Jinx my kitty has been posted on here so many times. We live in Scotland where outdoor cats are the norm. He went missing today for 12 hours which is definitely not normal for a neutered boy. He came back home at 1.30am n I think he has been hit by a car. I’m devastated. His back end hips and legs aren’t working properly I’m absolutely devastated. Called out of hours and they have told me to keep him comfortable until his appointment in the morning.

I know people say that tuxedo cats are chatty but, this boy barely makes a tiny peep when he meows. I wonder if he will find his voice?

I feel my cat is bored sometimes

Scarlett (2F) hurt her back leg a week ago. We were fairly certain it wasn’t broken or anything and prolly just a sprain so we didn’t take her in right away. She started to get better but yesterday she got a lot worse and was barely walking on it. Her vet managed to squeeze her in today and she got X-rays that she had to be mildly sedated for (felt so bad leaving her there for a couple hours) and she is now back home. They say she sprained her Achilles tendon and gave us some pain meds to keep her off her feet to try to get it to heal. So now she is comfy at home on her favorite blanket with tv playing for her while she is high on pain meds lol.

I hope she gets better soon! Seeing her in so much pain is awful!

This was after about 40 minutes of throwing 7 pipe cleaners she stole from a mystery location, playing with the laser pointer, then chasing the ball around the toy that she's sitting on. She's 18mo and unstoppable 🤣

edit: one hour of playtime and then she found a box filled with pinecones and started biting them! this cat is an energizer bunny!
