Discussion What do you think of this "What if" video? Is it entirely believable?
Not just the premise, but the entire story that follows.

Ok so I was watching an Old Animated Film called Castle of Doom and as I watched I notice a Similarity to Episode 2's Area where the Three Gates raise and I saw the Scene play out but the Three Monsters were different but I wonder did George Lucas get His inspiration from the Film?
Here's the Film in Question

This is one of the posters I designed for the 20th Anniversary of ROTS.
50x70cm actual size in high resolution.
During the creative process, I thought about the posters I would have liked to see back then... The good thing is that 'spoilers' are no longer a limiting factor, so I could allow myself images like this one.

It covers a lot of ground in such a short period of time. Anakin’s frustration and resentment towards the Jedi, as well as his mounting desperation to save Padme have their roots in that one moment with Yoda. Anakin goes to seek Jedi help for his problems, only to get what is essentially a platitude about needing to let go of things, and to not mourn the dead because they’ve become one with the force.
This is obviously the least helpful advice Anakin could get at this point, and it sets up why he’s willing to give this whole dark side thing a shot when from his perspective, the Jedi couldn’t give less of a shit about actually helping him save the people that matter to him. What kind of advice from Yoda was that anyway? Don’t mourn the dead? How does he think most people deal with and eventually accept loss. That could have been worded a bit better if you ask me.

Art by John Brosio.
The exact moment of the climax not only of Episode 6 but of the entire original saga.
Where the protagonist of this whole story, Anakin Skywalker, returns to the light, to the good side, thus destroying the Sith Lord he had created 23 years earlier, Darth Vader. Defeating the dark side of the Force within him, and consequently, also destroying the man who caused all his tragedy, the Emperor Palpatine, or rather, Darth Sidious.
Not only freeing himself from the darkness, but also, without realizing it, fulfilling the Prophecy of the Force — being precisely the reason why the Cosmic Force created him — bringing the balance to the Force after destroying the Sith, causing the Cosmic Force to heal after all the years it was corrupted by the Sith and thus bringing the peace to it forever. Proving that Qui-Gon Jinn, the man who believed in him from the beginning, was right.
But the most beautiful, moving thing and what makes this a unique event, is that Anakin achieved all of this not only because the destiny dictated it or because he desired it, but he did it simply out of love.
Which is quite curious and ironic, since the love was what caused his downfall 23 years ago, but that same love was what brought him back.
And that love was thanks to his son, Luke Skywalker, one of the last two remnants of his former wife, Padmé, who was able to give birth before she died. Luke not only saw his father as the hero he admired as a child, but, like Padmé, he believed that his father was still there, alive, inside that metallic suit and that cold being, even though his masters, Yoda and Obi-Wan, said that he had to kill him.
And thanks to Luke's effort and perseverance, the heart that was once broken and had destroyed the man, was healed, brought that person back to life, thus returning the Jedi, Anakin Skywalker. And after seeing that the same person who believed in him and loved him as much as he loved him, was in danger, he selflessly saved him, like that boy who once helped a Jedi and his friends on Tatooine 36 years ago.
And after all that tense moment and later a tender moment between a son and his father, that man, Anakin Skywalker, passed away peacefully knowing that he saved his son and daughter.
Therefore, this moment represents what George Lucas once said... “the story of Star Wars is the tragedy of Darth Vader“... although we could say it is “The tragedy of Anakin Skywalker”.

Is Obi-Wan dealing in absolutes? Sounds like he’s a hypocrite.
