Was shooting at my lgs and range that I shoot at and was checking out at the counter and getting my id back and there was a guy trying to put this on consignment. I’ve been looking into the grit grips frames and have wanted one for a bit now so I immediately recognized it and asked to see it, and how much he wanted for it. So gave him $550 for it and skipped the tax man. Overall super happy with it and feel like I got a pretty good deal.

Looking to get a magwell, before I shell out for SLR, I know some folks have managed to fit their gen 5 magwells to their gen 6’s with some slight modifications. Being more of a Empire fan, I am curious if anyone has tried to adapt a gen 5 Empire Katana to a gen 6 frame?

Is anybody using this magwell? It seems BG defense is manufacturing those with two other companies Lead Faucet Tactical and Ground Combat Solutions. I like the look of it but can't find any opinions.

What seems odd to you on this set up..?

Full disclosure, I am a US citizen living in Argentina.
The RMR, believe it or not, it's real. Bought it when I was living in Fort Lauderdale, put it on top of my glock and took it with me.
Since it's a auto adjustable RM02 Type 2 and I have an extra anti-Flicker battery foam pad that came with the DDP sealing plate and add to the fact that the left side of the RMR RM02 is sooooo empty, my OCD kicked in and just decided to place that little dot in there for shits and giggles.
So yes. it was intended as a joke. and for the desk experts: yes, it's is a real RMR.

I have a G23V and I have been looking for PDW chassis to get but nothing seems to work with it. Does anyone know of any workable chassis or should I give up the search?

G22 Gen 4 .40-to-9mm conversion: extractor or plunger issue?

This is my beloved Gen 4 G22 police trade-in with a $50 AIM Surplus 9mm conversion barrel.

I originally bought the barrel to save money on practice ammo. Surprisingly, the gun shoots great with it, flatter than a G17, even, due to the almost Bull barrel that the 9mm has to occupy the same space. With a 9mm recoil spring, ejector, extractor, and mags, I've gotten it running about 99.5% reliably.

I know some people report thousands of trouble-free rounds with just a barrel swap, but that hasn't been my experience. I've had three failures to extract where the casing stayed seated in the chamber and the extractor claw didn't grab it:

-124gr HST: 1 failure

-147gr HST: 1 failure

-Magtech steel-case 115gr: 1 failure

The 124gr HST failure concerns me most, since that ammo has run flawlessly in every other 9mm I've owned.

I noticed the 9mm and .40 use different extractor plungers. Could that be contributing to the issue? The 9mm plunger is only an $18 part, but testing another setup with $65 worth of HST adds up quickly.

Alternatively, is this conversion actually supposed to use the .40 extractor? I've heard that running 9mm through a .40 extractor can cause problems due to the different rim geometry.

What do you think is the weak link here: the inexpensive conversion barrel, the extractor, or the extractor plunger? Should I just keep the 9mm barrel for range use?

I'd appreciate any insight, especially from Glock armorers. I've got plenty of 9mm pistols; I just really like this gun's handling and its excellent OEM trigger.

I have a Glock 19C Gen 3, that I have kept bone stock except for adding templated grip tape to the lower. But as I'm getting better and better at pistol shooting and tightening up my grouping, I'm noticing that after about 500 rounds my trigger finger is getting a little sore. It's not that I can't handle it and shoot through it, it's just very annoying. My father in law has a Canik Mete and I love his trigger and how comfortable it is. So, my question is, is there a Canik "style" trigger I can put in, or what trigger do you recommend? (the trigger poundage doesn't bother me at all, I'm wary of very lightly pressure trigger)

Got the one piece FRT to dump a mag the other day, but I am having this issue intermittently. I’m noticing if I pull trigger too hard is when I have issues cycling anyway to fix? I just got the 3.5 ghost connector in mail today but haven’t installed yet

I have my personalized setups just the way I want them with gen 5 ejectors, apex extractors with their extractor spring and non LCI bearing, and DPM system's non captured RSI using the lighter spring of the two for gen 3 glock 19s.

They run flawlessly. But just one minor thing I notice is the change in ejection pattern with loads.

115 grains at ~supersonic velocities are extremely consistent (PMC bronze, hornaday american gunner xtp, barnes vor tx) sending brass back and to the right.

115 grains above supersonic velocities (gold dot), or 147 grain ~1000 fps ammo is a bit more erratic, occasionally even sending brass over my head.

It's possible that using the heavier of the two springs that DPM advertises as being meant for 147 grain loads may address that.

Is one group of ammo of a particular weight and velocity more prone to a malfunction than the other based on ejection pattern?

I want to try handleit grips out. I use the medium backstrap. do I just apply the grip over the backstrap just the same as applying without a backstrap?
