This is a felted bunny I recently made in memory of Max. ๐
Max has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and his family wanted to find another way to keep him close.
His mom once described him to me like this:
โMax was my first pet that I had full responsibility for and he was definitely my soul bunny. Iโve never seen another bunny quite like him.โ
Max had such unique fur markings, with gray and white scattered unevenly across his body. What stood out to me the most were his beautiful blue eyes with their tiny pupils.
I used a wool implantation technique to recreate Maxโs unique gray and white coat, carefully blending the colors to match his original markings. For the subtle color transitions, I also used pastel powder to soften the gradients and make his fur look more natural.
For his eyes, I painted the beautiful ocean blue with acrylic paints, trying my best to capture what made his eyes so special. ๐
Maxโs mom also sent me some of the fur he left behind. I added some of his real fur into the neck of the sculpture, so this little bunny could carry a tiny piece of the real Max with him.
We canโt turn back time or truly hold on to the ones who have left us. But with our hands, we can turn the love, memories, and little details that made them who they were into something we can touch, look at, and keep close for years to come.

Hi !
I came across the sub I'm so glad it exists !
I'm making a bird but I'm struggeling with feets because they are too thick, unfortunately
I saw on YouTube that you can use bee wax but I don't understand what kind of wax to use. Is there a recipe for it ?
I'm french and most of the websites that sell it ready made are based in the us or the uk, so shipping is expensive
Thanks for helping

I loooove how they turned out! A few days ago it was just a random idea of mine to try and make a cute egg. That idea turned into two, adorable little eggs.
I'll keep the one with the ribbon for myself, and the other one, I'll gift to my boyfriend. It's a little surprise for him. ๐คญ
All that's left now is to glue a magnet onto each of them.
I'm thinking of making more food themed magnets in the future.

Iโve needle felted lilies quite a few times, but I keep coming back to them with softer colors. Soft pinks, a hint of lilac, and little touches of green in this one.
The sunlight caught it just right today. Does it remind you of a watercolor painting, too?

Thank you for checking out my work! This is completely my own original design. I really wanted to create a playful, vibrant green cat character and pair it with textured crystal and wooden beads on leather cords. I'm so happy with how this keychain turned out, especially the color combination and little details! What do you think?
