I bought the Galaxy S25 along with the Ringke Onyx, as I really like its design. However, the raised bottom lip is a bit too high for my liking. Whenever I swipe up from the bottom of the screen to return to the Home screen or switch apps, my thumb hits the case before reaching the display, making the gesture feel awkward and less smooth.
I'd like to keep using a protective case, but one that doesn't interfere with bottom swipe gestures. Ideally, the Ringke Onyx would have a lower or more tapered lip at the bottom, similar to its sides, although I understand the raised edge may be there for drop protection.
Does anyone have recommendations for a case that offers decent protection while making swipe gestures feel natural? In particular, are there cases with a lower or more tapered bottom lip?
I've also tried Good Lock's Home Up module, but the bottom gesture sensitivity setting is already at maximum. Is there any other way to increase gesture sensitivity beyond that?
Maybe I'll get used to it with time, but for now it feels pretty awkward. What do you guys think? Has anyone else experienced this with the Ringke Onyx or another case? Did you eventually get used to it, or did you switch cases?
