Just letting people know that there's a College-wide survey out for current full-time students. You can find links in your email or on eConestoga. Participants get entered to win some prize Amazon gift cards. Pretty sure the results get summarized in some way back to students as a whole? I see a reference to it in the reports available to download here: https://www.conestogastudents.com/representation/annualgeneralmeetings/

Anyways, give it a click if you want. Maybe it'll help improve things. Gotta keep hoping!

Went to visit the Doon campus the other day after 13 years and it had completely changed for the worse in my opinion. The blue room “cozy corner” no longer has Pizza Pizza or Subway, the room is used as storage now. There seems to be a Starbucks that is no longer operational. The cafeteria was also closed at 1pm, it used to be open until 3pm when I attended the college. There seems to have been a Starbucks in E wing as well, but it wasn’t open either. Overall the campus gives the vibe of a dying/ depressing mall. Would love to get an update from students or professors just to know why it has gone downhill.

Anyone completed the University Pathways program? Which one and which program and university did you go after?

Hi there,

How does course registration work for Conestoga? Im starting the practical nursing program in jan 2027 and I got something saying course registration opens November 2nd. What does this mean and do I have to actually register for every class?

Hey! I'm an international student from India.

I completed a Animation and Game Fundamentals course at Conestoga College from September 2025 to April 2026. Right now, I am doing a 3D Animation course at Seneca College (September 2026 to April 2027).

PGWP will be my next step, so I am feeling a bit nervous about it and wondering how the November 2024 IRCC rules apply, what will be length and processing time of my PGWP?

I hope you guud can answer my question. "Thanks in advance !!".

This is a Serious question, I don't live in the area so I'm not sure if its a place I can trust putting my motorcycle. My family thinks it will get stolen, so I'm not really sure what to do. Or is there underground parking somewhere? (even if it's not the school parking). I would be staying on residence so it will always be parked at the school (not just day time). I genuinely worked so hard to get this bike and if it gets stolen I don't have enough money to get another. It is a sportbike so the appeal is there I guess(?)

Thanks guys

Mature student here. I've been avoiding using AI on my assignments, other than to find sources of information, because I know that it'll probably get detected in my old school writing. I want to learn some complicated stuff about coding and my subject, but every time i use AI I feel that I see the answer and don't actually learn anything. Does anyone have any tips to actually form durable knowledge in my own brain based on what AI can help with? Like should I make it quiz me or something? I refuse to pay money for anything.

Lead me through it. Thanks.

This may be dumb to ask but when should i expect to receive the refund for opting out for the health plan? I did it a few weeks ago. I only remember it saying it’s a certain amount of time after the opt out period ends on September 30th, but I don’t remember when it was lol.

Quick question, will the people starting practical nursing in January still be getting a 4 month summer break? I’ve tried looking it up on google but it gives me yes and it also gives me a no. Anyone know the correct answer?

Hi, I will be going into the January 2027 nursing program, can anyone in the program right now at the Waterloo location share how their schedule is?

Just talked with some Conestoga representatives about diagnostic sonography and they told me that I need a 100% Average 😭. Can anybody in the course currently lmk there grades when they applied and how hard the course work is

Hi! Has anyone taken Professional Nursing 1 (PNUR1157) in Conestoga’s PSW-to-PN Bridge program? Did you have a midterm or final exam, and how was the course graded? I know it may change by term, but I’d appreciate hearing about your experience. TIA

Hi everyone, I am interested in taking the Health Office Administration Diploma and wanted to know if it is worth taking. Thanks

Pre-health is super content heavy and a lot of information to digest, as someone who’s been out of high school for a bit. It was A LOT of info to take in however, an extra resource I’ve used is The Organic Chemistry Tutor on YouTube. 10/10 content, very simple explanations even on complex topics and uses a lot of visuals to make sense of things for you. This guy has been a life saver when I’ve had to figure out physics. Not only is it Chem but he does physics, bio and math content too. I recommend him to all of you, this guy has content on just about everything we’ve learned, at least so far.

TLDR; The Organic Chemistry Tutor has amazing content on Bio, Chem, Physics and Math. 10/10 recommend.

Hi, I was just wondering if the very first cohort of the MLS program have gotten the chance to write the CSMLS exam? I can't seem to find results for Conestoga on the national report card website and want to have a better assessment of this program. I know it's only accredited with condition.

Thanks.

Hi!! I’m currently planning to take the MCAT and have recently started studying. I’ve been studying at the Conestoga Doon Library and thought it would be nice to have someone to study with! 😊

I’m hoping to find someone who is also studying for the MCAT, whether you’re just starting out or already well into your prep. I think having a study buddy would help with staying accountable, taking breaks, reviewing topics together, and keeping each other motivated throughout the process. We don’t necessarily have to study together the entire time, we could just meet up, do our own studying, and check in with each other.

If anyone is interested, feel free to comment or dm me! 😊🫶

Do students on the Truck and Coach Technician (Apprenticeship) program get trained on CMMS software...?

What does the practical nursing Steele campus look like it is morning lecture or afternoon.I just want to have ideas.
