Norda 001 $120 size 9 worn for approximately 5 miles, they look great, feel built like tanks but sadly just don’t have the bounce I’ve come to love in a modern shoe, the search continues.

Adios Pro 3 $75 8.5 approximately 10 miles on these, LOVE them, wanted to make them work but unfortunately they’re a tad too small and I can really only go sockless and still can’t rack up the distance as I’d like to so hopefully someone else who knows these can put them to good use.

Rabbit Dream Chaser $30 my partner grabbed me these at a local store going out of business a while back because s thought they ran big, once again too small, an 8.5 would be perfect. Wore these casually for an afternoon, great midsole, super comfortable, I tried using the super plus insole they come with in other shoes but those are too small and my toes hang over a bit. I could see these being a great casual or slightly peppy recovery shoe.

Custom built this splat as an experiment having previously only resoled with Vibram, and having seen a few of the Nike pros rocking similar shoes lately. Turned out pretty well I reckon, uses a small piece of Vibram Litebase Speedstar and a Matumbo plate in place of the original pad on the SF2. Weight gain is negligible but does feel slightly forefoot heavy. I’d use it on both track and XC.

Interested to hear thoughts, and any other ideas people might have for similar builds?
