth.
