Hello to all you juice fans out there!
You may have noticed that Reddit's number 1 place for juice and juice-related content has been quiet for a while.
Recently the privilege of moderating r/juice has been bestowed upon me, and I am excited to get this community back up and running.
While I go over things and catch up on the mod queue, I may keep some restrictions in place to ensure that you get only the best juice content, but I hope to fully open the subreddit back up ASAP to allow everyone to enjoy r/juice.
If you have any suggestions for improvements to the community, please feel free to leave a comment under this post, and I will be sure to take it into consideration.
Thank you for your time, and let's juice it up!

I found out today that a bottle of apple juice I had in the back of the fridge was frozen inside so I left it out for a bit to thaw then put it back in. When I checked later, the ice had all melted but it was clear on top, so I shook it up and it looks normal now, but is it going to taste watery?

Item: Minute Maid Fruit Punch 200ml Juice Box
Question: What is "Drawing 05/06"? Is it related to the drawing on the juice box? Cannot find answers on google. If I collect all 6 Drawings will Minute Maid pay my bills? Please advise.

Long-time wheatgrass drinker here (3+ years). Wheatgrass was costing me almost $40 a week, and one day it hit me that I'm literally paying for grass while I have a quarter acre of it outside. So I've been doing lawn clipping juice for about a month now.
I just upgraded to a Nama J2 and the yield is honestly incredible. I'm getting almost a full mason jar per mow, way better than my old centrifugal juicer, which kept clogging on dandelions. I've been leaving the dandelions in, by the way. They're a superfood, and my lawn is like 30% dandelion, so I'm basically getting a two-in-one.
The problem is the taste. It has this sharp, almost fuel-like finish that lingers for hours. My wife says my breath smells like a Jiffy Lube, and my kids won't hug me after my morning shot.
Things I've tried:
- Adding lemon, ginger, and a green apple (helps a little)
- Rinsing the clippings in a colander first
- Letting the mower idle for 5 minutes before harvesting so it "burns off" (no difference)
- Only juicing clippings from the middle of the bag, since the top layer seems more "exhausty"
- Harvesting at 6am while the dew is still on, for hydration
- Sharpening the mower blade so the cut is cleaner and the grass oxidizes less
- Avoiding the patch by the fence where the dog goes (learned that one the hard way)
My setup: Yardworks 174cc with the bagging attachment, 87 octane, mowed at a 3-inch height. I switched off the mulching setting because the clippings were too fine and made the juice gritty.
I also stopped using Scotts Turf Builder a couple weeks ago, because I read that store-bought fertilizer is full of chemicals. Now I just compost the pulp and spread it back on the lawn, so it's a closed loop.
Questions:
Would switching to premium or ethanol-free gas make it taste cleaner?
Is it worth going electric? My neighbor has a battery mower and gave me a bag to try, but his juice tastes kind of metallic.
Is there a way to store it longer? It turns brown by lunch and smells like a garage.
Also, is it normal that I've had way more energy since starting this? I'm sleeping about 3 hours a night but I feel great, and I've started noticing colors more.

This is the perfect sub reddit, because i love juice. I can not express how much I love liquid fruit in a cup.
I feel like, it's actually better than alcohol.
Yeah, there are some with fruit in it. But i feel like most takes away from the fruit part.
I actually want to try every combination of fruit, but as juice.
Not a fan of vegetable juice though. Idk why.
That's why Im so happy the household has a juicer now. I can turn ANYTHING into juice!š i can put anything I want into it!
But I think my family hid it from me. I can't find it whenever I want to use it.
Do you guys think Soda is like a juice cousin? Or is it a Genre of juice?
If I had a soda machine (or whatever you call it) along with the juicer, I'd be unstoppable.
Thanks for reading. I dunno the vibe of this sub, but Im out of juice and didn't really know what else to do.

Been trying every flavor of this American Drop ā100% juiceā and am a huge fan. The orange? perfect. tastes like fresh squeezed. I (cluelessly) never assumed they had any added sugar (see both images) until I tried the dragonfruit today (called ādragonā on both the label and ingredients list⦠lol)
Friends, there is no way this has no added sugar. Iāve had real dragonfruit and it is nowhere near as sweet as this. Idk where else to post. I canāt believe until today I never questioned the label.
Anyone else tried this brand?

I drink a lot of juice boxes and I want to keep them as a collection like people do with monster cans. But, I'm worried that they might get smelly or mold. Do you guys think this will happen? Is there a good way to preserve my juice boxes?

Anyone else that drinks Minute Maid Fruit Punch notice it's out of stock everywhere? Especially Walmart! Not the discontinued old school frozen stuff, the refrigerated cartons. It's been out of stock at all 3 of our town's Walmart for ~2 weeks but Google doesn't say there are any "supply issues". Coming here to see if anyone else has the same issue or knows WTF is going on!!! I need MY JUICE!

Hello, there is question that I have been meaning to ask for sometime and this might be the right place. A little context first...
When I go to the kitchen sink and turn the nozzle suddenly a clear juice begins oozing out of the adjoining spout. It seems that this clear juice even has the ability to be temperature controlled depending on which nozzle is turned. It doesn't have any kind of taste, but on the upside there seems to be an unlimited amount; I was able to fill up an entire sink.
So could somebody please tell me if there is an actual name and use for this sink juice?

hi juice heads,
recently I had an interaction on this sub that has prompted me to wonder if anyone is aware of a type of juice that can turn you Chinese?
I'm not expecting a juice that would instantly turn me Chinese, I know that is ridiculous. But perhaps there is a juice that with consistent intake, can slowly raise my Chinese level over time?
thanks

Hello everyone
I wanted to hear your thoughts on if juice could be used as a soup base. For example, would it be permissible for me, a white man, to have apple juice noodle soup? I don't know about this, I want to hear your opinions.
Thank you and much love to you and your families.

Hi juice enjoyers,
I have been thinking about how we can improve the sense of community we have here at r/juice. Just this morning while sitting in the cold bathroom at my place of employment, I had the idea to create a juice gang.
So essentially we would be a criminal gang and we would commit crimes in the name of expanding our juice empire. We could burn down existing juice businesses and take over their territory. We could muscle our way into the juice supplier industry and harass businesses until they switch to our juice. We could steal juice supplies from our competition and use it to make our own juice. Essentially the goal will be to have a monopoly on the juice market, ideally globally.
All of this will mean that we can all have as much juice as we want. We will be like the 1 percenter Bikie clubs but instead we will be 1 perjuicers.
Let me know what you think, and if you have any ideas for what to name our criminal juice club.
Thanks,
-juiceifier

thatās it , thatās my hot take .
orange juice will always leave your mouth with a bad taste , apple juice is so refreshing and it never does that . both of these juices are so different yet people like orange juice better and i canāt comprehend why when it tastes so bad especially if you drink it in the morning .
