I love yuri as much as anyone here but I have a bit of an issue. This may just be a pet peeve but I feel like character designs in yuri anime are skewed a bit too far into loli territory. I prefer my characters in these kinds of anime to have more developed figures. While there have been characters that fit this description like Mirei from Valkyrie Drive and Renako from Watanare, for the most part lesbians in anime are far too childlike. What pisses me off even more is when bustier characters do appear in anime, they’re always placed in an anime with a man as the protagonist. Case in point, anime like High School DxD, Chained Soldier and Monster Musume. The female characters in those anime look great. But of course they had to ruin it by giving these girls a bland (or in DxD’s case terrible) make love interest. The only anime like those I mentioned that’s yuri is Valkyrie Drive Mermaid but that’s not enough. That’s what I feel but what do y’all think?

(Also if you know of any anime like Valkyrie Drive Mermaid please let me know)
