News I saw firetrucks over at the Agyapa Daycare, on the west side, last night. It's too far away for me to see details, even in the daylight. Anyone know what happened there?

Lethbridge College Policing Program – Worth It?
Planning to apply for January 2027. Would love to hear from current students or graduates!
● How is the course?
● Can you work part-time while studying?
● What jobs are available after graduation in Lethbridge?
● How hard is it to get hired by police, corrections, or sheriffs?
● Is the diploma worth it?
Thanks for any advice!

Anyone working on the Wild 95.5 contest? Let’s team up!
Hey everyone!
Is anyone else trying to complete the Wild 95.5 Wild 25 song list?
I’ve been keeping track of the songs and their numbers as they’re announced, and I’ve managed to fill in most of my list! I’m just missing a few numbers now.
I thought it might be helpful if a few of us teamed up and shared what we’ve confirmed so we can finish our lists together.

Question Probe Elementary School Song/Drumheller sleep-over
I’m a 32 year old Lethbridge born (1993) gal living in Idaho now, but I’m singing the school song in my head as I take my dog outside! All these years later “Here we are at Probe school, we are herrrrrre!” Do they still sing it for assembly?
Also, do the grade 5s (or was it 4s 🤔) still go on that Drumheller sleep-over? To this day, I love triceratops because that’s what I slept underneath that night.
I was talking to a teacher about the more intense parts of teaching, especially with how much more stressful it sounds to manage kids nowadays and mentioned this trip. She was shocked. I admitted I wasn’t sure if they still did the sleep-over.
Thank you all. Miss you, Gerald B. Probe. So many good memories. Any new changes I wouldn’t know about? Last visited in 2011, so they already changed over from the wooden playground to the new playground.

Telus Pure Fibre internet Service West Lethbridge
Hey Lethbians
Making this post after fighting with Telus (and Rogers) for months to get my home internet service fixed. Both of these telecommunications giants have failed me, and the best I can get is 75mbps down, and critically 20mbps up. The Rogers line and service is so patchy and cuts out constantly. And the Telus running over copper lines is just limping by, if this line also dies, I won't have internet. I work from home and absolutely need 15mbps up speed, though I'd be much better off with 100+mbps up. Our copper lines are failing us on the west side and I'm told many houses only have 1 line or no lines to them. So I've been pushing for fiber installations but Telus has been dragging on it for over a decade.
Telus has a customer driven online form we can submit to gauge interest, and if a bunch of you could fill it out that would be awesome, hopefully it'll make a difference.
https://www.telus.com/en/contact-form/omni-form/i-want-fibre
BENEFITS!
-Fast Internet if you want it!
-reliable internet!
-VALUE ADD TO YOUR PROPERTY!
-no cost, the bill is on Telus!
-updates infrastructure at no cost to you
-no obligation to actually switch or use their service
-help out your neighbours who need this access to do their work!
Warning. This form has a forced opt in that consents to your provided information and accepts junk mail sent to you. The first email you get you can unsubscribe from the mailing list and I haven't gotten any more advertising junk.
If you're happy with your internet as it is, great, but just imagine that the line to your house just suddenly stops working like mine did and you don't have any other option than some wireless nonsense that cuts in and out. Thanks so much to everyone who fills this out!

Lethbridge polytechnic digital communications and media
I’m thinking of applying to this course and although it’s the one I’m most set on at the moment, I want to know how other people’s experiences with it was. Also, if anyone has any other advice about the application process or starting out at the polytechnic that would be much appreciated!

Question Looking for Hair Salon Recs
(EDIT - thanks for the suggestions everyone!! Hope this post is useful for others too!!! Found a salon that seems chill so I booked my first appointment in over year!!)
Okay so a year and two months has passed…. still no haircut, because I’ve had my fair share of terrible haircuts in the city. Which is the number one reason I hate getting my haircut, but I also hate getting my haircut because salons make me feel so anxious. They always ask so many questions and as someone who struggles with anxiety it can be very overwhelming. Also I just feel very judged in some of the salons in the city if I don’t look a certain way.
So what are your go to salons that make you feel very safe and comfortable, without bombarding you with thousands of questions. (Unless it’s about my hair that’s fine as I know they don’t want to mess up my hair so they have to ask a lot of questions.) I desperately need a haircut with my split ends 🫣 I’m about to resort to cutting it myself.
Also my hair type is straight if that helps.
Thanks so much if any of you can help 😅
Edit (oh pls recommend the hairdressers too!! not just the salon)
