I've seen this trend since forever in this city, maybe it's because of the judgemental state of our population where females feel unsafe to express their true selves. This is the best thing that happened to me (and us) on this Pujo. All of us, reddit strangers, but THE HOST (guy in Madhubani panjabi) invited us in the group. Bas! Aur kya hona tha... We went there looking pretty, he showed us around his bari and gram. Tbh, I prefer this kind of energy. We created a good impression on him and his family enough to be invited to Navami as well. The whole place has that old charm you can't help but be in awe.

It's almost like a miracle that this happened 🙌🏻 Reddit can be a beautiful place if you let it happen to you ✨🌛

Like Around Sector-2C and Santose, Chaturanga or Cement Park ....you would hardly find a traditional family pandal hopping....most are dates and couple outings...
