UPDATE: I reported it to building management and it was fixed this morning. I was completly dry washing my hands.
The flow was indeed too high and they fixed it. Considering the counter was always always soaking wet, I assume this issue had been around for a while so hopefully everyone is happy.!

Required to look clean and professional… and yet if you wash your hands you look like you just spilled all over yourself :,) and no paper towels
EDIT: here’s some answers to the most common questions I’ve seen.
“Why do you keep using the sink?”
It’s not just this sink, there are 3 sinks and all of them have way too high water pressure. It’s the closest bathroom unfortunately.
“Why are you wearing jeans/unbuttoned shirt”
The official dress code is Buisness casual for my department. I’m coming from working retail so this is much more professional than I’m used to. My shirt is unbuttoned because that’s the style.
Jeans are allowed at my job albeit only just recently.
We are required to be “well groomed” meaning a water stain on the shirt would be a problem
“Why don’t you just move out of the way”
I’ve tried. I tried leaning to the side, I tried staying as far away from the sink as I can, it’s just impossible. As soon as the water touches my hand it sprays all over. It’s awful.
“Use hand sanitizer”
You are okay with using hand sanitizer after wiping your butt? Remind me to never shake hands with you
“Why are you dumb?”
I was a gifted kid in elementary school and then when I turned 13, I never lived up to those expectations again idk.
Anyways, I just wanted to clear up that this isn’t that deep. I wanted to make a funny post complaining about something that irritates me every morning. I figure it would make someone laugh. It’s not that deep.
Thank you for the laughs tho. Some of the comments are very funny I love it.
