Discussion How to choose three photos from a boudoir shoot NSFW
A three-photo set doesn't need three versions of the same pose. Give each frame a different job.
Set the scene. Start with enough space to show the room, the light and the subject's posture.
Bring us closer. Choose a portrait where the expression changes the mood, rather than simply cropping the first frame.
End on a contrast. A different angle, a quiet detail or a change of position can give the sequence a natural finish.
If two photographs do the same job, keep the one with the better expression. Lay all three out together before uploading and check whether each adds something. More revealing doesn't automatically mean more interesting.
When comparing sets in our English archive, look at what changes between frames: expression, camera distance or the space around the subject. That often tells you more than the outfit alone.
