Opus Eponymous turns 16.

16 years ago this albums was unleashed unto the world and the story began.

Personally, this was my introduction to the band. Listen to it on a whim 16 years ago and I just never left. Is, and will remain, my favorite album.

What's your favorite song from the album?

pulled an all nighter to finish it! Love how it turned out!

was extremely surprised by the ultimates figure, i’m itching to take him out of the box, but he’ll remain enclosed. we’re also MTG players and the mat is so sick, but so huge 🦅

Bought this off of ebay, never seen one for sale before and it has never been worn before, the seller said it was just on display, snagged this for $150 and it came with the mask

... I read the rules and they say it's okay to post Priest-related stuff..

back from the february cinci show. shared the fit on here, but thought this pic was too cool not to share.

Got these WAY back in 2017 in the Meliora days. Came with the meet and greet package way back when. Was a wonderful ritual at a shockingly tiny venue in Fresno. Back when the sisters still gave out wine and the host! Haven't been able to find much about them or see any resale, especially not with the whole kit! Coin and photo. Anyone know the value/rarity?

What would you say is Ghost's darkest song? By "dark," I mean in topic, in tone, and in music. Ghost has plenty of songs that sort of flirt with darker topics but are fun, campy, or otherwise not all that dark.

Respite on the Spitalfields comes to mind for me, but Witch Image and Rats seem like contenders.

What say you?

I always sit out and play music while I’m giving out candy and I wanna add some Ghost to the mix.

What do you all recommend?

Love the dedication to the Chucks no matter the fit. Looks like BTS for his V/H/S segment.

Apologies if this exact observation has been made before; I just joined the congregation about two months ago and I did a quick search of "Griftwood" on the sub, but didn't see this.

I like Griftwood, and I know the "holy mother" bridge is a jab at Mike Pence calling his wife "mother" (ew), but it felt a little weird and out of place to me. This week, though, I've been processing how my former faith tradition treats women, and I gave it a listen, and one line made the whole thing click into place for me: "The world rests heavy on your shoulders."

MEN get to "never ever suffer again." MEN get power. Women get put on a pedestal so long as we meekly bear all that suffering for them and forgive them whenever their abuses of that power might hurt us (washing the sin from their feet), and then those same awful men get to talk about how no, really, THEY'RE the ones who love women, look how much they love and respect us (as long as we know our place)!

Anyway, I predict that I'm going to be listening to Griftwood pretty much nonstop all week because it's hitting me right where I live right now.

What song/songs off skeleta do you think will become semi-permanent additions to the setlist in rituals moving forward? I think lachryma and satanized have high chances of staying, but I unfortunately don’t see any way they could keep peacefield being that it’s an opening song like kaisarion.

OH MY SATAN I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY IT IS SO WARM AND VERY HIGH QUALITY AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH! THANK YOU TO MY DADA 🥹🫶(please ignore the hair. Currently suffering from a bad hair cut)

Hell yeah, some repugnant representation! Wonder if he's bringing it back??

Just wanted to share the most random find ever in a Barnes and Noble. I was on a work trip and had hopped over to the bookstore to check for a gift and lo and behold - I found this In Focus magazine packed with photos, lore, interviews. It basically covers the entire span of Ghost's career until now. It was the last one on the shelf too. I consider this a big win. We aint got goodies like this where I'm from.

And along with that 4 of my vinyls arrived today and I am stoked to finally own Ghost vinyls! They are so pretty. Haven't even unpacked them yet.

That's all. Just sharing some finds and love. 🖤

So I recently watched the new Coyote vs Acme movie, and something strange hit me: I think Bugs Bunny talks and laughs and drafts his speech a lot like Cardi.....so maybe the inspiration for Cardi was actually Bugs Bunny? 🙈

What do you guys think? Do you see some resemblance too, or am I just projecting my Cardiness on random bunnies? 😆

Friday night my husband and I went to see Beat on the UC Santa Cruz campus. For those of you not familiar, this is a band comprised of iconic guitarists Steve Vai and Adrian Belew, extraordinary bassist Tony Levin and on this go round Terry Bozzio on drums. These guys played with Frank Zappa back in the day and King Crimson in the '80s. Now I know some of the younger members of this group that might not mean anything.. but suffice it to say these musicians are next level progressive rock.

We paid for the meet and greet package and both my husband and I wore Ghost shirts. Steve Vai walked up to us and said "Hey are you guys Ghost fans? We said "Yes we're major goes fans"! He said, " Me too! My wife and I are crazy for them! We saw two shows on the last tour. San Diego and Phoenix"

I'll tell you what.. we did not see that coming LOL it was such a world's colliding momen! And to make it more special we were also at the San Diego ritual. It just goes to show musicians love musicians and it was so nice to be recognized as Ghost fans from such an iconic and extraordinary guitar player.

If you have Ghost...

This is going to be my halloween costume for this year. For a little background I started this back in August and my grandma and I have worked on it daily all the way to early October, so yes it took a long time, please let me know what you think of it! And if you have any questions
