In the company’s picture here, there is definitely a shit bow by both characters. The woman is a little bit worse, because if I can see your eyebrows and eyelashes at maximum bow, it’s definitely a shit bow.
But on both of them, they’re just dropping their heads. The body is completely straight! Bend at the waist, especially if you are being paid to apologize. It’s a disturbing lack of professionalism in this industry.

Hey r/curb! I’m Blake J. Harris. My new book, EMPEROR OF NOTHING: The Making of Larry David, is out October 20 from Dey Street Books. It’s the first authorized biography of Larry, and it’s built on more than five years of research and interviews with Larry himself, plus his family, friends, and closest collaborators. The book follows Larry from his Brooklyn childhood and temperamental stand-up career to his creative partnership with Jerry Seinfeld and starring in his own show. Along the way, I uncovered never-before-told stories and never-before-published stand-up bits while exploring the nuance behind the neurosis: who’s the actual man behind that legendary TV persona, and how has he managed to stay a walking, talking enigma for so long? Ask me anything about Larry, the making ofCurb and Seinfeld, what it was like spending years with him, or how a book like this comes together.
EDIT [2:51 PM EST]: Hey all! Great questions! I need to run for the next several hours but please keep the questions coming. I promise I'll answer every single one at some point (except for questions about Israel...I mean, come on; I'm a Jew too, and I don't know the proper etiquette for such things--let alone would want to speak for Larry
UPDATE [9:21 PM EST]: Sorry it took me so long to get back to the remaining questions. I think I got them all. Thank you again for asking such interesting things! If you have a question that you wanted to ask but didn't (or if you start reading the book and have a question) I'm pretty easy to reach out Reddit and social media so don't hesitate to reach out!

I'm a child of the early '90s, so I remember corded phones, but I didn't live in North America and never learned the phone etiquette there. If you were at someone's house or in an office, could you just pick up the phone and use it? In my home country, you had to ask first. Culturally, we always ask permission otherwise it's considered rude. To this day I still ask before using someone's bathroom or Wi-Fi lol
So was Larry raising a real point of etiquette, or was the rule actually capricious?
serving room temperature tap water to dinner guests is diabolical. Larry for the W on this one

Okay, so in Season 7 Episode 2, "Vehicular Fellatio," Leon is sneaking his buddy Alton's wife around, and when Alton shows up, Larry ends up hiding her in his car. Loretta pulls up, sees the woman popping up from under the seat with Larry in the driver's seat, and thinks Larry cheated on her. She dumps him and walks out.
Leon? He stays at Larry's house until the end of the show and doesn't even talk to his sister. His own sister left over the whole thing and he's still there.
Then in Season 12 in Atlanta, Auntie Rae is still totally cool with Larry, even though her niece dumped him over the cheating thing. Larry's basically living in a world where the whole family forgives him for something he didn't even do.
What makes the ending so funny is how little anyone cares about the truth. Leon knows exactly what happened, and he's the one who caused it, but he never has to answer for it. He just keeps living in Larry's house while his sister is out of the picture And then Auntie Rae, who is supposed to be the family's moral center, is the one who shows Larry the most grace.

I don't want an actual answer on this post.
I just started watching crub your enthusiasm for the first time and while I like it a lot it seems really obvious that Larry and his wife are gonna get a divorce at some point in the show, I can't point to a specific reason why but it just kinda seems inevitable.
I just wanna put this thought out here in case I'm right or wrong.

Hey all, I seem to a remember a moment in curb where Larry says"I don't give a fuck." Or maybe something similar. Can't quite remember the context but I think larry was being fired or told to leave from something and that was his response. I think it was earlier in the series. Been trying to find it but can't. Possibly mistaking it from another show, not sure. Any input would be great, thanks!
