I'm mostly looking for photos from the late 90s/early 00s of the atrium and fountain areas before they were removed, but I'll take anything you've got! Since the mall is long gone now, my hopes are that this thread could live on as a bit of a time capsule for anyone looking to relive some memories past just the available google searched images that I was able to find.

My girlfriend (F26) and I (M24) are moving close to the area (Bevent) at the start of November, and I don’t know anyone! I’m writing this in hopes of it finding some people with similar interests.

I’m moving from Milwaukee, where I lived for about 5 years until I was over city life. I went to school there for film, so I’m a big movie buff. I love watching and discussing movies, and collecting DVDs. I’ve also been trying to read more recently, currently reading A Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead comic (I’m also a big comic reader!).

As far as activities, I always enjoy going out with a camera and shooting photos and video. When I get free time I try to work on creative video projects with any good or interesting footage I’ve collected. I used to fish when I was a kid and I’m hoping I’ll get back into it now that I’m in a better area for it. I also enjoy a good hike!

My girlfriend, cat, and I, are looking to relocate to the Stevens Point-Wausau area. We’re looking for a place to rent that allows pets and is between $750-1000/month. If anyone has any good landlord recommendations or has a place they’re trying to rent out themselves, please reach out.

We’ve done our research into what management to avoid, so I don’t think we need help there. We would also prefer an older unit over one remodeled with grey walls.

Hi y'all my dad passed away and was an avid collector of all things packers. I sold a lot at a yard sale last year but now I'm back (live out west) to settle the rest of his affairs and I'm left with a couple boxs of memorabilia, a fair amount of just things and a small amount of JSA certified signed stuff, don't think I'll have as much luck selling it where I live and don't really want to cart it 2k miles home so where in wausau or the surrounding area buys this kinda stuff? I've looked on the goog but didn't really figure anything out and the local folks always know best anyway. I am in Merrill so even up this way would work. thanks in advance!

Hello, I moved to Wausau and I haven’t been able to make much friends yet. I wanna just get on a football field and run some routes with a quarterback or someone that knows how to throw a footballz I’m trying to get better because I’m joining the National Guard and then hopefully next fall I’ll graduate in time to go to Stevens point for football in fall 2027, im 19 years old and haven’t really made a new friend since early high school
