im still shaken from the experience so please forgive my lack of coherence.

today i was playing my favorite game, realm of the mad god on a fairly new character (the old one died at 14.8k base fame) so i thought ill go ahead and do some easier dungeons in the realm for the fame bonuses

pirate cave, forest maze, rainbow road, the usual.. it was until someone called a spider den, they didn't have a username which I just brushed off as a good old bug.

I immediately teleported because i still needed spider den and entered.

There was nobody inside, just me so i went ahead, cleared the dungeon and killed the boss. as i was looking thru the bags, another player joined the dungeon which was weird because i was in there already for a good 30-40 seconds and I thought the portal would've disappeared by then. That's when i realized.. they had no username and was playing a samurai with the default skin.

Initially I didn't think much of it but as I was about to exit the dungeon, the realm portal didn't work. I didn't wanna nexus because the realm was on 95% when i entered and I didn't wanna miss oryx.

Then it happened, the other player teleported to me and said something in chat. I couldn't read it, it was all weird characters from some other language that you normally can't even type or paste into chat..

and then... he activated his ability and a full 3d blender animated cgi cock and balls appeared in the front of his character... I couldn't believe it.. i never seen anything like this in the game.. i was shocked... but when i tried to type in chat my game crashed..

I tried looking up on google if thats a thing or a special item, but nothing came up when i searched "rotmg samurai 3d genitals item"

is this part of the new season? was it a weird glitch? please i need answers

Right at the finish line. Would've been my first ever 5-star but I decided to get over-confident doing one last O3 for the night. I wanted that exalt too much.

Well, i limit tested a lot ngl, but my brain was off since i'm sick rn, dunno why i went towards him when i could have went to the other side xD brain not braining, i got a lot of rare equipment, a Shiny snakesin shield, ready for a Knight playtrough now !

After spending the better part of the last 4 or 5 days hunting down this dammed cookie I finally got it! I was feeling pretty discouraged when people told me they’ve been dropping them so easily and I even watched two people drop a shiny in front of me. Now it should last me untill i. Can snag another blueprint for it.

recently came back to the game and after getting familiarized with the recent changes and I wanted to grind some crystal equips from the crystal maybe with some enchants. I always enjoyed the crystal sword's range and using the crystal wand but I just kind of realized that...

...aren't they incredibly hard to grind nowadays? obviously you can't use keys given it's in the realm. and as far as I know there's only a singular mysterious crystal per realm so you're limited to realme openings and closings as it spawn once at the very start. it has no map distinction from a regular enemy nor any set piece, so you need to comb the Abandoned City to find one if it wasn't killed already (1x1 grey circle tile where it spawned making it nearly impossible to tell). and the only items that can be used to fill the forge requirements are only exclusively dropped by the crystal itself (there's also the keychain cutlass but that's also limited to whenever there are active keyper campaigns)

am I missing a detail? is it intended for something like a crystal sword to be this uncommon? I know they are tradable and the blueprint is in the shop so it feels sort of contradictory with how rare they naturally are. am I missing any extra items that can also be used to forge it or is it intentional?

Enemies in Cland despawn when i use my cloak xd

So I'm old/returning player. And every time I rejoin I am baffled at all the new content. I love these types of games and I love the grind, but I hate not KNOWING which item I want and I hate swapping tons of items mid fights.

The best guides I've found on a handful of classes are sebchoof vids and "history of loot"-shortform vids. But neither of the two are good at giving context; like seb will say: this staff is good, that staff is good, but you might want this staff for swapout and you might also want this staff, without ever a: if you only want to keep one or two, make it THIS.

Why are there so few guides/tutorials for this game do you think? Or do they exist and I just don't know where?

What I mean is, were there any other Community/Fan driven forums, or made by Devs and used with community as well, with options of making posts, comments and more. There is realmeye.com and there is reddit.com/r/RotMG that we use and I know that there was a page wildshadow used in the past that can be visited thanks to wayback machine, but I wonder if there were any others.

Discords aren't included as answer, as most of them are probably abandoned/private communities that, even if they existed they would probably be just bustling with friends or unable to be joined by current randoms.

I never used kongegrate and I'm not aware of any roguelite/ke sites that could possibly place them there either.

I tried farming some Mountain Temples today in a party but good God the droprates for the portals is horribly low, seriously Deca buff this shit

Killed the enemies that can drop the portal by the dozens and I still didn't see a single one drop the portal
