Ask Community Existential crisis
I will come straight to the point. I am a hindu general category. Since my childhood I was violently targeted for my caste and that caused me lot of trauma. Now, since I am a normal human and I cannot get 99.99 score in cat or any other govt exam, I cannot make it to reputed institutes. I cannot get the best education, cannot work in powerful govt positions and my family is politically weak so I can be insulted and discriminated for my caste and no one will support me. If Hindus are discriminated prosecuted by other Hindus and the law discriminated them based on their caste, then being a hindu is a punishment for me right? If I convert to Christianity or islam, I get community support and the govt is very simpethetic towards these religions and i can get into Christian colleges which are highly biased towards Christians. I can even get scholarships as Christian. I am just allowing myself to be abused discriminated and targeted and again made to feel shameful for my community for no reason, then why should I stay hindu??

General The way some so-called feminists and leftists seem to disproportionately target Hindu traditions and influence Hindu women to reject their culture or become atheists is concerning. At the same time, serious issues and conservative practices within Islam often seem to receive less attention. If this

Ask Community I’ve built Kaivalya: Brahmacharya — would love your honest feedback
App Link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kaivalya.app
Website : https://kaivalya.brahmacharyapath.com/
After putting a lot of time and effort into this project, I’m happy to share Kaivalya: Brahmacharya, an app I built to help people develop discipline, maintain daily routines, and stay consistent with their personal commitments.
The idea is to make self-improvement a daily practice rather than something we follow for just a few days and then forget.
Here’s what the app currently offers:
- 🕉️ Sankalp: Set personal commitments and stay focused on your goals.
- 📅 Dincharya: Build and follow daily routines.
- 🔥 Streak tracking: Masturb@tion Streak and leaque.
- 🏆 Leagues: Progress through different levels as you continue your journey.
- 📊 Reports: Review your progress and see how you're doing.
- 🌱 Recovery tools: Reflect on setbacks and get back on track.
- ⚡ Emergency Action: Access a tool to help you refocus when you're struggling with an urge.
What's coming next?
I'm planning to add an alarm/reminder feature to help users stay consistent with their routines and daily commitments.
I'd really appreciate feedback from this community. ❤️
- What features would make this app more useful for you?
- What should I improve in the current UI or user experience?
- What other features would you like to see in a Brahmacharya or self-discipline app?
- Is there anything that feels confusing, unnecessary, or missing?
I'm a developer from India building this project, and I want to keep improving it based on real user feedback. Please feel free to share honest criticism as well as suggestions. You don't need to be polite just for the sake of it — constructive feedback will genuinely help me.
Thank you for taking the time to check it out. 🙏 Jai Shri Ram! ❤️

News From Europe to India: Are Student Protests Following a Similar Political Playbook? 🇮🇳
Across France, Spain, Belgium and India, youth-led protests are raising an interesting question: Are these independent movements responding to local grievances, or are established political networks helping shape their narratives?
Here's the pattern worth examining:
🇫🇷 France: Student demonstrations over teacher shortages, overcrowded classrooms and deteriorating infrastructure have attracted support from unions and left-wing political groups.
🇪🇸 Spain: Housing protests involving tenants' unions and labour organizations have highlighted rising rents, evictions and economic insecurity.
🇧🇪 Belgium: Trade unions and student organizations have mobilized against austerity measures and rising education costs.
🇮🇳 India: Student organizations such as AISA and SFI have participated in protests concerning examination irregularities and electoral-roll controversies. Questions have also emerged about the role of newer youth-led political groups.
Here's where things get interesting.
Reports, including coverage by Fox News, have raised allegations about international activist networks and media organizations associated with financier Neville Roy Singham.
However, the existence of international ideological connections does not, by itself, establish coordinated protest activity.
🔎 Disinfo Lab has been examining whether comparable organizational patterns exist in India.
The questions deserve closer scrutiny:
- Are these movements independently organized or connected through broader networks?
- Who provides funding, organizational support and media amplification?
- Where does legitimate grassroots activism end and coordinated political messaging begin?
What do you think? Are we witnessing a global protest pattern, or are unrelated local movements being connected through a common political narrative?
Note: 👉Allegations of coordination and foreign influence require independently verifiable evidence. Similar protest tactics alone do not establish a connection.

Personal Experience Since when did a garba pandal become an OYO room? 💀
I'm so fkking done with people rn. I'm going for Garba from Sunday, and I've seen couples having s\*x in parking areas and behind washrooms. At first, I was like, IDC, let people enjoy their lives. But then I found out some people are doing it BEHIND THE MURTI ROOM, WHERE AN ACTUAL MURTI IS KEPT. LIKE, WHAT THE ACTUAL FK???
Bro, this is a temple, not an OYO hotel. If you wanna hook up, book a room. Nobody cares about your s\*x life, but HOW FKING INSENSITIVE CAN YOU BE?
The worst part is that most of these people are between 18 and 25. You're old enough to know basic boundaries and respect a place of worship.
People have complained multiple times, but nothing changes because this is an almost 80-year-old temple, and Garba is a huge tradition here.
I don't want Garba to stop. People come here to celebrate, dance, and enjoy the festival. But why should everyone else deal with this shit because some people can't control themselves for five minutes?
IDC what consenting adults do in private, but a fkking temple is NOT your hookup spot. Have some basic respect, ffs.
TLDR: People are reportedly hooking up in the parking areas, behind washrooms, and even behind a room where a murti is kept at an almost 80-year-old temple during Garba. I don't care what consenting adults do in private, but a fking temple is not your hookup spot. Have some basic respect for the place and the people who come here to worship and celebrate.

Ask Community "BJP is murdering democracy?" Let’s talk about November 7, 1966, when Indira Gandhi opened fire on Hindu Sadhus & Saints and Massacred them in broad daylight. They want you to forget 1966. Don't let them.
🔷November 7, 1966: The day the state answered a peaceful demand for cow protection with bullets. If you think BJP is doing dictatorship by deploying police and crpf at jantar mantar, you don't know what Indira Gandhi’s government did to the sadhus outside Parliament. Save Democracy” is a new Theme: just google when Congress opened fire on saints in 1966 and made the casualties disappear before sunrise! On the auspicious day of Gopashtami, hundreds of thousands of people, including a massive contingent of Naga Sadhus led by Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaj gathered peacefully in Delhi. Their demand was straightforward: a nationwide ban on cow slaughter, aligned with the Directive Principles of the Indian Constitution.
🔷While modern commentators obsess over the current political landscape, they conveniently erase the darkest chapters of the past. While peaceful saints stood up for the Directive Principles of the Constitution, Indira Gandhi's administration cleared the streets with literal gunfire. Government authorized live ammunition against the ascetics. Rifle fire ripped through the crowd outside the gates of democracy.
🔷Before lecturing anyone on democratic values, let's open the archives they tried to bury.
🔷The Ultimate Double Standard: Why the Mainstream Media and CJP and Dhruv Rathee, stay Silent on the 1966 Sadhu Massacre While Lecturing on Modern Democracy and rights?
🔷Before anyone lectures the public today about the erosion of democratic values or the suppression of dissent, they need to answer for November 7, 1966. Democracy wasn't compromised recently—the precedent of using lethal state force and wiping the bodies off the record books was drawn decades ago.
What are your thoughts on this forgotten chapter? Why is this completely omitted from our standard history textbooks?
P.S: This isn't about 'justifying' the current government; it's pointing out that the people lecturing us on rights today are the political descendants of the ones who set the precedent for state brutality.

General My wife (a Sanskrit scholar) and I built a Bhagavad Gita app: the story behind all 701 verses in Hindi and English, and the verses in 13 languages
To all my Hindu brothers and sisters,
This is my first time posting here. My wife and I are building Updesh, a Bhagavad Gita app. I wanted to understand each verse, not only read it, and I'd like to share it with people who care about the Gita.
My wife is a Sanskrit scholar, and she has helped a great deal: with the Sanskrit pronunciation, the translations and the explanations. A big kudos to her in helping me share this with you all.
What's in it (Android):
- Every one of the 701 verses has a short story-style explanation, so you understand what is happening around it, not just what it says. For example, in verse 1.1 Dhritarashtra calls his own sons māmakāḥ, "mine", while the others are only "the sons of Pandu". One way to hear it: the family is already divided in his speech.
- Narrated in English and Hindi. You can read each explanation or listen to it, and the sentence being spoken is highlighted as it plays.
- 13 languages for reading. English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Spanish, Portuguese and German.
-Every verse in the original Sanskrit with its recitation. Each word lights up as it is recited, so you can follow along even if you don't read Sanskrit fluently.

Thank you, and I hope you like it.

Political I cannot stand my leftist friends anymore
27m. I have some longtime friends from school when I was a liberal/leftist. The usual woke online-only ones. They’re all Hindu but I am not (Christian). I have since moved from that political side to at least a centrist or center-right depending on the issue because I started to find people like that miserable (especially recently). I’m also gay.
I want normal people in my life who are not trigger happy. I prefer to have Hindu friends only though. Is there space for me in this movement? I’m willing to learn and support in any way I can.
Thanks for reading. Jai Hind.
