Is anybody else having serious issues with app crashing/freezing frequently? It is a fairly recent issue where skips take sometimes 30+ seconds to work, and whether I am on my Thumbs Up playlist or on a station, suddenly the music will begin to glitch and then the app just closes of it's own accord. Anyone else? I am and have been a Pandora Premium guy for quite a while, and am sort of pot committed to my extremely custom station I've had since 2010.

Spooky Halloween music and creepy background sounds for your haunt, party, or mood. Tracks made by real ghouls and goblins, no A.I.

This screenshot made me painfully aware that my account is oldddd. Pandora has always been my original music streaming platform since I was 11 on the family computer. I was burned by a promotional Spotify deal where my account was over charged. So I personally boycotted their platform at least 5-6 years ago. Went back to Pandora faithful. Granted AI algorithm for shuffling is seriously lacking in most music streaming apps, with Pandora I didn't mind as much since there are different versions of the same station. Love how they help with crowd fav's or more deep cut obscure tracks to imerse yourself with an artist.
My gripe is coming from the newest email that rolled out last month stating the price increase for subscriptions. I'm having a hard time justifying keeping the sun if the app keeps taking features away... My fiance pays for YouTube premium & has offered that I can just use his account for music since it essentially does the same so that I can eliminate the subscription especially with the price increase. He doesn't fully understand just how vast my Pandora account is 😅 now 16 years worth of listening is dedication. It just feels like a slap in the face to loved users to keep making things in the app worse & expecting more out of us... Sorta at a loss of whether to keep the subscription or not. Told my fiance at least one more month to see if the roll out any quality interface updates, but I'm not holding my breath. Mainly just sad at the decline. Especially since it's been a staple through my years online

I never post on reddit. Ever. But i need to rant about this so badly to people who use pandora which is like nobody. I use this app because my parents pay for the family plan so I can’t justify switching apps. This app actually drives me crazy though. Hey pandora, i have a playlist with 800 songs. If I hit shuffle why would i want to listen to the same 10-20 songs and only those songs for weeks straight? It makes absolutely zero sense. It plays the same songs and only those songs until i grow absolutely sick of them and then it might give me a new set of songs. It’s literally ridiculous. It gets to the point where ive had it play the same song every other song. I’ve tried playlists, i’ve tried radios, i’ve tried everything. It’s horrible and it drives me insane. Please tell me i’m not the only one who notices this

Running DuckDuckGo with the built in tracking blocker. This is pretty normal. That's about 107 attempts per minutes.

Halloween Dark Spooky Fun 🎃 🎶🐦⬛
A mix of oldies, favorite film scores, spooky atmospheric tracks, and new creepy tunes to sink your fangs into. Runs all night with no repeats. Safe to play in front of trick-or-treaters.

I've been an on/off Pandora listener for years now. Over the past couple of weeks, the app has improved significantly. I remember it would randomly shut down, play multiple tracks that had absolutely nothing to do with the station, and I would be downvoting every other track (or so it felt). Now it's going on streaks of 20-30 songs that I dig without introducing anything super random.
A+!!!

Basically this. I don't know what Pandora has done recently, but almost all my curated stations have been infected with those A.I garbage "bands/songs". It's got so bad that I actually uninstalled Pandora from my phone. Is there an option somewhere to say "Do not play or recommend AI music to me".?

Discord Rich Presence is now available! Show your song, artist, album artwork, and playback progress on your Discord profile. Enable Settings → Discord → Share what I'm listening to in Panedora; sharing is off by default. The Discord desktop app must be running with activity sharing enabled.

This new covers EP was recorded in ten minutes flat, straight through, all first takes, with the trio sharing a single microphone for a fully authentic vintage sound, and the bassist on the record was recently performing as a sideman at the iconic Village Vanguard in NYC.

I know removing the app causes the app to change your settings within the app. But I noticed last night I was listening to music; then the app stopped. Tried opening it nothing. Had to delete the app and sign back in then saw my Playlists were gone in the search section. Then I couldn't search for anything at first then was able too. So be careful when using this app.

I don't know why or how, but Macy's right now has 2 different Pandora bracelets on sale for $2 in multiple sizes. I just bought 14 of them for a total of 29.89.

For 14 years I have been distributing music and had very few problems and minor at that. This week I had an album launch and it was nowhere to be found on Pandora, even though I uploaded it to my distributor over a month ago.
I noticed that I also had three profiles and the singles from the album were being spread across all of them. I figured this might be part of the issue.
I reached out to AMP to ask the status of my album and also if they could merge the three profiles. I also asked Distrokid to redistribute the album to them, which they confirmed to me they did.
Today I noticed my three profiles were merged into one, but now you cannot search my artist name in the “all” section. You must click Artist first. Once on the profile, all the moved songs do not appear in “songs” but instead on “releases” only. Also, a collaborative EP I made with a friend which was on one of those profiles that merged, now is not on my profile at all. My new album also is still nowhere to be found.
I reached out to AMP again to ask if these glitches were normal and just take time to process and what the status of my new album is. So far crickets. Unfortunately since I am at my release date, I had to move on with marketing and promotion without Pandora, a literal first for me in all these years.
Are other independent artists having this issue? Did you ever find resolution? Were you able to get your missing releases properly displaying on your artist profile? Any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Very frustrated with Pandora right now.

Hey guys, I shared Panedora here earlier this year and thought I’d post an update. For anyone who missed it, it’s my unofficial Pandora desktop app with a more modern look and a few extra features.
I finally got Tune Your Station working directly in the app. You can now switch between modes like Discovery, Deep Cuts, and Artist Only (on eligible plans and stations).
There’s also a prompt to switch listening to Panedora when another device is playing Pandora. Songs you’ve thumbed up before now sync correctly.
Thanks again to everyone who tried it and left feedback on my original post!
The app is free to download, BUT you still need Pandora Plus or Premium. I’d like to support free accounts too, but I need to be sure Pandora’s ads and skip limits work properly first.
Download: Panedora
Code and releases: GitHub
Any feedback is appreciated! :)

A few weeks ago, the app seemed to change for a bit. I think they may have put in an update. I couldn't see the title bar of the window anymore or access any controls. After removing the app and reinstalling, nothing changed. About a week later, the title bar came back, but now the cursor is choppy with lag whenever the Pandora app is in focus.
I've tried wiping and reinstalling again, clearing the app data, clearing the cache, clearing my browser's history and cache (AI suggested that might help) and nothing seems to change. The browser based Pandora seems to operate normally. Anyone else noticing this, or possibly have a fix?

Hello!
I’ve recently noticed that Pandora automatically “collects” any station I click into. It’s obnoxious when I’m looking for new music and have to go un-collect everything I sampled. I couldn’t find anything about this on the Web, so maybe my iPhone is the problem? Has anybody encountered this? And if so, what did you do?

They just did this two years ago… I don’t know about you guys, but I haven’t got a 20% raise in my pay in the last two years let alone gotten two raises. I think it’s time to let go of Pandora. Can’t say I won’t miss them, but it’s not worth the price anymore.. I hope I’m not alone. It’s time to start letting these companies feel the loss of their consumers. If they can’t appreciate the people that have been keeping them running for years then they don’t deserve our money.
