Theory: MK Ultra never ended. Modern Psychonaut culture is the world's largest un-consented mapping protocol.

Think about this logically for a second.
When CIA Director Richard Helms ordered the destruction of all MK Ultra records in 1973, we were told the project was "discontinued because it was ineffective." But historically, whenever the intelligence apparatus claims a psychological operation "didn't work," it usually means they refined it, compartmentalized it, and pushed it deeper underground.
Here is my theory on why MK Ultra is secretly still active and why modern psychonauts are actively executing Phase II of the project without knowing it.

1. The "Truth Serum" Delusion vs. The Real Objective
In the early stages, the government was obsessed with finding a literal "truth serum" or absolute mind-control switch to force compliance. They quickly realized that brute-force interrogation with classic psychedelics like LSD just shattered the ego or made subjects unreliable, catatonic, or chaotic.
They didn't fail; they realized they were asking the wrong question.
They realized that to truly control or predict human consciousness, you don't break the mind in a isolated lab room—you map the human subjective experience at scale.

2. The Geopolitical Controlled Leak
If intelligence agencies genuinely wanted to erase a chemical or substance from the face of the earth, they could easily enforce it or suppress its precursors—look at how aggressively Research Chemicals (RCs), Bromo-DragonFLY, or specific synthetic analogs get tracked down, banned, and dismantled when they aren't useful.
Yet, classic psychedelics and entheogens managed to spread to every corner of the global map. Why?
Because the "Hippie Movement" of the 60s wasn't an operational failure that slipped out of the lab; it was an open-field deployment. They needed a massive, diverse sample size: different geographical locations, different cultural backgrounds, different neural baselines, and different psychological environments.

3. The Digital Grid as the Ultimate Data Harvester
Back in the 1960s, analyzing trips was manual, slow, and limited to physical logs. Fast forward to today:
Trip reports on Reddit (r/Psychonaut, r/LSD, Erowid)
Online forums, podcasts, and digital trip logs
Biometric data tracked by smartwatches during trips
We are literally handing over the most detailed neurological, perceptual, and narrative mapping of the human psyche in history. Every time someone posts a trip report describing "entities," ego death, or altered spatial perception under specific doses, they are contributing a data point to a global behavioral model.
They don't need to put you in a dark basement with headphones anymore. The psychonaut community voluntarily maps the parameters of human consciousness in real-time, under every possible variable.
We thought we were exploring the cosmos and liberating our minds. What if we’ve just been crowdsourcing the baseline dataset for the next evolution of psychological architecture?

Change my mind.

Extreme success followed by persistent anxiety and hyper-arousal after repeated psychedelic use — anyone else?

About 2.5 years ago, I had my first mushroom trip during a particularly difficult period of my life.

That experience changed everything.

I suddenly felt euphoric, motivated, and full of purpose. Over the following year, I began using mushrooms almost every 1–2 weeks.

Mushrooms single-handedly put me on a spiritual rocket ship that sent me to the f*cking moon.

My ambition skyrocketed. Within roughly a year and a half, I ran two full marathons, multiple half marathons, competed in HYROX, continued lifting heavy weights, and nearly tripled my business.

I felt unstoppable. I genuinely considered it the best year of my life.

Then things started going downhill.

Over the past year, I’ve gradually developed persistent anxiety, fatigue, poor sleep, and increasingly poor recovery from exercise.

My later mushroom trips became increasingly uncomfortable, often producing intense health anxiety, paranoia, and uncomfortable physical sensations instead of the euphoria I’d experienced before.

I’m not even entirely sure whether what I’m experiencing now is anxiety. It feels more like my body is constantly producing adrenaline or stress hormones, even when there’s nothing particularly stressful happening.

I frequently experience this uncomfortable sensation of adrenaline in my chest, even when I’m sitting still. My tinnitus becomes particularly noticeable at night, my eyes twitch, and I feel exhausted and overstimulated simultaneously.

It’s almost like I’ve become anxious about feeling anxious. The physical sensations make me uncomfortable, which makes me more anxious, which makes the sensations worse.

The anxiety makes it difficult to sleep, and the lack of sleep seems to make everything worse.

Strangely, these symptoms are often most noticeable when I’m resting and temporarily improve during exercise.
I’ve also become unusually sensitive to caffeine and THC, which I’d previously tolerated without issue.

Looking back, I think my ambition became increasingly unhealthy. I spent well over a year pushing myself relentlessly, both physically and professionally, while experimenting with various substances.

I suspect some combination of psychedelic use, prolonged stress, and insufficient recovery may have contributed to my current condition.

And the strangest part?

I genuinely value the life I’ve built. I have so many things to be grateful for, yet sometimes it feels like there’s a wall of anxiety between me and everything I experience.

I’m planning to step away from recreational substances, significantly reduce my training demands, and prioritize recovery while seeking medical evaluation.

I want to learn how to experience ordinary life without constantly needing to enhance it.

Has anyone experienced something similar following repeated psychedelic use? Did you eventually recover? What helped?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences.

My 🍄‍🟫Trip Taught me

I was on a trip yesterday and what the wise little voice was teaching me when I closed my eyes and showed me is that there’s YOU as an individual, and then there are all these thoughts and urges floating around you like little clouds or bubbles. And just because you experience them doesn’t mean they define you. But because you’ve gotten so used to entertaining certain thoughts or acting on certain urges, you start identifying with them and thinking they’re YOU.

And really my biggest takeaway was realizing that just because a thought or urge pops into my head doesn’t mean it has any power over me or determines what I do next. I used to almost treat certain thoughts or urges like instructions, as if having them meant I was inevitably going to act on them or dictate how my day will go. But NO they’re literally just thoughts and urges, nothing more like how paper is just paper. They can still be there, floating around being annoying asf, and I can STILL choose to do something completely different. I don’t have to wait for them to disappear or even fight them. The thought isn’t the boss, the urge isn’t the boss, YOU ARE. You can experience something mentally without having to identify with it or act on it. And that realization genuinely changed how I look at my own mind and self. I love mushrooms, greatest teacher of mine.

psychedelic trip in a dream?

I had a very strange dream last night. I was preparing psychedelic "oatmeal" for a party I was hosting. Had some people I dont really know in reality over and we were all chowing down on this oatmeal. The music was groovy I had this sense of the trip coming up like a mushroom trip. Like I actually felt it in the dream! And then I had this realization, " oh shit i have people over so i have to clean my bathroom" so I go to the bathroom of my dream house, I am scrubbing the whole floor, better than I ever scrub my bathroom in waking reality ;) and I can feel the trip coming up, just giggling to myself, racing the clock before I am too high to care about my bathroom

I woke up with after my imaginary landlord showed up mad about the noise

What? This is some "inception" type shit I have never felt high like this in a dream, so interesting. Anyone else?

What if you are someone in pain?

If you are someone who suffers from like migraines, soreness, tension headaches, muscular pain, etc. How would shrooms affect you? Would you be too distracted to notice, or worse, would it completely you dial in on the pain? Im curious how much your physical state affects your experience on psychedelics.

MGMT is a severely underrated band from a psychedelic/psychonautical perspective

Their inaugural album provided a few fantastic pop anthems, but these were just a drop in their 5-album repertoire. Andrew & Ben really seem to be able to scratch that "other" itch for me. Kids, Time to Pretend and Electric Feel are very psychedelic so to speak--but Siberian Breaks, Bubble Gum Dog & In the Afternoon are just as much if not more so.

Am I alone in this thinking?

LSD time capsule storage?

I know it will naturally degrade over time, however im thinking about including a sheet in a personal upcoming time capsule project. So far im thinking: Vacuum seal with a silica moister absorbing packet, oxygen absorbing packet and stored in amber glass or a foil bag.
Any other suggestions?

2g Golden Teachers – I experienced nothingness for 4 hours and lost my lifelong fear of death

I recently had my first experience with magic mushrooms. I took 2 grams of Golden Teachers, and what happened was something I never could have imagined.
For context, I had been on MDMA for about five hours before taking the mushrooms, as the MDMA effects were gradually wearing off. So I understand that this wasn’t a pure psilocybin experience.

The beginning
It started with closed-eye visuals. At some point, a thought came into my mind: Stop talking, stop resisting, just surrender.
So I did.
Suddenly, I felt myself detach from my physical body. I peeled like a sticker from my body. It was as if I had merged with the universe. I could travel anywhere I wanted, simply by thinking about it.
I remember visiting my little son, who was staying at his grandmother’s house, and then visiting my father at home.
Everything felt incredibly real.

Everything is connected
During this experience, I felt like something was communicating with me. I can’t explain what it was. It wasn’t exactly a person or a voice coming from outside, but it felt like something was teaching me.
It told me that everything in the universe is connected.
At first, I thought I understood.

But then it told me: No, you don’t really understand.

I was looking at my father when suddenly I transformed into a wooden spruce board on the wall of his bedroom.
And then I understood what it was trying to show me.
We aren’t just connected to other living beings. Everything is connected, even on an atomic level. Humans, trees, rocks, wood, everything.
It felt like one of the most profound realizations of my life.

Then I stopped existing
Eventually, I felt myself return to my body.
And then something happened that I still struggle to explain.
For what seemed to be around four hours, I simply stopped existing as myself.
There was nothing.
No body. No identity. No memories. No thoughts.
Just complete darkness and silence.
But here’s the strange part.

It wasn’t scary. Not even slightly.
It was peaceful. Familiar. Almost comforting.
Everything was okay.
Twice during this experience, I somehow became aware enough to think that I wanted to remember what was happening.
And each time, I experienced something telling me:
You don’t exist here. You cannot remember anything. There are no memories here. This is the empty space before birth and after death.

Then I surrendered again.

I don’t know how to describe this properly. I was experiencing darkness and silence, but without the usual sense of being a person experiencing them.
There was no fear, no sadness, no loneliness.
Only peace.

Coming back
When I finally opened my eyes, I was completely confused.
I thought maybe five minutes had passed.
In reality, approximately five hours had gone by.
For several minutes, I struggled to understand where I was and what had happened.
Earlier in the experience, I had also looked at my wife, and her face appeared almost artificial, like she was made of plastic. She later told me that when I looked into her eyes, it seemed as though I wasn’t really there.

The biggest change
Here’s why I’m sharing this.
For most of my life, I had an extremely strong fear of death.
Not just a little anxiety about dying. I mean a deep, overwhelming fear of no longer existing.
And after this experience, that fear is gone.
Completely.
I know this doesn’t prove anything about what happens after death. I understand that this was a psychedelic experience, and that my brain was under the influence of powerful substances.
But what I experienced felt so profoundly peaceful and familiar that something inside me changed.
For the first time in my life, I feel genuinely at peace with the idea of death.
I don’t know what I experienced. A mystical experience? Some strange state of consciousness?
All I know is that I went somewhere without my identity, my memories or my body, and instead of terror, I experienced the deepest peace I’ve ever felt.
And somehow, that peace has stayed with me.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? Especially the prolonged darkness, silence, loss of identity, and complete absence of fear?
I’d love to hear your experiences.

Long post

So below is a little bit of a ramble in reply to a post I can’t put a screenshot of here, but it’s the one about the lady snorting a bunch of L in 2015 which i feel I see once a week at least, but the part in bold is what I wanted to share here and see if my opinions/memories of the doses I mention.

‘I feel like I see this posted every day and it isn’t even the first or craziest instance of people snorting LSD by mistake, look at this one from the mid 70’s imo much wilder.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC1129381/?page=1

I feel like at a certain dose on L you plateau, and even taking more when ur there only extends it, not make it stronger, your brain dumps so much serotonin and dopamine when you take that first large does that it can’t really do it again 3 hours into it.

If dosed right, 200µg per tab imo, I would say around 10 hits gets you as high as you can legitimately be while still being present-ish unless you’re doing it on a constant basis. I have been in that same situation where I took so much I was falling asleep on more than one occasion, upwards of 10,000µg being the highest I’ve done at once.

Another wild one is the spring grove experiment they were treating people with addiction issues, which isn’t crazy, but they were also giving people with schizophrenia and other mental disorders L.

IIRC at least some of the dose in spring grove was from Chezc which coincidently is where the dose on those cherub blotters supposedly originated from circa 2015~ish they were sooooooo good. Rumour was this was one of the first big distributions of 1P-LSD.

This was around the time dead & co extended the fare thee well tour, there was some fantastic L going around with parachuting Jerrbears as the page art with flower of life on each tab on the reverse side.

I would say I liked those a little better, a noticeable difference from the cherubs, the cherubs were still amazing though.

Supposedly that L was from an old stash that Picard made/one of his apprentices made. ‘Family Fluff’ honestly I feel like half of moving dose is having a good story to tell with it.

Both were great just different. When I was heavy in that I was getting it from everywhere. I remember getting some from china and it felt much more cartoony if you will, where the European stuff was heavier. Does that make sense?

This was also the era of C | P (checkpoint) really cranking out good E. The teslas, supremes, Oreos, snapchats, and others that were also highly imitated.

I miss the old days of erowid, shroomery, bluelight, etc. I know they are still active but it’s not the same. Erowid is still a favorite when I’m bored. You should check it out if you haven’t or even if you have, it’s still full of good reads.

Today i ate around 4grams and had my first really intense trip.

I grew some cubes recently for first time and i ate 1.5g twice. Was nice and i was in full control. It was kinda underwhelming tho, nothing like people talked about.

Today i wanted to try the big boy dose and got my trusted friend as a a sitter. I'm usually a really cautious person and have done intense research on drug safety and so on, but i'm overall an anxious person. Ate them and i knew what to expect overall, or so i thought.

At first it started smooth and i immediately noticed that the effects are stronger, but i was still here and it was comfortable. At one point my friend played some trippy music than i somehow connected with safari and i looked at the wood textures on the floor tiles. I saw little black things moving in them with the flow of the grain. I looked closely and i understood that they were little zebras shadows in the savannah.

This is when things went really hard. I became a part of the zebras group and lived as them for what i felt was era. I came back. Felt long, but it was maybe 1 minute. I started freaking out and thought i would die and i screwed my life over and having paranoid thoughts racing. I knew that i was fine, plus i'm a pharmacist, so i'm well aware that it would be fine, but i didn't believe it and thought i was dying.

Then i started to just dissociate. I would look at something and become so focused on it i would just cease to exist. At few point i was coming back to reality, but couldn't make sense. Had a few moments where i would not remember what happened, like i would be chewing a chocolate, but had no idea how it got in my mouth.

I couldn't understand text at first and i would dissolve for what felt hours. Them i would come back and i would be really confused what's going on and i would remember and i gained back the ability to read, then i would dissolve again. Then i had to relearn how to do almost everything.

It was not a nice trip, but i'm glad i did it. I'm so grateful for the life i have and even thought things usually are not in my favor i believe i have what it takes to be a better person every day.

I'm so happy i'm back and i wish all you happy tripping and be responsible.

my shrooms trip on friday

ok for some context im goth, but im fairly new to being goth and I just started getting into theculture and just started dressing like it and whatnot and exploring everything involved in the culture like the paranormal, music, makeup etc so I started wearing a bunch of creepy type of jewelry, I went to a Halloween festival with my friend and we went back to his place for the night and we took shrooms, we both had 4 from a road trip gummy package, which im not too sure if those actually contain exactly the same chemical as shrooms but at the same time it won't tell you the ingredients if you check the website. But we both take about 5 total throughout the night since we bought two packs and we decide to go outside around 1 20ish in the morning,at some point while we're tripping and smoking a cig, thr dog starts freaking the fuck out over something we cannot physically see and tries to jump the fence, more specifically the dog is freaked out by me throughout the night but eventually we get the dog under control but in the middle of trying to get the dog to lock in, a fucking tree falls down onto the neighbors fence and into the shed, which btw NOBODY woke up from, so what do two people high as fuck on shrooms do? We run inside and hide. And yeah sure that wasn't too creepy but considering all the events that happened within that time frame which was literally like 10 minutes at most, it was creepy. But at the same time all the animals were freaking the fuck out and all the cats were freaked the hell out too, like all 3 of them started hissing in a room that was empty and they started freaking out, and they all were freaked out by me which has never happened out of the hundreds of times I've been to his house.

That's all I just wanted to share this story, was still super creepy to me.

2.5 steel magnolia question

Steel magnolia 2.5g. (Tips?)

Heya guys

So i have a few decent trips under my belt but the bigger ones were pre covid. Had 2/3 moderate dose shroom trips, highest was 4.5 of standard cubes (probably golden teachers) at a park alone (my friend was to meet me at around hour 4.) It was a great experience, spoke to an entity while meditating/lying down on a gazebo. The weather was pretty cloudy but still so awesome. I ended up crying from looking at a big fig tree, completely in awe of its beauty.

Now i have also had some lsd trips. They usually start out really good and then they go bad due to bad setting. Like my friend (same one from shroom trip, will call him randy) making me drive about 6 hrs into our 200ug first trip.. i did extensive research to prep. About 6 weeks. And he didnt really listen. Had another 360ug trip with him after and we smoked weed about 5hrs in and forgot we ordered food. He then thought the delivery guy was trying to kill us so we both panicked and searched my house about 6x.. my last proper trip of lsd was a candy flip. 100ug and 1 cap of mdma. He told me he was having a bad day so about 7hrs after dropping acid and 2-3hrs after dropping a cap i decide to bring him a joint. On the train there i had a panic attack and thought i was dying. Ended up in hospital..

Anyway ive never had a bad shrooms trip even though ive done moderate dose around 2/3x and small 0.5-1g doses like 3x in the last 3 yrs. Just some backstory..

Recently my i will be home alone as my mum is going overseas and wants to me to look after her clingy dogs.. so i decided itd be a good time to have a deeper trip as last time i ate a chocolate incrementally and had a pretty awesome low dose trip. Appreciation for love and life and nature all around me, however i had an itch to go deeper and wish i could have during the trip. It was like i was in a waiting room but wanted to go deeper.

So i bought some dried steel magnolia about 2 weeks ago and have decided to trip in a week mixing it into a tea. Im pretty excited and a bit nervous. Every now and again I think of possible interruptions like "what if someone breaks in or what if the dogs start barking a lot" etc. I know its really dumb but i guess im overthinking it.

We have a decent sized backyard and live in a good area. And i have already fool proofed the house so the dogs are in a safe area away from me while i trip to jon hopkins album.

I have been journaling and meditating almost daily and my diets been good and ive been exercising 4x a week too. Only bad thing i know needs improvement is my sleep. I work 3 days a week and on those days i sleep really bad. Even rn its 1:15am and i have to be up at 6am. So i usually get 6hrs at best on those days. Half the reason im doing the shrooms is to fix sleep.

Im wondering if ive overlooked anything for prep. I know 2.5g is probably the start of a moderate dose but on steel magnolia maybe its mid moderate?

Im trying to make sure I account for everything i possibly can and go into the trip with the utmost respect.

Have i missed anything or any gaps in set/setting i can improve?

Edit: i also have my gf and friend who are on call.

PhD Research Participants Wanted – Understanding Substance Use and Identity (UK, 18+)

PhD Research Participants Wanted – Understanding Substance Use and Identity (UK, 18+)

Hi everyone!

I’m a PhD researcher at the University of Derby, and I’m currently recruiting participants for the final two studies of my doctoral thesis.

My research explores how substance use is understood and represented in society, how identities associated with substance use are constructed, and how these understandings relate to UK drug policy. The work takes a critical, Post-Marxist perspective, examining how language, social narratives and cultural assumptions shape the ways we think about substance use and the people who use substances.

I’m looking for people who would be interested in contributing to either of the following studies.

Study 1: Understanding Substance Use Through a Story Completion Task

What is involved?

You’ll be asked to complete a short written story based on a fictional scenario involving a character who uses a particular substance. The task explores how people understand and make sense of substance use through the stories they create.

  • Time commitment: Approximately 25 minutes.
  • Who can participate? Anyone aged 18 or over who is a UK citizen or is subject to UK drug laws.
  • What will you do? Complete one short story and answer a small number of optional background questions.
  • Do you need personal experience of substance use? No. This study is interested in how people understand and conceptualise substance use, so personal experience is not required.

The task is completed online, making it possible to take part in your own time.

Study 2: Interviews About Substance Use, Identity and Lived Experience

What is involved?

This study explores how people who currently use illicit substances understand their experiences and construct their own identities. Through a semi-structured interview, we’ll discuss topics such as experiences of substance use, self-perception, stigma, social attitudes and UK drug policy.

The aim is to provide an open, supportive and non-judgmental space in which participants can share their perspectives in their own words. The research seeks to give greater attention to experiences and perspectives that are often underrepresented in research and public discussion.

  • Time commitment: Up to 90 minutes.
  • Who can participate?
    • You must be aged 18 or over.
    • You must be a UK citizen or be subject to UK drug laws.
    • You must currently use a substance considered illicit under UK drug policy.
    • You must regard your use as recreational, spiritual, for wellbeing or for mental health-related purposes.
  • What will we discuss? Your experiences and understandings of substance use, identity, stigma and wider social attitudes.

You do not need to be an expert on drug policy or social theory. I’m interested in your own experiences, perspectives and interpretations.

Interviews take place online via Microsoft Teams, depending on your preference and availability.

Confidentiality and voluntary participation

Participation in both studies is voluntary. The research follows the University of Derby’s research ethics procedures, and participant information explains how data will be handled and protected.

For the interview study, identifying information will be anonymised in the research outputs. You can decline to answer questions, take a break or stop an interview. The participant information sheet explains the arrangements for withdrawing your data.

Interested in taking part?

If you have any questions or would like further information, you can contact me at:

Joshua Williams
PhD Researcher, University of Derby
📧 [100442840@unimail.derby.ac.uk](mailto:100442840@unimail.derby.ac.uk)

You’re welcome to get in touch even if you’re unsure whether you’re eligible. I’m happy to provide further information so you can decide whether taking part is right for you.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. I really appreciate any interest, participation or sharing of the study with others who may be eligible.

1.5g dried libs

Ground and mixed into a ginger tea, it tasted amazing like soil and nuts. It started to kick in over an hour after taking, I thought they may have been duds boy was I wrong. I walked to my partner’s workshop which is a 2hr journey through fields and forests, it was a beautiful autumn day with no clouds, cold wind but i had layers and a nice scarf. At the peak of the trip it looked as though everything was made out of fur, including my hoodie. The tip of my nose looked a little like a bear’s snout and I felt like a baby bear in a storybook on a journey to deliver the coffee and bread i had in my bag. When I walked through the bottom of a valley, wind rushing over the grass made the fields look like green sheets of billowing fabric. In the forest, the ground was an amazing copy/pasted pattern of orange leaves over the brown dirt and the branches of the trees were twisting around each other like snakes. I got to the workshop and we listened to Alex G and drank coffee and I stared at some clouds that were swirling like milk in a blue tea. I drew a picture of a bear and it looked so silly I couldn’t stop laughing for a while. The white cinderblock wall looked like it had a very intricate floral pattern embossed deep in it

I started picking libs because I wanted to understand myself internally but I felt a wall blocking introspection, pressure in my chest/stomach that wasn’t unpleasant but it felt kind of restrictive. I’m not sure if I should try again with a higher dose

First Injectable 2c-b Report

I’m an advanced psychonaut. Not a brag but I’ve been exploring off and on for 40 years. LSD in the 1000+ trips at 300-500ug well over 500 times. High quality shrooms at 7g 100s of times. DMT vapes for hours and free based alone and with other psychedelics. Ketamine on top of it all, toss some nitrous in for good measure. Candy flips, nexus flips, hippy flips. If I can get ahold of it and have to tested I’m in.

Recently got some injectable 2c-b in an aqueous solution so I figured I’d give it a rip.

We talk a lot about set and setting and while I don’t recommend that anyone do as I do, I do recommend that everyone taking to consideration their set and setting before they engage in any sort of psychedelic experience.

I’m admittedly and have been somewhat irresponsible over the years with my tripping and one of my favorite things to do is to take a lot of psychedelics and go out in public spaces and try to hold it together and that can be quite the experience in an of itself.

Anyway, not recommending anybody do that. It’s my thing and it kinda has been since day one, my first acid trip at an AC/DC concert on four hits of blissfully strong LSD.

I decided to do 15 mg of the injectable. I did some thinking on it and my regular layer around the house dose is 10 and I really wanted to get out there and have gotten up to 60 to 70 nasal administered and that’s quite the trip. I will say that anything over 50 up the nose is pretty damn intense.

I was not prepared whatsoever for 15 mg injected intramuscularly. I took a shower and knew very well that it would hit me fast but I was clean and I had a clear path to the bedroom so I injected into my deltoid in the kitchen, started timer so that I could gauge the trip and report on it, and started heading back towards the bedroom.

Within two minutes I had to immediately lay down on the bed. It was like being on a DMT blastoff. I ended up with my torso on the bed, laying on my back, with my feet on the floor and the towel around my waist. I had planned to put on some clothes right after I injected it but that was not happening.

To say it was overwhelming is an understatement. Like I said earlier, I have a lot of experience in the psychedelic universe and thankfully I was able to assure myself that I had gotten the dose right. That was my first concern is that I had somehow taken more than the 15 mg I intended to and that was about all I could really put together other than the fact that I was a little worried about the second syringe that I had made up for my girl.

After she saw me hit the bed, I didn’t really think I needed to worry about her rushing off to join me on this experience. Still integrating the trip today but needless to say or I guess I should say that I learned more in the first hour than I have in the last 20 or 30 trips I’ve taken out my lineage and my person and who I am and what I’m not and what I aspire to be and what’s possible. My empathy was extreme and continues to be so. I got a lot out of it, but the dose was way too high to be in any way something therapeutic. It was like a sledgehammer.

My girl kept the room quiet for me and this is a magnificent tripping partner and knows her way around psychedelics. The slightest noise seemed to hurt. Physically mentally and spiritually.

At one point, her phone rang and it felt like I had been hit with lightning. She muted the phone thankfully and we laid her in the quiet.

I was somewhat able to resolve my phone screen at the 30 minute mark and I had no idea whether five minutes or an hour had passed and I was just able to start recognizing the room for what it was but I still couldn’t make out any of our art or separate the fractals in the colors in the lightning and the swirling vivid colors from the rest of the world. There was no way I would’ve been able to walk. At about an hour I moved up into the bed properly and laid on my back and about the hour and a half mark I was coherent and cogent and was able to start expressing what I was experiencing and what I’ve been through.

It was truly exceptional. I plan to go back and explore but I don’t think I’m going to be doing 15 mg anytime soon but rather keep it to somewhere around five and see how that plays out.

If you’re going to be playing around with this compound, do you remember that the dosing curve does seem to be logarithmic so 50 mg is a lot more than double 25 mg in terms of effect and my best guess is I took the equivalent of some well over 100 mg of oral or nasal 2c-b. Maybe more.

Temperature regulation was OK and I was able to focus on my breathing and that’s one of the reasons I wasn’t sure how long I had passed because it felt like I was taking a breath every 15 seconds or so so was quite surprised to find a 30 minutes past when I finally was able to kind of see the timer. Interestingly enough and this is pretty common with this compound is that it clears quickly so within two hours I was in a position to we were on the house and do so without worrying about navigating the furniture or pouring water out of the carafes in the refrigerator.

It’s my favorite psychedelic. And I don’t see myself putting it up my nose or taking it orally moving forward.

Be careful and enjoy I’m still integrating so I might come back and add to this as things come to my mind. I will say this as a final note, at about the 2 1/2 hour mark took about 50 mg of ketamine and then at about a three hour mark I took another 50 mg of ketamine and that was a really nice addition to add to the end of the trip.

Nearly every time I smoke a sativa-heavy strain, it feel like I'm full-on tripping. I start seeing some weird shapes and patterns, my physical perception and senses become hugely distorted (as if I was flying or falling), and my head starts spinning into introspection much like mushrooms or acid. I smoked a ~1/4 of a rez joint yesterday, and it felt like my brain was melting out my ears.

I did vape some indica during a lower-dose shroom trip recently, is that the cause? I also have a really low tolerance but, regardless, I feel this is abnormal.

Not that I'm really complaining, tbf, I thoroughly enjoy the headspace.
