Dog hit, Foothill & Hellman NSFW

I don't think it's a stray, since the tail is clipped. Dog ran off, but it's clearly going to be hurt to some extent. Hopefully, this video finds the owner.

GPS coordinate is always wrong in this dashcam, so ignore the lat/lon. But time is correct.

Cucamonga Failed my behind the wheel test any advice?

I took the test today and I fail because I was going too fast. I’ll admit I was nervous, anxious and caffeinated but also excited. I was going 10 mph when leaving and when I was heading up to a stop sign apparently, I didn’t do a complete stop. I’ve scheduled another appointment for the upcoming 2 weeks so I really need to lock in and get my license since it’s mandatory next month.

Any advice or videos I should watch?

Edit: I rescheduled the appointment and I’m taking it at Pomona.

Rancho Cucamonga: Diversity & Community Vibe

Thumbnail
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone!
My husband and I are considering relocating from Florida to Rancho Cucamonga in 2027, and I’d love some honest perspectives from people who actually live in the area.
I’m a Black woman in my 40s, and my husband is Salvadoran. We’re an interracial, multicultural family looking for somewhere we can genuinely feel comfortable, welcomed, and connected to the community.
Rancho Cucamonga has really caught my attention because of the mountain views, beautiful neighborhoods, and overall appearance of the city. However, I’d love to understand what life is really like beyond what I see online.
A few things I’m particularly curious about:
Black community: Is there a strong Black community in Rancho or the surrounding Inland Empire? Are there Black-owned businesses, cultural events, salons, and opportunities to connect?
Racial climate: How welcoming is the area toward Black residents and interracial families? Have you experienced or witnessed racism, discrimination, or racial tensions?
Immigration enforcement: Given the current climate, what has immigration enforcement looked like locally? Have residents noticed increased ICE activity or changes in how immigrant communities feel living in the area?
Latino community: Is there a strong Salvadoran or broader Central American community nearby? We’d love access to authentic food, cultural events, and community connections.
Politics and community attitudes: Would you describe Rancho as socially progressive, conservative, or somewhere in between? More importantly, how does that translate into everyday interactions?
Overall lifestyle: What’s the vibe for people in their 40s? Is there a good balance of peaceful residential living, diversity, restaurants, nightlife, and things to do?
We’re not necessarily looking for somewhere everyone thinks alike. We just want a safe, welcoming, diverse community where people generally respect one another.
I’d especially appreciate hearing from Black residents, Latino residents, immigrants, and interracial couples, although everyone’s perspective is welcome.
If you live in Rancho Cucamonga, would you recommend it to a multicultural family? What do you love about it, and what should newcomers know before making the move?
Thanks in advance for your honesty and insight!

Recommendations

Hey there! This is a really random question. I have to go to the rancho courthouse to clear an old warrant (no judgement, please) I forgot I had... Anyhow, the clerk said they can only add 40 people on the calendar to be seen. With that being said, what time should I arrive to get in line? I know the doors open at 7:30 and the clerk window opens @ 8...

Are there any weekly run clubs for REALLY slow runners?

Or like... a walking club?

I love the concept of run clubs but I am SO SO SO slow (13-14 min/mile) that "all paces welcome" is still fast to me.

Thanks!
