I know GD for years but never even finished campaign (im PoE crackhead). Today decided to look for build "you have to try at least once" and stick with it till the end with all dlcs. My damaged went x4 after blindly picking it up at lvl 2 vs default dagger. I'm hyped!
Do you know list or some video when you can look up spots for all unique campaign items/stuff?

My best build is this warder I grinded to build https://www.grimtools.com/calc/VxAY37rZ but on sr 28 he struggles with a boss that has a shotgun ability and just deletes me. Is there any builds that I don't have to grind too much that can survive sr 31?

The wounded guy and the lady quest in malmouth, she even mentions that we could have saved him if you talk to her. After that i'm wondering if this quest has a different outcome like the one in candle district.

I am looking for a text guide on recommended preparation for the Celestial bosses on Ultimate.
I play hardcore so I cannot do trial and error.

First character I'll use to give a serious attempt at superbosses. With Word of Renewal, my DA is just over 3000. Thanks for any advice for improvement!

I've been trying out aura of censure paladin and I'm enjoying it a lot but feels a bit too passive, so I've been wandering what's a good fire build that can tank almost everything

My resistances are almost capped, I'm using the weapon and off-hand the build recommends, and the devotions, for that matter; yet my damage is way too low, and I'm dying way too easily.
Note: I'm playing on Ultimate.

I never really see any builds use this on grimtools and I'm wondering why, it seems pretty nice. Is it just too out of the way?

I am thinking of trying out Mystic however I dont know how some of the things affect berserker forms. Do melee weapons or at least their stats affect the default attack of Were forms? Do buffs like Solaels Witchfire affect the claw attacks or do they only affect weapons?

Since I was listening to some Farthest Frontier OST, YouTube decided to recommend me some old Grim Dawn videos from ages past.
It's interesting to see how far the game has come since this trailer.

Here is my homebrew tactician build I made when the buffs were announced. This isn't final, just my current setup.
Really, I have two questions I want answered by the community.
1)Did I cook or am I cooked?
2) Am I ascendant ready?
-I still plan on farming up a better version of the helm before going forward.
-I did my devotions when I got 55 points and haven't looked at them since.
-Build is a ton of fun, just explosions everywhere and I don't want to get rid of the fire and ice runes bc they are the reason I made this build.
- This is only my second homemade build and I only have around 300 hours, so still a lot to learn
What do y'all think? Any suggestions for the build?

Another post of optimisation testing, seems pretty great, but some visual bugs still needs to be ironed out. I will post ones per day/two to not spam the community, but i'm ready to ask any question and try my best to answer it. Carry On!
P.S. There was a new post, but I deleted it. People right, i don't need all attention to be on unreleased mod, even though i don't see anything wrong with showcasing cool stuff. Stay safe and see you soon!

EDIT: Build has been updated since posting. I think the link at the top shows the original version, and the one at the bottom shows the new one?
I think I need some help with this work-in-progress build. First I will explain the premise of it, then list the problems I am having. It is a *very* rough iteration, but I figured the sooner I ask for advice and start course correcting, the better. A lot of this equipped gear is just placeholder stuff for now. It would also appear that I am missing some secret quests. Also, I know I am significantly overcapped on spirit, I keep making gear edits and wasting potions so I'm leaving it alone for now. Components and augments are slightly messy for the same reason. I am DYING for a "160% weapon damage to grenado" roll on my gun, do not have it yet. (found out after posting that ascension bonus is for magic items only)
I decided to re-roll my Virtue's Guard Shieldbreaker because I found the playstyle mind-numbingly boring. I'm sure this has probably been done before but I haven't bothered looking for a guide, so for now I affectionately call this the "Holy Hand Grenado." Someone tell me if I am plagiarizing lol
Solael's Witchblade+Thermite Mines+Guardians of Empyrion+Ugdenbog Flamethrower totals something like -94% fire resist? Then we have the viper devotion giving 20% reduced resistances, and Rhowan's crown giving -X flat resists to cover all the bases. Lots of DA reduction as well, and seal of annihilation reducing enemy hp by 20% and hp regen by 50% (F U Kupacabra)
tl;dr I have 4 charges on Grenado with a 23% refund chance, it currently crits for 500-750k and applies a 200k burn DoT. On ultimate, Beronath took 5+ mins of kiting and butt clenching with my melee battlemage. He took maybe 90 seconds with this build, 80 of it being phase 2, it is amazing and I am having a blast. (haha)
But I am SQUISHYYY and questioning the hell out of my gear. I'm just going to list my concerns at this point.
Any and all forms of constructive criticism are welcome, but I think these are the main points for now.
EDIT: Here is an updated version of the build that solved many of those issues. With the additional cdr from Vilgazor's, and the perpetual zoomies from footpads of the grey magi/displacement/vire's might combined, it is also way more FUN. There are still some things to fix, like the toad devotion and the rings, but it is significantly better already.

Now that FoA has been out for a while, has anyone put together a good route or routes for farming Soul Fragments. I'm aware the meta for the altar is three Ashes of Awakening and two Frozen Aster. I'm curious what areas I should be hitting up for maximum bosses and elites. Crown Hill to Theodin seems like an obvious one. Any other good spots?

This is what my level 25 Witch Hunter currently looks like. It has started falling off quite a lot as I'm nearing Darius Crowley, heroes and bosses become tougher and tougher to kill while their damage is enough to 2/3 shot me. Any advice?

With such a wide variety of mastery combination, it took me hours of research to find that nightblade would be something fun, having previously tried an arcanist and finding it very tedious already by 15 (I had also locked in a warlock and just. Couldn't see enjoying the levelling)
I'm now there where I'm spending lots of time paralysed on picking a second mastery. I only know that i enjoyed zealot in diablo 2, and like the idea of dual wielding. I also know I want to be able to change play style at some point, just to experiment. I seem to be being pulled in dervish, reaper, infiltrator, and Reaver. Currently at level 30, in homestead.
How do you get over the fomo, or at least opportunity cost of playing the other interesting classes, and commit to a choice?
Ignore my flair, I'm having trouble selecting one, all the options look blank on mobile!
Edit: the fomo thing: Limited time, maybe 5 hours in a week to play, so getting a lot out of that time is important to me.

Spoilers inc, so I didn’t put his name in the title.
Recently I shared a tanky DPS build that I made, based on a dual wield chaos Werewolf Mystic.
This build can beat pretty much everything very easily. It can still take some damage from Crate, and even die if I am not focused enough, so that’s that, but all other content is an easy win for this build.
But then, I copied my build in softcore using GDStash, with all of my goal ascendant affixes that I still haven’t completed in HC, and went for N’erfatal.
I beat the usual N’erfatal after several tries and tweaking of my build (mainly removing hp for OA..), so at least I can do that, albeit not easily and not with my exact build.
But then comes Uber N’erfatal : I can bring him to 50-60% health before he gets enraged. But when he is enraged, I can get killed by pretty much anything and I feel like the fight becomes unfair for a melee char.
I tried tweaking devotions. Attributes. I even tried using a pot. I can’t bring him to under 30%, when he is enraged I know I will eventually get one or two shot.
I hoped my build would clear 100% of the content but I think I’m gonna have to take that disappointment, Uber N’erfatal is no joke apparently.
My build for reference : https://www.grimtools.com/calc/VbKeQL3Z
