À celui qui a volé mes lunettes de soleil dans les toilettes du café Saint-Henri, j’espère que vous aurez de la malchance pour le reste de l’année et que vous vous étoufferez avec votre prochain verre.

Old town sold out on dates

Hello! I'd like to come from Los Angeles to Quebec City Dec 10-15. All of the hotels in upper and lower old town are sold out. The attraction is to visit a beautiful, winter-y city ( It was 36.6 degrees today in the middle of October, I'm over it)where I can walk around and enjoy the architecture, atmosphere, weather and people. With that part of town not available, is there another area where there my be better availability to stay that makes sense for someone coming with no transport? Or should I try to visit another time when accommodation can be had in the old town? Edited to add, we are almost 60 years old, have no interest in nightclubs, bars etc.
