Question Mailing to dorms
I had ordered stuff off Amazon and sent them to shipping and receiving. They arrived there on Tuesday. Am I supposed to get an email or something saying when I can pick up my deliveries from the mail room of my residence hall, or do I just go in whenever during pickup hours to get them?

Selling Guest Pass Ticket
Hi all,
I created this account to sell my guest pass for dragonfly. I'm skipping on going. Is there a way to transfer to someone else, or no because the ID has to match?

Beware of Knickerbocker properties
Slow maintenance, passive aggressive leasing manager, building door doesn’t work, security and safety issues, stolen packages, just don’t do it…. There are better options I promise!!! You’ve been warned.
They refuse to give me my security deposit back… this is my first time never receiving it back and I’ve rented at multiple places…

I built a Chrome extension that puts RateMyProfessor ratings directly into the Drexel TMS and BannerWeb registration
As a student who has had 8ams with horrible professors, I got tired of switching between the Term Master Schedule and RateMyProfessors every time I was building a schedule. So I built a small Chrome extension that puts each professor's rating right next to their name.
Basically when you open TMS or search for classes, you'll see something like:
(4.4) Professor Name
Ratings get pulled in automatically.
A few things it does:
- Works with the standard Drexel class schedule portal
- Color-coded ratings so it’s easy to skim
- Hover a badge for difficulty, would-take-again %, and number of ratings
- Fetches the latest RMP data quick
- Caches results so it loads fast after the first time
Here's an example screenshot:

Install (free) from the Chrome Web Store:
--> DU ProfessorView
It's open source if you want to look at the code or contribute:
--> https://github.com/mlhv/drexel-rmp
I’d love feedback on what works, what’s confusing, or any features you’d want added.
Totally free, stores everything locally, and doesn’t track anything.
Hopefully this helps make planning your schedule easier!
Disclaimer: Please remember professors are people too. Ratings can be biased or incomplete. This just surfaces info students already check anyway.

Survey [Mod Approved] Survey Participation Request: Current International Students
Hello! I am currently completing my dissertation on international student mental health and personality assessment. My survey is confidential and takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. If you are 18 years old or older, are currently enrolled as an International student and have resided in the US for at least 3 months, it would mean a lot to me if you could complete my survey.
If you have any peers who are also international students at US universities, please feel free to share this study with them. Upon completion of the survey, participants have the opportunity to enter a raffle for 1 of 5 $25 giftcards. Thank you!

Submitting a Portfolio - TV / Film
Hey guys, simple question... my daughter has submitted everything, and she's hoping for Early Decision. She isn't on Reddit, so I figured I'd ask here. For her TV / Film Production program, it lists the Portfolio as "optional."
In your opinion, is it worth it for her to do the portfolio? Do you think there's a chance that it could actually hurt her?
If you guys don't mind me bragging, she actually has a YouTube channel where she restores classic cars. There are videos where she's actually tearing apart, rebuilding, and installing a motor (she literally does it ALL herself). She's monetized, and even went up to congress to lobby with SEMA lawyers for "Right to Repair" and "Right to Race" (ensures individuals have the right to repair their own vehicles, and eliminates subscription lockouts and open-sourcing the ECMs, etc.... also supports rights to maintain race tracks. It's totally bi-partisan for what it's worth, but I'm concerned that maybe if someone in Westphal doesn't like cars or something, they'll cut her.
She also does short films, like one she did at the home with a zombie attacking her in a dystopian (day after) scenario. This was just for fun, and they're all really well done. I can post some if anyone is interested, I just don't want to do the advertising thing because I'm generally interested. I mean, she's 17, so she does this all in between every other friggin' thing she volunteered for at school and all her sports and two orchestras.
She like... REALLY wants to get into this program... is an optional portfolio, really "optional?" ... and can it actually hurt her?
Thank you!

Discussion Drexel Predator
Genuinely why the hell is there a predator posting on fizz. He's a "retired" (probably trust fund baby or something) 28 y/o trying to sleep with freshmen girls (called them "the filet mignon of pussy") and thinks its okay and normal just because they're 18. He posts his bad dragon dildo collection and all his kink gear, none of which is like entry level bdsm gear if a girl actually did want to try it. It's so disheartening to see people upvoting his post and downvoting people calling him out for being a weirdo. Ik it's supposed to be anonymous but the fact that he's allowed on fizz is crazy
Edit: THE GUY HAS A WIFE HIS AGE. HE IS LITERALLY MARRIED AND STILL TRYING TO GET FRESHMAN GIRLS TO SLEEP WITH HIM. WTFFFF
Edit 2: i'm fairly certain that this guy is Andrei doroshin (and I'm not the only one) but he's adamant that he's not. so far no real evidence to disprove it other than saying he's italian (which would imply he knows Andrei is russian-american but in a previous comment he said that he didn't know Andrei personally), planning to email fizz to see if I can get the anon acct banned since he's 28 infiltrating a 18-24 space and posting pics of non-beginner friendly kink gear. Refuses to admit he's a creep even though he allegedly said that he waits for highschoolers to become college students...
edit 3: i think he might've been banned or is just laying low rn. he's on fizz like all day everyday but he hasn't posted as much recently and the post he made on an actual handle (The Unc™️) doesn't exist anymore 🤷 still refusing to give solid proof that he isnt Andrei but knowing what he claimed in his court case against Drexel can't say I'm surprised.
EDIT 4 BREAKING UPDATE: so apparently it's actually not andrei!! someone had him in their dms and got him to send a pic of himself and its not andrei and I have no idea who he is. still hella disturbing tho

Female Roommate Wanted – Elkins Park (Walking Distance to Campus)
Hey guys! I'm a 22-year-old female optometry student in Elkins Park, and I'm currently looking for a female roommate to share my 2-bedroom apartment.
The apartment is within walking distance of the Elkins Park campus and has great amenities, including a gym facility, excellent building security, a balcony, and in-unit laundry. You would also have your own private bedroom and bathroom.
I'm very tidy and organized, so ideally I'm looking for another female roommate who is quiet, clean, and respectful of shared spaces.
If you're interested, feel free to PM me! I'd be happy to share more details about the location, rent, and apartment.

TV & Film Program
Hey guys, my daughter just finished submitting her application for colleges. She's in the TV Film Production class. I was hoping to hear from a couple of people on here that have maybe gone through that program and your thoughts? I saw that u/iamtheduckie had TV / Film Production next to his name, so not sure if that means that's his degree program (I assume)?
Drexel seems to be "THE" school my daughter wants to go to. Like, it's all she talks about. We took her on a tour there, and she's like... Philadelphia is the best city in the world... (after seeing Reading station). Oddly enough, I actually went there and got a Master's Degree from Kline School of Law... and I rather liked my program too.
She went on a tour and got to meet the guy who runs the whole program (she basically thought he was awesome, and was a huge deciding factor for her doing Early Decision).
I'm just looking for some feedback from anyone who's actually gone there, or better yet, done the film program. It's at least 2x more expensive than the next several other schools she applied to... so I'd really like to know what I'm going to be paying for, since I will probably be broke after paying for her degree, hahah. I took my Master's degree online, so it was a LOT cheaper than her going to school directly. She did Early Decision, so I guess she has to wait until mid-December, but she brings it up almost every day.
Anyway, appreciate any feedback! Thanks!
