Card Reveal This card looks so nice
(PS not mine) it came from a Chinese pree release, I think this is the first time we’ve seen the physical card and it’s stunning 🤩

Today was my first ever pre-rift and I was pretty excited to open some packs and play. I thought I had an okay understanding of the game, like I did research and knew all the rules, basic interactions, how to play etc
There was ~35 people, and I was the only one without a mat or deckbox and I kinda expected to get rolled but there wasn't a single other brand new player there
Everyone just had so much knowledge about the entire set already and the best cards and combos and idk, its understandable since you win rewards but yeahh was kinda rough, I obviously lost every game and went last
I think I just hyped it up alot and when I got there it was pretty oveewhelming and cliquey already so im venting.. I pulled lulu in my last pack and shes my favourite champ so that made me happy!
None of my friends play and I was hoping this would be a good opportunity to find some people but I kinda failed at it, any recommendations to get better maybe online before going again, its hard to watch regional videos because I can't read the abilities xd

See https://riftbound.org/products/radiance-showdown-decks
What do you think of Seraphine and Evelynn here? Is this product worth picking up for the two decks? Is it a good starter deck or addition to your collection?
MSRP is $35. Will launch on October 23rd

See if you can solve it. I'm really proud of this puzzle. I think you will see this interaction come up quite a few times for any aspiring Riven players.
K'sante is Holding to 8 next turn. He has a HUGE board. Break his board!
Scenario:
You held to 7
Heron with Blade of Exile attached on Hunter's Circle
Enemy holding
Fortified Position:
Mutated Mouser 5M on D with Nazuman Ntofo Attached (3 Shield)
Stalwart Poro 3M on D (1 Shield)
K'Sante Orange 6M on D
Lonely 2m on D
Astral Heron 9M
Green K'sante 5M
Green K'sante with Nazuman Ntofo Attached 7M
Mutated Mouser goes to 25M on D with 2 Green K'sante
13M on D if 1 Green K'sante
I have a video that shows the answer. Note there are 2 possible solves (My lazyness got the best of me)

Seraphine is terrible. If you get her deck, kick out the Legend and the Champion. If you can pull a Heimerdinger card, perhaps you can cannibalize the deck parts and make a Mech strategy out of it. I stream on Twitch and I tried very hard to make the Seraphine pre-rift deck work on my last two streams. It was better when I stopped trying to carry her. twitch.tv/beforedawn_
Here I will explain some interactions, along with a combat trick + removal guide at the end. It is so much worse to have your units die during your own backfired attack compared to your units dying when your opponent swings into you, so this will help you assess how risky an attack might be.
Lost to the Sands (3p) -- 4 damage to a unit at BF
Scorched Earth (4p) -- 5 damage spread across units
-- comes with all three Red decks
Elnuk Herd (HIDDEN) -- +3 Might
-- comes with K'Sante, Evelynn deck
Hold Em (3) -- +3 Might, potentially playable for 1, more likely to happen with Jarvan Martial Paragon
-- comes with all three Orange decks
Evelynn Consuming (5p) -- +5 Might, potentially +6 (epic card)
Momentary Companion (HIDDEN) -- +4 Might
-- comes with Evelynn deck
Gurrier Guardian (HIDDEN) -- +3 Might
-- comes with Evelynn deck
Bedeviling Stranger (HIDDEN) -- +2 Might, bounces a Unit if there are 4 at the BF (rare card)
Demon Shade (HIDDEN) -- moves friendly unit
-- comes with Evelynn deck
Siren's Song (2) -- moves enemy attacking unit
-- comes with Evelynn deck
Satchel Charge (3p) -- moves friendly unit
-- comes with Ziggs deck
Protector's Shield (2) -- +1 and Tank
-- comes with Jarvan deck
One-Two Punch (3) -- Buff and Stun
-- comes with Jarvan deck
For Demacia (3) -- +2 Shield on all Units
-- comes with Jarvan deck
Consult the Heavens (1) -- +2 Shield
-- comes with all three Green decks
Ki Burst (1 + self-exhaust) -- Stun
-- comes with Riven deck
Battle Preparations (2) -- +2 Might
-- comes with K'Sante deck
High Note (3) -- minus might for each exhausted unit
-- comes with Seraphine deck
Improvised Projectile (3p) -- variable damage (not consistent)
-- comes with Orianna deck
Ntofo Strikes (2) -- +2 Shield, 2 or more damage (epic card)

Just got back from an early PreRift here in Eastern Europe. We have a competitive store with numerous prize wall farmers so I think our experiences will be generally true at your store too. Wanted to share and start discussion:
Tier 1
* K’Sante
* Jarvan IV
K’Sante was the only 4-0s and numerous 3-1s - this surprised us a bit. He could consistently make huge attacks with big Shield numbers. Like how Tools of the Empire in VEN made it impossible to hold, KSante + Ntofo can break most holds and then be a brick house on defense. Armored Tusker is turbo S-tier.
Jarvan was next and a bit easier to predict - movement good. Skystrike Squadron is a workhorse, able to bounce your Deploys and bounce around while being a 5 might deflect on defense.
Tier 2
* Mordekaiser
* Riven
Red Morde is a game changer on his own. As long as you aren’t way behind, he can grind out games by trading off Recruits for extra lives of Morde. You can play more big guys and power costs, which is generally good in Limited play
Riven is quite good, but without her Ganking blade the ability is a little less oppressive. She has good tricks and probably the highest skill cap of these top decks. Can draw lots of cards but struggles with the tempo of the top 2.
Tier 3
* the rest of them
The kits seem pretty well balanced. Very dependent on what rares / epics you open. You could also skip the legend and just draw extra cards in this tier.
Good Luck
* Orianna
Just doesn’t have the tools to compete, I think you would need to open The Ball. Even then, just play legend-less good stuff
——————-
Our general impression was units were lacking, it was hard to build a solid reliable curve. Many colors lack cheap interaction so play anything you can find at 1-2 cost that does anything. Lots of slow spells - anything Action or Reaction speed felt super premium. Hidden cards, especially Elnuk Herd and Momentary Companion were especially powerful.
How was your PreRift? Did it match this summary?

Please explain like I'm 5yrs old The Chain in riftbound.
also, what is meant by pending or finalized chain items? It seems like the stack from magic but there is a 'pending stack' and 'finalized stack' which are resolved differently.
thanks, a very new player.

Today the Pre-Rift events start.
I've added all the Pre-Rift kits in rotation here: https://riftbound.org/pre-rift-kits/rad-radiance
What would you hope to get? I'd love a Riven or Orianna kit.
Everyone enjoy your pre-rifts!

During my pre-rift event, I had different people tell me different things regarding deploy. In the rules, it says deploy is redundant. I understand multiple gears with the same name wouldn't stack. You can deploy multiple bombs to a battlefield without issue but can you put different deploy gears on the same battlefield?
Just looking for some clarification in the rules text if someone has it.

I know it’s supposed to be a sweet bun, but I thought cookies would be easier to share lol.
Brown sugar cookies with raspberry gelée and cream cheese icing.

I want to look for someone with more artistic skills to do this better, because I don’t have these skills.
r/riftboundtcg • u/RemoteBug9148 • 2h ago
Im wondering if anyone draws and creates custom playmats. I know it’d be more expensive but I lowk want something more personal with actual artistic flair (in other words I don’t want generic ai slop)
I’m aware this would be more expensive but any suggestions would be nice ^^

So this was just revealed today, KDA x LV collab. And this Art of Evelyn is so good. I was just wondering what’s the thought process of Riot’s Riftbound team making a battlefield that looks like a promo card as an ultimate this season? When they can clearly come up with much greater options such as Evelyn KDA x LV card. Imagine that art on a foiled card, collectors would go crazy.

Hey everyone ! Just wanted to share my ( first \o/ ) Riftbound video on this Jinx deck ! I just love playing low tier decks and this one is maybe my favorite so far. It’s not about winning, it’s about having fun !
I think radiance brings some interesting new cards, such as the new BF that gives you another discard trigger and Ekko that actually won me some games !
This list was highly inspired by a list I found month ago on Piltover, I don’t remember the name of the player, but cheers to them !
The video is in French, but the cards speaks for themselves !
Hope you enjoy !

Hey guys,
I played a little bit online when spiritforge came out, I played with Jax and Lucian mainly. It’s my first TCG I’ve played and I haven’t played in person.
Just dipped my toe back in on RiftAtlas and the decks on there seem wild now, felt like the game as advanced a lot and already being new to TCGs I’ve fallen behind a bit
Wanting to get back into it and looking for simple decks to pilot, like I said I mainly played Jax before they changed the re-equip stuff and Lucian, I played a small amount of Darius too but last I heard they changed how legion works too.
Appreciate any feedback guys! Thanks and good luck on pulls.

I was thinking about the upcoming updates and wanted to get your thoughts on K'Sante.
Do you think he’s going to be strong in the new meta? Do you feel he has the potential to be on par with champions like Master Yi in terms of power and overall impact?
Curious to hear what you guys think!

Hey all, excited to be starting this tcg!
Big background in MTG, been trying out riftbound with friends and it's been an awesome experience. Usually I'd go around looking at Scryfall/EDHrec to start deckbuilding when it came to MTG, but I don't really know the effective resources for Riftbound, so I thought I'd ask here.
I want to try and start a decklist with either Graves or Gangplank as the focus, I've looked at legends such as Khazix or jayce for using gangplank, or Lee-sin for using Graves, but a lot of the lists I've seen are fairly old or pre-banned cards. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out finding resources, or share any decklists that they've found really fun.
EDIT: That's on me; I should clarify that I'm looking at them in the deck, not as the champion. If anyone's familiar with the phrase 'secret commander's, it's that whoopsie!
