Sharing Tail | A Stickman Short Film
Tail is a short film about being disconnected from the simple pleasures everyone else seems to feel. Being alone isn’t a refuge, and being with people doesn’t reach him. It has no narration and no explanation. It’s told through body language, stillness, timing and sound.
🎧 Best with headphones.

Critique Critique on my Sleeping Animation? WIP
This is my Oc for a commercial I’m making. It’s a work in progress. Can I get any tips or pointer? This is handrawn traditional animation. It took me two weeks to nail the breathing.

Sharing My 2D-3D Hybrid Film is now on out!
Inspired by Platonism, Gnosticism and Jungian psychology, this animated film was my final project for Uni. Made with a team of 30 animators and a bespoke pipeline, the film is a loveletter to the myths and philosophies that inspired me, as well as a way to explore the possibilities of cross-medium animation.

Sharing A few seconds of 2D animation, shown alongside the process behind it
I put together this side-by-side breakdown of a short 2D animation I made. One half shows the finished short, while the other shows the drawing and animation process for the little bird that lands on the sheep's head.
I find it interesting how a character that appears on screen for just a few seconds can require its own drawing process, movement planning, timing, and adjustments to fit naturally into the scene.
Despite all the technological advances we've seen, I feel that the core artistic work behind 2D animation remains remarkably similar: designing shapes, making movement feel right, and bringing drawings to life frame by frame. The tools evolve, but the artistic decisions are still what make the animation work.
I love watching other artists' breakdowns and making-of videos. Seeing how different people approach their work is one of my favorite ways to appreciate the craft and learn new things.
There's something strangely lonely about this process.
When I watch the making-of of a tiny element like this bird, which appears for only a brief moment in the animation, side by side with the finished short, I'm reminded of how intimately I know every frame, every movement, every little detail that most people will probably never even notice.
It's almost like knowing an alternate universe in a multiverse, a version of the world that exists only because you traveled through it, frame by frame, and that no one else will ever experience in quite the same way.
Animation can be a lonely art form. It's a singular journey, because you're the only one who walks the entire path. You spend hours, sometimes days, exploring a world microscopically, painstakingly building something that everyone else will experience in a matter of seconds, moving at full speed, without ever seeing all the little decisions, struggles, and moments of affection that went into it.
And perhaps that's part of what makes it so special. The audience doesn't need to see all that work. They just need to feel that the world is alive.
But somewhere behind those few seconds, there's an entire universe that only you will ever truly know.
The illustration and animation were created entirely in Arttista(for Linux, but there is also macOS and Windows versions too)

[VOLUNTEER] [UNPAID/VOLUNTEER] Original 2D Animated Indie Show "Bridges Burn" | Seeking Animators and Artist!

THE PLOT👀:
Bridges Burn is an animated psychological romance currently in development. The story is about a girl named Sarah, who lives under the secret identity of a famous celebrity known as Sam. While working for a gang, she is assigned to manipulate a boy named Leon, who is obsessed with that very same celebrity, into becoming useful for their missions. The problem is, the more time Sarah spends gaining his trust, the more emotionally attached she becomes, and the harder it is to betray him.
PRODUCTION🎬:
Our story is fully written, and much of the pre-production has already been completed (Character art is currently on the way, we still require more Artist. Character artist also do the storyboards). The biggest things we need now are character designs, storyboards, and people to help bring the project to life. We are currently looking for Animators, Character Artists, Background Artists, Prop Artists, Voice Actors, Music Composers, Sound Designers, and Assistant Editors. Experience isn't required but is very appreciated. Time commitments are very flexible, with no strict weekly quotas or deadlines. Joining this project is a great opportunity to learn, and can help build your portfolio, gain experience, help shape an original animated series from the very beginning, and meet other passionate creators. If you're interested, simply join the Discord server linked below, read through the project information, and submit an application. The length of the project will go on for a many months, to possibly year+.
MONEY💸:
There will be no Revenue generated, not for the staff or owner, as well this is purely a volunteer project.
ART STYLE🎨:
Our visual style goes for more of a 2d semi-realistic look with expressive faces, while remaining easy for animation. The animation has 3 parts, each going to be around at least 20 minutes (But don't worry, it is not animation heavy for 20 minutes).

Sharing From rough lines to a fully colored boss: the hand-drawn process behind one of Tiebreakers’ bosses
We wanted to share how we bring a boss to life in Tiebreakers.
We start with rough animation to figure out how the character moves and feels, then redraw the final design and paint every frame.
A lot of drawing goes into every single boss, character, or object inside the game
